Oh and I like those J Crew pumps...really like flat pointy shoes at the mo and they seem to be everywhere. Those are v simple. I have a bright pink pair from ages ago, I might unearth.

foxysocks · 13/03/2013 18:29

wooo won some leopard print ballerinas on ebay for £13. french sole ones, only worn once. decided didn't want to spend a lot as i'm yet to be convinced about anything animal print, this is a nice inexpensive way to dip my toe in and see if i like it Smile

hope they fit now, otherwise guess they can go straight back on there.

MrsR i've only had money to spend on clothes for the last six months or so - before that things were very tight with little/no manouvre. so having a bit to spend on me each month is amazing! also my new found ebaying obsession has funded some great essentials, i'm just grateful everyday to have some fab choices.

right tomorrow I am def wearing the biker. will channel amber and try to ignore the cold!

Annianni · 13/03/2013 19:04

Well done Foxy.

They feel fine Decameron, very soft straps.

Thanks Justasecond, I understand.
I'll let you know tomorrow how I get on with the sweater either way.

There's some size 7 gigi's on ebay, lightly worn, finishing tomorrow.
Bids of £3 ish atm if anyone's interested.
They are cream patent and blush glitter

BrandyAlexander · 13/03/2013 19:20

Just nipping in to say quick hello!Smile

Had to go to Tiffanys today on Old Bond Street. Managed to avoid going into Prada which has got some gorgeous bags this season!

Love the links. MrsR that top is lovely. Don't think it would suit me at all but is lovely.

Back later!

Hi, just popping in to say well done on your outnet purchases! I am not good with the outnet - I don't check often enough and the things I want are always gone in my size, even outside of clearance sales. Will keep trying. Recent purchases for me - the Whistles jersey tube skirt in black and a Kooples skinny silk black slouchy tee, which is amazing, best tee I've ever had. Can't find online because it was past season from an outlet. I know you all hate the Kooples though! Similar in shape to the Helmut one that Amber bought.

Some good ballet flats at JCrew, they have a slight hidden wedge so are good dupes for the Lanvin. No gold though, and I'm waiting until they open in the UK before ordering anything from there.

MarshaBrady · 13/03/2013 21:07

Well done Foxy! Good buy.

Pseud agree, am waiting for store to open in London. They sound good if they have a hidden wedge. Love the sound of the Kooples t and the Whistles skirt.

Grumpy love the Mad Men BR buys.

Anyone else's outnet turn up? Shop, Anni, Sleep, Amber, Decam, Fritzi? that was from memory, may have missed someone!

My next thing is a pencil skirt, a bit stretchy, to wear with the new I&I.

shopafrolic · 13/03/2013 21:09

Nothing here yet.

AmberNectarine · 13/03/2013 21:12

I like the Kooples, but I lost a little bit of faith when they used Pete Doherty for marketing. That is not my idea of aspirational.

My Outnet order is at my parent's house (they are always in), will collect tomorrow. Am looking forward to a big try on tomorrow night when DH is out. May even blog it!

Annianni · 14/03/2013 09:08

My outnet delivery will be here today and I need to collect the lace sweatshirt too.

Did anyone order that red FC breton from ebay?
Because they are all sold now.

Whistles sale has started today.
Nothing I bought last week included though (thank god)

FritziGreenEyes · 14/03/2013 09:53

annianni My Outnet parcel is apparently still stuck at Belgium sort facility, gah! I'm checking DHL update status obsessively. Fingers crossed it gets here before I go away for the weekend or I'll have to wait until Monday.

Sleepwhenidie · 14/03/2013 10:44

Hi everyone, I missed my outnet delivery yesterday because I was feeling really dreadful again and fell asleep Angry! Due 12-2 today, hopefully not 12-12.30 though as i will be getting ds2 from nurseryHmm.

Am panicking slightly now about this dinner tomorrow night, been too ill to think about it for the last week. Am going to try some stuff on now.

I have a couple of ponchos but they are sort of sweater/poncho hybrids, the darker grey is more of a pain as you can't put a coat over it but the pale one is ok for bags and coats. I love them, think the volume works well with skinnies or short skirts.

I also like the Kooples but usually a bit too androgynous on me, a friend of mine wears lots of it and looks great.

Liking the sound of a pencil skirt Marsha, some gorgeous ones around, Preen snakey one first choice but £ouch!

shopafrolic · 14/03/2013 11:22

My Outnet sweater arrived and is fab!
pinterest.com/pin/122230577358954467/
It will go with lots of things and is even my colours so I don't feel so bad about falling off the wagon for that price. I have to say though it is much thinner than the MNAV orange sweater so if I'd paid full price I'd probably have sent it back. But for £25 all in and with Spring on the way it's a keeper.
Am spending the morning loading up pics to the Pintrest swap board, if things don't shift from there then I'll start EBaying.

Annianni · 14/03/2013 11:37

Wey hey... mine's here...

Fab peacoat love love love it, definitely a keeper.
C/E jeans lovely but not for me.
Mother jeans lovely but too low rise for me.
I&I sweater really nice, lovely and soft, but too snug on my boobs and fat tum.
I&I green cardigan brilliant fit on me, not keen on the pink stripe.
If anyone has a large cardigan in the other colours, i'll buy it off them :)

If anyone wants the sweater, which is a large, let me know by the end of today. Otherwise i'll book the collection for tomorrow.

Well done Shop

Sleepwhenidie · 14/03/2013 11:39

It looks great shop - fab colours.

Ok, I have uploaded some pics to my profile, basically my choices for this dinner - its at the Tower of London with (as far as I can make out) a bunch of billionaires..the only dress code is that men must wear ties and no pointy heels because of cobbly paths outside where we will be for some kind of ceremony (will take ballet flats in bag Wink - no intention of going completely heelless!) Lord know what other women will be wearing but I suspect the Acne is too risqué...but my other options may be too casual, feels like a black shift and pearls occasion tbh - but I don't own thoseGrin. Let me know if you think I should go on an expressly forbidden emergency raid on Selfridges. Am genuinely reluctant to though...

Sleepwhenidie · 14/03/2013 11:41

Anni just saw your outnet bargains - love the coat.

Annianni · 14/03/2013 11:43

I like picture 1, sparkly jacket
And picture 4, ruched (sp!?) dress.

Picture 2 and 3 looks like you're going shopping... or to the bank...(sorry)

I love the Acne :o

Sleepwhenidie · 14/03/2013 11:44

Oh - and without wanting to flatter myself, this is the dress I am wearing - how does Yoox make it look so bad?!

Annianni · 14/03/2013 11:45

Thanks Sleep, it's more like a cotton jacket than a coat, and the sleeves are 3/4 but I can imagine wearing it a lot.

Annianni · 14/03/2013 11:46

:o how boring does it look on Yoox.
Much better on you.

shopafrolic · 14/03/2013 12:41

Anni you dress up for your bank manager! Grin Agree though, not for an evening out.
I've been to a few dos at the Tower and also HoP before. I'd wear outfit 1 (because it's so damn cold! or 4 the dress. Does the dress work with nude tights and different colour heels?
I love 2 and 3 - just not for this.....

justasecond · 14/03/2013 13:24

Annianni have just pm'd you re the outnet khaki jumper, would love to have it, then I can pass on my M to the person that pm'd me yesterday.

justasecond · 14/03/2013 13:25

That style comes up a bit small I think? Iam usually ok with a M

AmberNectarine · 14/03/2013 13:49

Feeling a tad apprehensive about the size S items I ordered now!!

Decameron · 14/03/2013 14:00

Sleep, I also vote for 1 and 4. You look so much better than the model in the dress.

Great coat, Anni. Hope your order arrives soon, Fritzi.

My bargain sweater arrived, really pleased with it and wish I'd nabbed other colours. Also got my J Brands from the US (these and these. Almost makes up for having to cancel my night out tonight (bad cold).

Decameron · 14/03/2013 14:01

Amber, the medium is a good size on me (I'm a small-ish 12 on top), S should fit you.
