Foxy is it the 'Edie' breton you've ordered?

House of Fraser have navy & grey striped for £25. I tried it yesterday but found it too short.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 18:02

Great sweatshirt wine.
Issues with DH potential redundancy are ongoing, stress levels high, and i'm now on antibiotics.
Today I look like death but am in my American Apparel green top, with J Brand skinnies, and 'those boots' which might have to be surgically removed from my feet soon. Will try and catch up on links. Sorry - am rubbish ATM.

blondambition · 19/03/2013 19:38

Woohoo Foxy I am ridiculously pleased you like it! Grin. Sorry I had a little card I meant to pop in with it but found it on the side at home, oh well.

Got some work stuff to catch up on, will be back after I've finished and can reward myself with links.

Hope you all have lovely evenings. DH away and I have clean sheets and a new duvet I can't wait to snuggle up in .

foxysocks · 19/03/2013 20:02

yes it is anni - I saw that grey one but i really want a classic navy/cream. I tried it in JL the other week and the fit was good but we'll see, can always go back if too short. I did get the 10 rather than a 6-8 (my usual whistles size) for a bit more slouch.

ahhh blond that's so sweet of you. I am so pleased with it, and excited to get dressed tomorrow

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2013 20:08

Shop ah you poor thing, sending soothing and relaxing get well vibes.

Wine good move on the Marant! Love the Jigsaw.

And the J Crew jackets MrsRad and the Hudsons and Me&Em Carrie.

Have a peacoat here and Twiggy jeans need to do a try on.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 20:17

Thanks Marsha fingers crossed on the Twiggys......
Carrie I meant to say earlier that I'm glad the Hudsons are a success.
I'm dream shopping this evening and this has just fallen into my imaginary shopping basket

QueenCadbury · 19/03/2013 20:21

shop hope you're feeling better now you've started antibiotics.

wine I love that sweatshirt. And it comes in my 2 favourite colours.

foxy we will have to meet up so I can see your jumper (I can't make London meet up)

winefairy · 19/03/2013 20:24

shop Such a stressful time. Have everything crossed for you that it all improves very quickly. Really hope that you'll start to feel better after the antib's.

Marsha looking forward to peacoat feedback. Really hope you love it as it looks fabulous. But let me know if you don't Grin

Off to catch up on other links

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2013 21:01

Wine will do! Grin

Shop love that Marant.

It's looking quite good I think, so far, need to try with more stuff. Anni what do you / will you wear yours with? I was thinking a yes breton, bright long sleeved tops as I feel funny with the 3/4 and nothing underneath.

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2013 21:01

Evening all! Glad to see the crimes against fashion have come thick and fast while I've been off line
Amber love the skeleton earring, goth look etc. it made you the chic lady you are now.......I LOVE the cobalt blue dress on you today. V jealous.perfect....no dumpy knees at all.
Marsha knee high socks with lace up boots Shock velvet Alice bands....I had one and wore it despite the fact it gave me a head ach....and Velcro in shoulder pads in various sizes to put in knitwear....fabulous on my 5ft 3 frame!Grin
I actually went to Gap today and bought the crew neck mint green jumper ( and a black one....and a grey one too Blush) so I can copy that look....found a blingy necklace in a bag in my wardrobe .
shop you're having a tough time right now. So sorry. I'll let you know about the yellow. Loving your Manchester clubbing outfits.....you are so cool.
MrsR I'm a big fan of animal print accessories, go with everything.

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2013 21:03

Btw the Gap sale is great.........my jumpers were £14.99 instead of £24.95, I tried to explain to my 14 yr old DS what a bargain and why I had to buy 2 more....he wasn't following at all, sounded Hmm like his dad!!!!

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2013 21:07

Great work on the Gap sale DryWhite! I fancy going in to one rather than doing online, I have no idea on sizes.

Still looking forward to J Crew opening. Silver flats and this shirt.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 21:08

Great colour isn't it Marsha I need a high street budget version. It's such a good colour....... Are the jeans okay?
Drywhite really not cool! Sitting at home snuggled in front of Midsummer Murders inhaling Olbas Oil by the gallon!
Thanks wine, queenC et al for the well wishes.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2013 21:10

Yes they're fab thanks! I'm feeling a bit bleurgh so need to try both again tomorrow morning, with other things. But they are really nice aren't they.

foxysocks · 19/03/2013 21:11

YES marsha I am so getting a j crew shirt this SS. Love the flats too.

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2013 21:13

marsha the mint and black are true to size and quite fitted, the grey is more slouchy

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2013 21:15

Oh shop I've just seen the Marant yellow jumper.....from the photo online I would think the Gap one is brighter, but not quite neon.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 21:18

This one Drywhite

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2013 21:19

I know the more I see the more I love it.

Also worked out that Madewell is something to do with J Crew too.

And have been studying these leopards from before, wondering if they are these calf hair ones.

And how to order as an extra 20% off.

Thanks Dry.

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 21:22

Good news Marsha I'm really pleased with them although I haven't dared to wear them yet.
Yup drywhite I think it'll be too bright.
When does JCrew open? All I can find online is end of 2013...... Does anyone know?

shopafrolic · 19/03/2013 21:41

So my question for this evening as I hit the sack.
When I was in my twenties there was a fire in the flat below us. We were told by the firemen that we wouldn't be able to get back in for a while so to pack some essential clothing. Because I was in shock (I assume) I came away with bras, no knickers, a pair of PVC trousers and a couple of t-shirts!!
So my question is. If you could only save three items from your wardrobe what would they be?
Mine now?
My Mulberry Bayswater
My J Brands
And my MaxMara coat

libertychick · 19/03/2013 21:47

Oh so many lovely things linked today?temptation everywhere.

Mrs R and Marsha thanks for the great ideas for the BR skirt. I hadn?t thought of wearing grey with yellow and pairing it with a denim shirt is also a look I will try. Marsha the thought of lots of 16 year old Aussie sloans is hilarious! Gap definitely best visited ? sizing all over the place but tends towards generous. Hope the peacoat and twiggys are keepers

Envy at Shops Madchester years! God my twenties were so tame! Sorry to hear you are not well though, really hope things get sorted for you soon

Winefairy the Jigsaw silk front sweater is fantastic.

And well done Drywhite for kicking off another great discussion. Off to think about the answer to Shops....

Drywhiteplease · 19/03/2013 21:50

Oh shop how could you do this? This is a question, like " if you could have only one handbag, money no object, which would it be?", that I will spend days, months pondering.
Will answer anon....does this include jewelrey?

libertychick · 19/03/2013 21:51

I would save my APC navy and white stripe sweater, 7FAM skinnies and Caterpillar biker boots (practicality rules!)

AmberNectarine · 19/03/2013 22:14

I'd save my Tibi lobster sweater, my Louboutins and Rocco.
