Zatchels flash sale

Zatchels are having a 24 hour 50% off sale tomorrow. It's advertised on their Facebook page. I'm tempted but don't know whether to go for a classic colour (probably the navy) or one of the metallics. Has anyone ordered from them and could you recommend a colour? Thanks!

Aaarrrrgggghhh, this is getting ridiculous.
After weeks of no replies to my emails, and me not receiving the mass email updates that were sent out to some:

  • last week I was told that I should have my bag before the end of May
  • today I have just been told that I 'should have' my bag by the end of next week.

So, I am def not going to order from them ever again. And I shall possibly cancel this order too, as I am just fed up.

How does anyone get them to answer the phone. It is an automated message asking you to email them, which of course they don't reply to.

I phoned 0845 521 2723 at about 10.15 this morning and it was answered after about 2 rings.

I have a 16" one, and it would be OK, but doesn't fit a drink bottle alongside the folders. Well, it would fit a small one. It is the brown executive- very lovely, but I'm not sure if 17.5" would be overkill. It is slightly deeper though, which would be useful.
I assume the leather softens up, so they become a bit roomier anyway.

It's very odd that they aren't replying to people.

I've spoken to them six times via email in the past week. Most replies were within 10 minutes, one was within an hour with an apology for the delay.

I have 17.5" satchel, because I.wanted one large enough for a 17" laptop. It is big, and quite manly. I am 5'8" and sturdy. It doesn't swamp me, but I think it might on anyone much smaller.

Well I gave up playing nicely when they didn't answer the two emails I sent and weren't answering the phone when I called. Sent them an email threatening to contact my credit card provider to claw the money back off them.
Got a reply in an hour.
Bag will be here by the end of the week (I hope!).

I wasn't fussed about waiting before but even I'm getting impatient now :(. Has anyone received their bag in the last couple of days? I noticed on the Zatchels Facebook page that they've advertised a new range, but no mention of any update for those of us still waiting.

I finally spoke to someone.

They were very nice. The leather is now in for classic brown saddle bags and I should have it by the end of next week.

We'll see.

I.noticed the strap.was long and the excess bit didn't have anything to be tucked into ? If that makes sense, so it curls out?

I got a dispatch notice for mine today. It's coming via Parcelforce apparently. Mine wasn't in one of the leathers they needed to order more of.
