Thanks Marsha, I did order the grey horrigans earlier.

I love that photo of Gwyneth on Pin, where she's wearing grey boots with skinny jeans.

I do like the Hudson Enke in coal, so if I did get them at a later date, they are different enough from the horrigans. if that makes sense.

I do love the bowies and beas Shop, but I find myself picking other shoes out to wear iykwim.

MarshaBrady · 24/03/2013 12:22

Grumpy if I get an exact time like that they do usually turn up when they say they will. Hope you can sort it quickly, how annoying.

Anni good one they are nice. I like that pic of Gwynnie too.

I'm wearing stella m skinny grey motos, orange mnv (cough again) it's such a weekend jumper and new V Bruno jacket today. The tweed has a warm red running through it and goes really well with orange / red / yellow underneath. Still really pleased I kept it.

Drywhiteplease · 24/03/2013 17:16

I'm back.....I made it....I danced till 1.15..... I'm alive!!!!!!Grin fantastic arriving in puffy parka and Wellies them unwrapping to reveal party ensemble.

I love the gigis Grumpy

I also adore G Paltrows style and was v cross at the stupid DM yesterday who slated her for posting v expensive garments in her feature on spring looks on Goop.dont they understand "aspirational"?

shopafrolic · 24/03/2013 17:48

Does anyone have any experience of selling designer handbags on EBay? If an item is in good condition, how much of the original RRP would you expect to get back? Thinking of selling one of my oak Mulberry's.......

Decameron · 24/03/2013 18:01

Shop, I sold an regular sized oak Alexa for £420, it was in very good condition. Think they are £795 now but I bought it in the duty free at 20% off so was happy enough.

I like the boots, Anni. Will be good in this Siberian spring we are having!

Glad you had a good night, Drywhite!

foxysocks · 24/03/2013 18:14

Which style, shop? I might be interested...

No shopping here, too effing cold to think about SS and am still feeling grotty. Popped into a few places on Friday and was distinctly underwhelmed. Jigsaw, reiss, whistles, few other places, nada.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 24/03/2013 18:17

Sounds like a fun night Drywhite. You can't beat a long night of dancing.

The Gigis do look lovely. I was on Amazon buying music and just had a sneaky look to see what colourways they had and couldn't pass them up. I've got some Sam Edelman bottle green velvet slipper pumps and you just can't beat those quilted soles.

Listening with interest as to how you get on selling Shop. I've got a ponyskin Hobbs handbag bought for about £300 last year which I've only used once and don't really love. I know it's not quite a Mulberry, but I want to ebay it and don't want to get £25 for it.

santamarianovella · 24/03/2013 18:17

shop i sold some of my bags through a friend of DH who is an ebay seller (an LV speedy, ysl oversized muse, and a very old crossbody gucci fabric). the ysl was sold for half its original price, and the lv was sold for about 180.i didnt make much, but it was better than having a cramped closet with bags i dont use anymore.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 24/03/2013 18:19

Realised my last post made me sound like I go around buying £300 bags I don't like - I did love it when I bought it, but found it cumbersome when I used it. Now gone right off it.

Decameron · 24/03/2013 18:21

I was really lucky, I sold an LV speedy (red leather) for more than I paid for it. Red wasn't available at the time. I still regret selling it though.

I think brands like Hobbs sell well, Grumpy.

Get well soon, Foxy.

LeFreakCestChic · 24/03/2013 18:23

Hello everyone! Is there a £20 off code/ requirement for atterley road...? I fancy the blue cords too..
Also wondering if anyone has a great plains code for 10% off & free delivery. It was on the back of a catalogue I got which has been recycled grrr. I emailed great plains about it but they said they couldn't give me a replacement code which is quite rubbish. Also, while I'm requesting (!) am in the market for a yellow jumper, not ££. Any ideas? Ta v much

foxysocks · 24/03/2013 18:27

Would love an LV speedy

Thanks decam, unfortunately DH away for work from tomorrow and Easter hols have already started, sob. Monday will be brought to you by Pixar ...

foxysocks · 24/03/2013 18:27

Att rd code is share2013 I think lefreak

LeFreakCestChic · 24/03/2013 18:32

Foxy, you may have ridden to my rescue again! Have emailed GP to say how crap their CS is- other online companies give out alternative codes, why can't they?

santamarianovella · 24/03/2013 18:58

there is a huge demand for vintage LV speedy bags decam sadly i didnt know that till a few months ago.
but with recent increase in mulberry prices, many people are buying pre-owned ones shop, and if you have the dust bag and the original certificate you can make decent amount out of it.

Pseudonymity · 24/03/2013 19:02

Just popping in to say that I'm loving the recent acquisitions. Are the Gigi sandals a good purchase then? I deliberated last year but didn't bite in the end. It was so wet in the end that I mostly wore my Ash Jess boots (like jalouse but leather). In fact I'm thinking of getting another pair of boots now for that purpose. Optimistic of me I know!

AmberNectarine · 24/03/2013 19:06

I really like my Gigis, would never pay £85 for them though!

foxysocks · 24/03/2013 19:11

I like the look of them but tbh I live in havianas if its hot. Might get some in the sales if they pop up. Are about £45 on shopbop ATM.

Annianni · 24/03/2013 19:30

Asos have gigi's for £45 at the moment.

shopafrolic · 24/03/2013 19:49

LeFreak GAP had some v bright yellow sweaters....
Thanks all for the handbag selling info, I'll give it some thought. I haven't used this particular Mulberry for years as it's a small size (more for evening), I still have the Selfridges receipt so perhaps I'll give it a try. Need to start cashing in some bits and pieces......

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 24/03/2013 20:23

right yellow? LeFreak
shop were you looking for a yellow one? Is this more of the Marant colour?

shopafrolic · 24/03/2013 20:46

That is a better yellow for me Dry. Unfortunately all spending is now totally suspended so I shall have to keep dreaming for now!

Drywhiteplease · 24/03/2013 20:56

Fingers crossed for tomorrow shop

QueenCadbury · 24/03/2013 21:02

Ooh, dancing till 1.15. It's been a while since I did that Envy. How's your head today Grin?

Sleepwhenidie · 24/03/2013 21:09

Hi you chatty lot, sounds like you had a great night drywhite. I was at a birthday party in super hip East London (felt old), enjoyed wearing my new zara heels but would have preferred to be snuggled up on the sofa to be honest, I can't cope with two nights out in a row either it seems Grin.

Today has been spent mostly in kickboxing kit as I had a grading, tough going, especially as I'm still not back to full health but I got a lovely new belt Grin.

My red James jeggings arrived from the Outnet, but unfortunately they don't really work, definitely make my legs look chunky. Shame as they are a great colour. Eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Goldsigns and CE from DonaIda.

We booked a cheap week in Spain for Easter hols today, figured that even if the weather there isn't hot it has to be better than here. Couldn't bring ourselves to pay £££ for Lanzarote. Now I need to think about what to take, may need to boost my summer wardrobe.

Good luck for tomorrow shop
