All are welcome to chat style and beauty on this thread!

that's fab russianred am so pleased for you!

anni lovely scarf, i have the same one in the blush/black colourway and use it all the time. the wool/silk blend is great for the cooler months, and it's a great size.

i'm not sure on the coat tbh. i quite like the collar but the drawstring puts me off, i'm not a fan of them at all. what about the hush navy biker jacket instead? £60 atm and there's bound to be a code issued soon.

Russianred · 10/03/2013 13:37

Hi Marsha Wink. Think I nabbed the last one as now appears sold out.

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2013 13:38

Yes gotta be fast on these things! I think I was very seduced by the price and how lovely it is, but it's not the best thing for me.

Decameron · 10/03/2013 13:57

LeFreak, how about this shirt? Pure always have discount codes.

Fab scarf, Anni and Red. Marsha, I think a brighter colour for you. Not sure about the coat tbh, Anni.

The Rag and bone jacket is great, Foxy.

Is that the Balenciaga perfume, Amber? I tried it in the airport, I think, lovely stuff.

DH told me to order myself something so I did! This dress in blush. VIP for £20 off. I'm planning to get another couple of dresses from them for summer, I love 'em.

QueenCadbury · 10/03/2013 14:59

Ooh, I have a code for pure which can in the Sunday times today. YXB114 gives 25%off plus free delivery and returns.

anni not sure about the coat at all but I prefer more classic trench coat/mac. Also thinking practically it's not going to much use in the rain. I'm currently trying to find a proper weather proof mac that I can wear on the school run.

foxy your dh sounds better by the day...telling you to get the expensive jacket and looking at your Pinterest boards. My dh would think I was mad if he saw my boards! Still can't complain as he's paying for my colours to be done. I also got flowers and cakes and having a roast cooked for me so m very happy Smile

QueenCadbury · 10/03/2013 15:03

dec just looked at your dress link. Looks like the sort of dress that would fit me well as those blouson type shapes are usually good for my long body. Presumably you're a loyal customer to get a VIP code? Do they ever have discount codes for everyone?

MrsRadicchio · 10/03/2013 15:11

LeFreak I recently bought a polka dot shirt from Chinti and Parker - this. It also comes in black I think and in rust.

Or this?

Anni I actually like the coat, it is like a parka, quite casual looking but I like that slouchy casual style. I like that its a 100% cotton though it is true that it won't help in the rain!

I like this dress and this skirt by the same brand.

I am ebaying like crazy today, free listings, as I have a few things I want to fund and feeling the need to declutter. Quite a few heels heading out as I just don't wear them anymore.

Happy mother's day to all, had a nice meal out for lunch.

I also have that Becksongaard (sp?) scarf in grey background / black stars, the new mumsnet scarf??

MrsRadicchio · 10/03/2013 15:16

Shop you mentioned offering suggestions for how to wear...I don't have these items pinned but I had a mid thigh brown faux fur coat that I am unsure what to wear with. I always feel like a bit of a bear wearing it if that makes sense?!

Also a pair of leopard print boots from New Look (I also can't find them to pin).

Feel free (all of you) to look through my boards but I haven't pinned all of my clothes there, so any suggestions are welcome.

libertychick · 10/03/2013 15:19

Envy at all your Mother's day gifts. My DH refuses on principle to have anything to do with 'Hallmark' days so I got a card via playgroup on Friday and that's it. I took matters into my own hands and took DD out this morning to Cafe Nero and treated her to a panetone and me to a full fat cappuccino and danish - I was rewarded with her sitting in my lap and being all snuggly while she ate it! Decided then I would treat myself to something indulgent and wandered the beauty counters but nothing appealed.

Anni do feedback on the Hush biker...I have commented on your navy coat on pin. It definitely needs trying on as could be great but as Marsha says totally depends on how the collar sits.

Sleep good to hear you are feeling better.

MrsRadicchio · 10/03/2013 15:19

Also (final post from me!) I am keen on these shoes but what would I wear them with?

Annianni · 10/03/2013 15:19

I've ordered the coat to try anyway. I wouldn't wear it pulled in at the waist like that either.
I'm hoping it's a bit parka like.

I've ordered the Hush biker Foxy, i'm picking it up from the sorting office in the morning. I used a 10% code.

I've got a chocolate brown trench but it doesn't feel like me at the moment QueenC.
I think i'm going through a casual phase.

libertychick · 10/03/2013 15:24

Anni can you share the Hush code?

Annianni · 10/03/2013 15:30

I think it was PREVIEW13 Liberty but I think it expired at the end of Feb (sorry)

Have you had a Google?

Annianni · 10/03/2013 15:31

I like those shoes MrsR, i'd just wear them with jeans because that's all I ever wear :o

Decameron · 10/03/2013 15:35

Queen, the code is VIP, sorry I wasn't clear. Give it a try. Also, REDFD20 gives 20% off but you have to call them with that one. I'm tall too and I find their dresses good.

Anni, would also love the Hush code if that's ok.

Liberty, you are owed a present.

MrsRadicchio, I'd wear the shoes with capris. Not sure they'd work with denim?

DD1 just made me a card and wrote "Mumee I luf u". Awww.

winefairy · 10/03/2013 15:42

Running in to say I came within a whisker of buying those shoes last week MrsR. They are fabulous and a total bargain as can't find them for anything less than full price elsewhere but the sizing advice put me off. I am a large 6 or small 7 and MW said in the blurb they run 'slightly' large and you 'may' want to size down. It was too non committal for me and my funny sized feet. Love them though. I was quite gutted.

I would wear them with jeans for the same reason as Anni Grin or failing that cigarette pants.

libertychick · 10/03/2013 16:05

Thanks Dec - I think so too! And so awww of your DD1.

QueenCadbury · 10/03/2013 16:22

liberty at least you won't have to do anything for Father's Day Grin

dec I'm not especially tall (just 5'5) but have a long body and short stumpy legs! How long does the code last for? Not sure I can justify ordering a summer dress just yet.

Same as the others I'm a jeans wearer so wouldn't know what else to put your shoes with mrsR. Do the leopard print boots go with jeans? Not sure either about the fur jacket but maybe jeans would make it less bear like. Can you see a theme developing here Grin

Decameron · 10/03/2013 16:35

The 20% off code is until 1st April, I think, not sure about the VIP code but they frequently have discounts.

I also wear jeans most days unless it's hot - easiest with toddlers.

carrie74 · 10/03/2013 17:08

Happy Mother's Day all. Sorry can't contribute more frequently, you're all so fats, can't keep up.

Anni not sure on drawstring, but think Hush biker v nice.

Foxy outfit today sounds fab.

Bought these yesterday totally on a whim (was actually going to check out the £7.99 slouchy Ts, but wasn't convinced: too thin for me): pinterest.com/pin/283023157804769504/. Feel v rock chick in them, but LURVE them. And only £15!

Office shoes have arrived (pinterest.com/pin/283023157804754502/), and although I really like how they look, they're quite pinchy just trying on, so think they'll be going back (but have to blooming pay for delivery AND returns. WTF?).

Since seeing Foxy's biker jacket, am looking for something myself. I want something unstructured but which will hold its shape, and quite like this from Asos pinterest.com/pin/283023157804772028/, but also quite taken with this from Me&Em (whose quality I adore) www.meandem.com/collection/outer-layers/knit-fit-cardigan/products_id/1314/cPath/876_884_936, but try to steer clear of black on the whole (and the gold wouldn't be good for me either). I like the look of the Next one, but don't trust it'd look that good all season.

Any other contenders?

carrie74 · 10/03/2013 17:08

FAST, obvs lol.

shopafrolic · 10/03/2013 18:32

God! You're all so quick. Am running bath for DS so will check links later and get back to everyone. Especially on outfit suggestions as you've all been great to me!
DS just saw the Cameron Diaz Tag Heuer advert, said "Mummy!" And then kissed the page. I'll take that! I'm not blonde, nor do I look like CD but I'll take it! Back in an hour or so.....

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2013 18:46

Ha take it Shop!

This may be the best bargain I've seen for a while, so wish I had bought it! I&I petrol cashmere. Reminds me of the Great Petrol Blue hunt Shop.

Liberty the full fat cappuccino and danish pastry with your dd sounds lovely.

Decam love that dress, really pretty colour.

MrsR go for it, but quickly they look like they are selling out. They would look great with skinnies and cigarette pants.

Anni casual phase sounds good.

Carrie great buy! Not sure on bikers. I like the Rag&Bone one which isn't much good really - as sold out I think. Will ponder what else is out there.

Decameron · 10/03/2013 19:01

Ah, that's sweet of your DS, Shop.

That's a lovely jumper, *Marsha.

Carrie, really like the Me & Em cardigan and buy a lot from them but I returned that as it has no buttons.

carrie74 · 10/03/2013 19:21

Mrs R, I really like those shoes, and I'd consider them a crossover piece from work smart to cropped jeans casual. Great price!

Got a few bits for the childer with the Gap 30% off, including sale items, and then they gave me an extra 10% at the till! Got pantsx3 & joggers for DS, T, hoodie, Capri pants and shorts for DD, all for £50!! I don't think I could have beaten that even in Florida! Grin

Interesting on jacket Decam. Sticking point is black for me at mo, but I can see no closure bugging too. New contenders include the cream Hush one, and this from Atterley Rd (but probs more than I wanted to spend, ESP for polyester and acrylic www.atterleyroad.com/cara-boucle-knit-biker-jacket-3.html
