Oh they are both lovely winefairy. Yes I'd love some elegant baby boot cut with heels. Can imagine VB does this very well.

Annianni · 09/03/2013 10:58

I'm wearing Hudson crop jeans, white gap tee, taupe gap cashmere slouchy cardigan and grey m&s slippers.

The electric's off while dh tinkers in the attic (soon to be ds1's bedroom)

Annianni · 09/03/2013 11:09

I've taken a risk buying some unworn silver gigi's from ebay. They are half a size bigger than the farfetch ones.

I got then for £21-75 plus postage.

Sleepwhenidie · 09/03/2013 11:47

I am wearing pj's and dressing gown...feel horrendous Sad. Have to get something else on soon to get ds1 to a birthday party - great weekend for DH to be away!

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 11:55

Oh Sleep Sad. Sending soothing vibes, good luck at the party. Hopefully a drop and go. Or perhaps too young.

Anni well done great bargain.

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2013 12:38

I'm in my typical uniform; t-shirt, skinnies, high tops. In this case the components are Helmut grey tee, black Goldisign leggings and cobalt converse. I do wonder how bored you must all get with me wearing the same thing every non-working day!

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 13:05

Nah Amber at least you have work outfits. .

Well I have been mixing it up with interviews (still looking for perfect one month-ish project, all have turned out to be very intensive FT things). Love a chance to dress differently, however I have so few work clothes it's laughable. Manage to cobble an outfit together from surprising, disparate buys.

I'm really enjoying wearing the MNV orange today, but I know I'm going to wear it loads so may well feature a lot.

Decameron · 09/03/2013 13:18

I just get a trim so in and out, Marsha. Hair is still growing back after losing a lot when DD2 was born and she is 2 in June! Spent a fortune on Kerastase so that will have to be my mother's day present.

I was flicking through an interiors magazine and thought of you when I saw this rug advertised, Amber.

Good buy on the Gigis, Anni.

AmberNectarine · 09/03/2013 13:22

Oh I love that decam and our lounge does need recarpeting. Do you reckon DH will go for it? It's only cheap...

Sleepwhenidie · 09/03/2013 13:28

Ha! I tried to convince DH we needed a rug from there before DS1 was born (I was pg). Luckily he had a bit of foresight, can you imagine the potty training, frubes, crumbs stress involved. I've since learnt only to go extravagant housewise with hard, wipeable things or light fittings, they are the only thing (mostly) out of reach Grin!

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 13:31

Oh yes we have an off-white cotton sofa from Viaduct .

Decameron · 09/03/2013 13:36

I've just bought a cream rug, I knew it was silly but we have raspberry sofas which are hard to match up. If I get a year out of it, I'll be doing well.

shopafrolic · 09/03/2013 13:48

Beautiful top winefairy and great EBay find Anni
I'm wearing my fake boyfriend 7FAM jeans with Hudson boots and A&W striped camel and black sweater. We have BIL and partner staying this weekend so have all been to Wagamamas and had a mooch round town. DH and I are off to the cinema tonight (we need a distraction).
Winefairy I've replied to your emails, not sure if some are going astray? Let me know.....
Get well soon sleep

libertychick · 09/03/2013 14:02

Gorgeous Baum Und Pferdgarten top Winefairy - I have not heard of that label before ? another one to explore!

Wow to the Hummingbird rug ? we are having a deck installed and new fences so not spending anything more on the house for now. All current rugs from Ikea apart from a lovely 100 yr old + Turkish one which stands up very well to all sorts of abuse.

Today I am wearing Monsoon grey velvet skinnies, dark blue Gap fine knit merino jumper layered over white vest, scarf w v pale pink background with fuchia, bright green and navy flowers from Oasis, silver jewellery, and added
this jacket and these when I was out earlier. In slippers now, glass of wine poured, knitting in hand and DD asleep, ready for a relaxing afternoon.

BrandyAlexander · 09/03/2013 14:23

Afternoon all! So I went into R&B today and tried on the navy two shoes. The Muse mid heel court shoes in patent were okay but not inspiring. They didn't have the 5th ave cobalt in store but they had it in black so tried it for shape and wear and it was beautiful. So. I have ordered the cobalt so I can try at home. Just as I had decided, I saw that they do the mid heel in suede so I have ordered that in to try as well. If the cobalt does go with navy dresses then that would be great as the shoe itself feels amazing.

Marsha I have quite a few Choos but I think the quality has gone down and they don't last well if worn by people who aren't chauffered everywhere!

As a complete aside.... I love these to look at.

Sleep you poor thing. I hope you feel better x

i had one of those mornings where nothing i put on felt right, was yucky. tried the MNV jumper but didn't feel right. am now in indigo goldsigns, coral vest, charcoal cashmere sweater as i lounge on sofa waiting for rugby to kick off.

went into town with DH this morning (my mum is here so she stayed at home with the littlies) in same jeans but with baukjen khaki super long top, choc brown leather jacket (all saints), blush star scarf and clay ash trainers. plus campomaggi cross body bag. felt a bit meh then too, maybe i'm just off colour today.

didn't buy anything but i tried on lots of pretty ballerinas and the gigis in harvey nicks so i now know what size i am. almost bought a denim jacket in zara but it's not on the list so decided to think about it

BrandyAlexander · 09/03/2013 14:32

Liberty love the jacket and beautiful top winefairy. Those nudes look good.

Today, I am in Gap long and lean jeans (basically bootcut), desigual top and Primark black waterfall cardigan. Aquamarine cocktail ring, 10 silver bangles from India (I buy jewellery as a souvenir when on hols) and a watch disguised as a bangle (from Xoox in Singapore). Was wearing boots and coat earlier, now wearing lovely cable slippers.

I want Liberty's afternoon. I have to do a bit of work reviewing a report and am going to do more decluttering and reorganising of the wardrobes.

Shop have a good time at the cinema. We haven't been for about 7 years! Do see many films on long haul to Aus, pretty much all of them. Albeit on a tiny little screen (not quite the same). What are you seeing?

Foxy dh complimented me on the mnv this morn, as did yours the other day, of course I took great pride in telling him how much it cost and from what originally, because I knew it would be a welcome change. Well done on the thinking about the Zara!

Love those R&Bs Novice, I'm get through shoes quickly as it is, Choos would not last at all for me I'm sure.

So was playing trains with ds2, he holds my back pocket and we are um a train, and he ripped my only indigo skinnies! Quite a big rip alongside the pocket. So I'll either get fixed at a place that does that, or will need to replace. Whoops. Seem to remember lots of good deals on indigo skinnies but can't find any today.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 14:36

Yes Liberty your afternoon sounds lovely! Are you knitting for your dc?

BrandyAlexander · 09/03/2013 14:39

Oh dear Marsha!Shock

By the way can you remind me which one is the mnv jumper? Didn't buy so I have forgotten.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 14:42

The American Vintage cashmere one. A great buy, found by Shop and Foxy, four of us have it. Great deal from the good ol Style Passport (sadly defunct).

libertychick · 09/03/2013 14:43

Marsha I am knitting the same sodding jumper for her that I talked about probably two MNV threads ago! It has an enormous hood and on small needles but I determined she is wearing it for Easter. Once that is done I will start on the jumper I have been planning for my self.

Lovely colours in the top Novice and I love that you style Primark with your gorgeous ring! DD is not playing ball with the afternoon plans and I have just spent 20 mins singing to her. Current fave is Billy Joel 'Piano Man' and is of some concern that she knows the lines 'John at the bar is a friend of mine and gives me my drinks for free'....woops.

MarshaBrady · 09/03/2013 14:44

lol *Liberty it took me such a long time to do a jumper for a 1 then 2 year old that I daren't go bigger!

BrandyAlexander · 09/03/2013 14:57

Thanks Marsha. It is beautiful isn't it. Just had a quick look at your wardrobe again. Love all the colours.

Thanks Liberty, am loving desigual at the moment though only discounted as they're not cheap. I am totally into wearing "best" jewellery all the time. i will happily accessorise a £20 Primarks outfit with £20k of jewelry. Grin

Marsha we're off to see some rubbish action thing with Mark Wahlberg and Catherine ZJ. It was that or Les Mis. And since the clue is in the title with Les Mis we thought we'd avoid given the moods we're both in! Grin
R&B options sound good Novice
Foxy those days are very familiar to me but your outfits sound lovely - I'm sure you look fab
Liberty lol about the knitting, remember I'm placing an order after you've done yours? :)
