All of the other ones are closed now and I still need some help!

statistically - I usually always wear the padded t-shirt bras, neither of the ones i bought are that syle. I like the t-shirt bras as I do wear a lot of tighter fitting tops in summer. I can't get away with the balconette style though.
I am serious about the 38E fitting. It is far comfier than the 38G I got, no side boobs no extra front boob, everything that should lay flat against my skin does, it doesn't ride up at front oback. I chose this one after trying a few on,and becasue I didn't want to spend huge amounts of money until I had got the size right and the style right.
Having said that, I don't think I'd buy another one in this style, although it is really comfortable, I never feel like I have it on

Saltire · 24/04/2013 13:31

Sorry bad grammar in that last sentence. I meant I get no pain or uncomfortable feelings from wearing it - it feels ike I am not wearing anything.

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 13:36

Are m & s bras ok or are they as bad as the fitters?

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/04/2013 13:39

It depends on size HalfBaked - I think some of their smaller cups are ok but the larger bras don't seem to really have had their patterns adjusted very well IMO. They are almost just scaled up versions of the smaller cups and that doesn't tend to work.

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 13:43

I am looking for a 30 Dd / 30g, do they qualify as small cup or large, I am lost!

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 13:45

That was supposed to say ff not Dd.

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/04/2013 13:47

Honestly - i'd give it a body swerve. They don't seem to actually sell FF, so you would actually be looking at a G/GG in there. I have tried bras on in those sizes and they really weren't great. You can get better for your money online.

Saltire · 24/04/2013 13:51

I have noticed I seem to have an improved shape int eh chestarea now, my boos seem to sit higher and are rounder looking in the new bras, mine have always had a droopy look when braless, and the bras I was wearg didn't seem to help that much but the newer size ones I have been trying on really make a difference. DH is taking me shopping this weekend to try on different styles in various shops.

he doesn't know this yet though so don't tell him Wink

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 14:28

Thanks, that saves me a trip & money!

SorrelForbes · 24/04/2013 15:42

Just received this from a seller on Bratabase.

I love Fauve. The quality and fit is amazing.

OneLittleLady · 24/04/2013 15:46

I think the M&S sizes come up small. I need a 34G in there but everywhere else I'm a 34F.

SorrelForbes · 24/04/2013 15:50

I've never managed to find my size in-store in M&S so can't really assess the actual fit/quality. For some scary interesting M&S fitting experiences read on

OneLittleLady · 24/04/2013 15:51

The quality is good in M&S I think, I just personally find the fit small compared to other brands.

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 16:00

I have just bought a fauve, isobel I think and I love it! It's not a perfect size, I got 32f and its a bit loose in the band and small in the cup but I love it anyway!

SorrelForbes · 24/04/2013 16:58

HalfBakedCleverCookie Some discounted Fauve stuff here

Silverstar2 · 24/04/2013 19:02

Hello everyone! I am still on the look ut for the perfect bra, and want to try some of the CK range - can I ask, does the back some up small on these? I have found that only after a few wears my 34's are on the middle or tightest hook, but with loads of back and under arm fat......... so looking to try a 32, will go up from a H to a HH, and like the look of CK because they have 3 rows of hooks on larger sizes......... looking at the Princess or Emily style..... was told in Bravissimo that this wasn't the best style for me, but nothing else works - full cups are just all too high under the arm and the wires dig in.

Help and advise much appreciated as ever!

Thanks sorrell I have fallen in live with bronte but just haven't got the funds to spend 72 on one bra at the moment. :(

sparkle12mar08 · 24/04/2013 21:23

I think the CK non padded's are pretty true to size in the band. Their wires are fairly wide sloped and extend reasonably far around the rib cage but are not high. But because the wires are wide, the straps are wide set too and therefore I definitely get a little pinching and chafing on the strap and the fabric edge from the wire to the base of the strap. I also find that even in the correct size the non padded balconies just don't suit me, they give a slightly odd, flattened east-west look - there isn't enough forwards projection for my preference, because of the wide wires. I'm not a huge fan but the designs are so pretty and you can often pick them up v cheaply on ebay. I much prefer their padded half cup/Showgirl range they are amazing, and in contrast, run very big in the band in my opinion - I measure 31.5 but wear a 28 in that range!

HalfBakedCleverCookie · 24/04/2013 21:31

Does anyone know if all of fauve's bras have the unusual wires like isobel? They don't go in a u shape but are more flatterned at the side toward the rib cage and they have side sling support.

Silverstar2 · 25/04/2013 08:14

I really want to try CK - anyone tried the Daily Boost? I am desperate for a nude t-shirt bra for under white tops this year. i have the the deco, but it just didn't suit me - neither did the Rebecca..... I know that it is probably me, but I do need something or I won;t be bale to wear white tops this year!

SorrelForbes · 25/04/2013 08:57

No, I only seem to be able to get on with the Thrill Me style. Have you tried the Cleo Juna? It's my current favourite T-shirt bra.

SorrelForbes · 25/04/2013 08:59

Half. I'm no sure about the wires. Married might know. I actually have two 30G Fauve half cups for sale on Reddit BraSwap at the moment if you're interested.

sparkle12mar08 · 25/04/2013 10:54

I've tried Daily Boost and didn't get on with it, and I really, really wanted to love it. I loved the style, the pattern everything, except the actual fit lol! Because it's moulded it will either suit the shape of your boobs or not. The wires were wide set and hence so were the straps leading to the same high cut wire-to-strap fabric edge I mentioned previously. I think that's more pronounced on the large cup size, small back combos, and is worse if your boobs are high set on your chest - it's impossible to get the straps short enough without the underarm side of the cup digging in.

For t-shirt bras I actually find the Debenhams Comfort moulded tshirt bras the best so far, though they don't come in my perfect size. The underarm cut is much better the basic mould suits me, the only issue is the central gore is a little wide, but they're well priced. here

Silverstar2 · 25/04/2013 11:45

Thanks sparkle I may try debenhams.

I have several of the Juna Sorrel, and although I like them, the lace shows under white tops, and I still get a lot of back fat/underarm fat. May try going down to a 32............ but I think the strap is not 'deep' enough to hold my flabby bits in place!

SorrelForbes · 25/04/2013 11:52

Hmmm. Ok, what about a Bizkopty from EM?
