LeFreak I don't have one, but yep right place to ask!

Foxy am so kicking myself for not throwing the other one in the basket for you! Argh. Next time.

MarshaBrady · 02/04/2013 19:20

I love these lists.

Mine is the

J Crew chambray shirt and silver flats
Something pretty, floral or broderie
A light pale lemon yellow fine knit
Ballet flats
A summer light shirt
Pencil skirt

Practically willing the warmer weather with that list.

McNally · 02/04/2013 19:50

Hope your day has taken a turn for the better foxy.

My list so far is:

A bright (either pink, orange or yellow) skirt. I saw a great yellow one in Cos last year but was pregnant so didn't get it, damn.
A pretty white or cream top (lace or broderie)
Some more sunglasses
Flat silver sandals
A sunhat (haven't worked out best style for me yet)

C'mon sun...

MarshaBrady · 02/04/2013 20:03

J Crew have an extra 30% off with 'sunshine', but no returns. Only order if you're sure!

shopafrolic · 02/04/2013 20:06

Waves to all - lovely to see Hopefully back!
So here we are in an amazing converted barn near Bath. There are chickens, turkeys, pigs and lambs so plenty to keep DS entertained. We've spent a lovely sunny day in Bath today although DS had an epic tantrum in the Roman baths. It was like being in Ikea, once you're in, you can't get out so we had to haul DS round, screaming his head off until we could get more Calpol from Boots! After that we headed through Bristol to Weston Super Mare for a windy afternoon on the pier. Not very stylish in Dubarry boots and jeans and jumpers but very happy.

hello Shop great to see you, forgot where it was you were going. Sounds fab.

shopafrolic · 02/04/2013 20:27

My list is empty apart from a long (and cheap as chips) orange vest top.
Sooooo difficult in Bath today walking past all the lovely shops with a spending ban on! All Saints was practically calling me.......

I am impressed everyone has wish lists for ss! I am too cold to think that far ahead but we're on holiday in 3 weeks so I want to sort out some holiday clothes. I dont want to take a load (not much point but I have had the same holiday wardrobe for years now, so bit bored!). I even have the same summer dress that I bought from Top Shop in the hot summer of 1995. Sigh. On my last holiday (post Christmas break) I bought one new dress from desigual and that was it!

libertychick · 02/04/2013 21:46

QueenC I have decided to replace my very old and battered navy converse with grey or navy NB's and will wear them mostly with jeans/t-shirts/sweaters. Blatantly trying to channel a Phoebe Philo vibe - I really like the idea of this type of look.

Sleepwhenidie · 02/04/2013 22:56

Hi from sunny but freezing Cornwall everyone! Have had a lovely afternoon on the beach wearing most of the sweaters I own all at once, playing football and digging holes with DC's and their cousins to keep warm. People watching were probably impressed at how quickly i moved for such a chunky lass Grin. At least I think I burned a few calories to make up for the Easter chocolate and the chips stolen from ds1 this evening.

It has taken me a while to catch up as the thread is moving as rapidly as usual Smile. Novice I am so happy for you about your necklace, sweet reliefSmile. Was also Grin imagining your DH this morning. Re your being impressed by s/s lists, what about foxy with a/w Shock list, or do you just mean the never ending a/w we are in rather than 2013/14 foxy Grin

Hi hopefully, nice to see you here again. Re alternatives to me&em dresses, I would look at Velvet (Graham & Spencer), Baujken, Charli and if you want a treat, Anglomania.

foxy I love that PP look but not one I could ever pull off unfortunately. Try not to get too stressed about the eBay skirt by the way, I have had two experiences recently where disputes have been raised, one where I was a buyer from blatant rip off merchant, one where I sold an item that buyer claimed was fake (it wasn't, of course). I got my money back and so did my buyer so you should at least get your £30 back at worst (shame about the skirt though Sad).

lefreak let us know how you get on with the Emma Hardie stuff. EH herself was in spaceNK the other day when I popped in, giving free facials. Unfortunately I didn't have time to get one but the lady who just had seemed impressed.

I am tempted by the NB trainers too, think they look great, but not sure how well they would really work with my wardrobe/look...perhaps supergas a more sensible choice. Speaking of my summer wardrobe I tried to pin some more of it yesterday, which made me realise how old most of it is Shock. Definitely needs an injection of a few nice things. I ordered some bits from MW to arrive here tomorrow, will link separately as I don't want to lose all my typing on stupid ipad, but quite excited about them. I am also still thinking about the duffy colour block sweater, its definitely me but the full price spend on top of what I've bought already this year is making me hesitate. How long til sales (especially DonaIda) do you all reckon Hmm?

I could do with some recommendations for long sleeved t's to put under loose short sleeved sweaters...have American Vintage fine knit one but the sleeves go really baggy and wrinkly if pushed up. Ideas anyone?

Sleepwhenidie · 02/04/2013 23:00

My MW order with £60 voucher...

ballet flats and

leopard jeans ..scratching my itch for current Elliot grey leopard stiletto jeans that can't be found, at least not cheaply, anywhere...Amber, fashion fairy.. prove me wrong?

Drywhiteplease · 02/04/2013 23:09

Amber you should have said you wanted a Mickey Mouse top......surrounded here!!
I'm going trainer buying sometime later this week. Need proper trainers for the gym....everyone here is wearing brightly coloured ones which i quite fancy. Are they a bit naff for the gym...or will I look ok?

foxysocks · 03/04/2013 10:02

In LPQ on marylebone, waiting for a friend and then planking a m

foxysocks · 03/04/2013 10:06

Planking, wtf?? On phone obv. Planning mooch around ESP matches. Looks like skirt all ok will pick up once get home tomorrow. Marsha you are super lovely, don't feel bad about not buying yellow tee for someone you've never met lol! And yes I admit thoughts turned to AW13 as this AW seemingly never ending. Saw a girl with 'my' fur coat on yday, asked DH what he thought and he hated it haha! So not sure how that will go down. Typing in phone v annoying but back later, have great day voguettes xx

foxysocks · 03/04/2013 10:08

Love bright trainers dry white

Shop try H&M for cheap - £3- long orange vest. Esprit also have them for £12, free del and returns if not sure on size

Sleepwhenidie · 03/04/2013 10:12

Have a lovely day foxy!

BrandyAlexander · 03/04/2013 10:13

Morning all! I feel like a corpseHmm. My nanny called me at work yesterday to say my 1 year old wasn't well so dropped everything and got home to find the poor thing feverish. Took him to the docs and he has tonsillitis as apparently I have hadShock. He didn't sleep much last night. Dh did most of the seeing to him but I feel like rubbish! I did have time in the middle of the night to look at all the lovely links from yesterday thoughSmile

For some reason when I don't feel well I always wear a trouser suit so I am wearing my Austin reed grey flannel suit with this Kalimdor burnt orange cowl neck top, matched with my Chloe Marcie and Jimmy Choo Mary Janes.

However today is all about the jewelryGrin. My tennis bracelet arrived this morning. It's fab. I think the 2 carat is fab for work so am wearing it with usual mixture of Tiffanys and Boodles ring. I am also wearing a fab little silver necklace with a red rose from magnolia. It's £6 and so pretty. Will try and find link later. Finally, my very pretty Oasis diamanté watch that I have had about 10 years. Dh was Hmm when I bought it because it is an exact copy of a steel and diamond Gucci one he bought me.Grin Oh speaking of dh, I am wearing the right coat today, poor thing. BlushGrin

BrandyAlexander · 03/04/2013 10:15

Have a great day foxy! Envy

MarshaBrady · 03/04/2013 10:30

Ha Foxy I so would have bought it, but dithered on what you would think of it. Had I known would have done it in a shot! Have a great day!

Sleep your ballet flat pic goes to nail varnish. Closest I could find on c/e leopard but corduroy. Not huge discount. I think the outnet had them at one point, some left overs on there in different colours.

Liberty really like that P Philo look.

Novice glad the tennis bracelet is fabulous.

Shop bit much for a tank still, but orange here.

It's cold today isn't it. We are in the stages of looking at houses, and I don't think I've done one viewing with the actual sun out. So am always asking which way is south / north again? Where is the sunshine? Am such a sun cat.

pickledsiblings · 03/04/2013 10:37

Shop, the &Other Stories website has a few orangey tanks in different fabrics - it's worth a browse anyhow. They've got an emerald green leather belt on there Liberty.

Hopefully · 03/04/2013 11:17

Lefreak I am a size 10 (10-12 really), and I wear a Small and it is v fitted on me, which I like. I have seen someone a v similar size to me in a medium and it was a much more skimming fit, less figure hugging.

Hopefully · 03/04/2013 11:21

Sleep those leopard jeans look fab. I kind of wish i'd bought a pair of leopard jeans last year. Am fatter than i was this time last year, not sure it would be a fabulous look at the moment (although have been dieting now for all of two days, so am feeling a bit better).

Dieting is so dull, isn't it? Weirdly I find I am much more able to diet when I have given myself permission to buy clothes - I hate buying things that look rubbish, so i am much more motivated to look good when i want to buy nice clothes. Shallow, much?! The same wanting-to-look-better-in-new-clothes thing has also pushed me to book my first leg wax of 2013 Blush. The poor woman is going to faint when she sees my legs.

Hopefully · 03/04/2013 11:31

In other news, I feel sure I would exercise far more efficiently if I had this exercise outfit. Also really liking this t-shirt, but too ££

AmberNectarine · 03/04/2013 14:05

I also wear a small in Me&Em, which is tight but not skin tight.

sleep I wish I knew, those jeans have been on my Pinteret wish list since time immemorial. I have the cords in the camel though. Hate how low C/E are though. No-one needs to see my fanny.

shopafrolic · 03/04/2013 15:32

Am stuck in a queue at Longleat staring at lions. DS hasn't slept! Tonight might be hellish. Thanks for the orange vest tips. H&M it will probably be for me. Enjoy your day foxy. Will look at links this evening.
Happy house hunting Marsha still in London?
