This has just arrived from Atterley Road and it's really nice and very me.

It's viscose which isn't great but it looks lovely with my Hudson baby bootcuts and a plain white vest. And for £25, i'll give it a go.

Atterley Rd have it sized as 10 or 12, (i'm a 14) but Great Plains have it shown as s/m and m/l.
It's also cheaper on AR... so their size 12 is actually a m/l.

GP have it on the model with the ribbed part at the bottom, AR have it the other way round.
I've tried it both ways and either works. But it's just below my bum, not down to may knees like on the models.

Back to my ironing now... my life is so rock & roll right now...

Annianni · 01/03/2013 11:25

MY knees...must learn to proof read.

foxysocks · 01/03/2013 11:32

need help! outnet have reserved the last pair of anthracite goldsigns for me, have two hours to decide. would mean I could throw out the pale grey gap monstrosities. spent the school run dreaming up outfits with them rotfl. good buy? it's only 1st march and that's a massive chunk of my budget gone for the month if I get them. ARGH am conflicted. useful, definitely, cost per wear will be good but limits me massively till april.

it's these www.theoutnet.com/intl/product/193399

Sleepwhenidie · 01/03/2013 11:35

Who was looking for an inexpensive cobalt bag? Saw a great one, quite large, shopper style, suede with leather panels on sides, in Zara this morning, about £70, v nice. Can't find it on website though Sad

Sleepwhenidie · 01/03/2013 11:39

And before anyone asks, I was taking stuff back! Also took back the leather skirt to tkmaxx, managed to leave with just a cute dinosaur costume for ds2 Grin. Sleep deprived (as per) and grumpy this morning, just getting a coffee and off to collect ds2 from nursery.

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 11:44

Foxy go for it, you can always return them. If you are thinking of outfits then it's worth a try. They are really lovely. See if you love them in rl, if not it's ten pounds or something in delivery charges which is not too bad.

(Also impressed with the outnet for holding, good on them)

Sleepwhenidie · 01/03/2013 11:45

Anyone seen the pics of the Balenciaga (A Wang) show at PFW in the press this morning? So beautiful...

winefairy · 01/03/2013 11:46

QueenBOO Sorry for the inadvertent slander of your Anthro jacket, suggesting it may end up on the sale rail Grin. I absolutely love it, it's just I know I can get carried away and adore something that everyone else greets with a Hmm. Not that I care one bit. And that jacket is faultless...you have just confirmed it. Anyway, I'm planning to wander into town tomorrow and have a look at it too so let me know how you get on.

Grumpy I have that Zara jacket. Of course I do...it's quilted and available to buy! Grin It's been on all the blogs lately though, hasn't it? And I'll second The Reiss Ross jeans. They are fantastic. Just a shame my thighs don't lend themselves to colour or I would have tried those too.

foxysocks · 01/03/2013 11:48

£6 delivery then they pick up the returns free I think marsha? that's the way it used to work, haven't ordered from them in a year or so. guess you are right.

I don't know how likely it is to get goldsigns cheaper. was looking at the white ones on anna but don't think the cut is right for me, plus I won't wear for a few more months and it's £8 delivery! fark. plus you pay returns, so what another £8 for trackable?! that's almost as much as the AV cashmere!

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 11:52

God I know, really gets my goat! This pay £8 for delivery then lug down to PO and pay another £8 for returns. DO THE DHL people. Man / woman to door.

Oh yes have no idea what the outnet charge, I always assumed the worst. But returns are free so if only £6 then that's great.

And the smaller the cost of an item the more I begrudge the delivery charge!
So tight Grin, but I really appreciate the DHL!

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 11:53

Sleep is A Wang at Balenciaga?? That makes me so pleased for some reason! Will check it out.

foxysocks · 01/03/2013 11:58

oh no, hang on.

"THE OUTNET charges customers a small fee for each order that is returned to us, however we do refund your original delivery cost from when you placed your order.
The amount we charge and refund varies depending on the destination of your shipment as shown below.
Destination Return fee deducted from your refund Amount We Refund
United Kingdom £8.00 £5.95"

so they refund outbound shipping but deduct £8. so essentially £2 to return. i think, am not finding this info very clear.

still dithering.

would love a cobalt bag but think i'd like something quite small. queenc did your cobalt zatchel arrived? is it a keeper?

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 11:59

Anni, Grumpy great shopping!

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 12:00

I like that cardigan anni - how tall are you? I'm a short arse (barely 5'2") and always worry that they'll drown me, even though I love that drapey/slouchy look. I've got a nice dark cocoa batwing from Cos that's lovely and loose but short - only hangs past my bum because knee-length/longer would be a big no-no.

MarshaBrady · 01/03/2013 12:47

Shop not the best for your brief, but am looking.

No buttons unfortunately Theory cotton blazer.

Annianni · 01/03/2013 12:57

I'm 5ft 7 Grumpy. I love that drapey look.

Thanks Shop, I did suggest that to dh last night. But our house (for now) has those ugly hideous storage heaters, which give off a dry heat, so it sat on one overnight.

I say order them Foxy, you'd get more wear out of them than white at the moment.

Annianni · 01/03/2013 12:59

grumpy, Atterley Rd is free delivery and returns (i think) so worth a try?

winefairy · 01/03/2013 13:00

Anni That cardigan is very, very tempting. And a bargain. Damn!

winefairy · 01/03/2013 13:02

And I had never heard of Atterley Road so thank you for the link. Love a shop with free delivery and returns. Makes such a difference.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 01/03/2013 13:18

Bought a Maison Scotch T from Atterley Rd recently at a much-reduced price. I had lusted after it in local boutique when full-price, was worth waiting for as reduced to £19 from £59. Think I may give cardi a go - at £25 with free delivery etc nothing to lose, really...

shopafrolic · 01/03/2013 13:37

I love Atterley Road.
Marsha that's it! No buttons required, just that in a darker colour - navy, dark grey or green / khaki......

Ahhh! Did a post that went walkies! Here are my buys from my US trip. Absolutely love my buys, most of which were from Ann Taylor, which is a US staple retailer but not known here. Its unheard of for me to have time to shop on a business trip so I am even more pleased!

So first in this seasons colours, this orange side tie top. Don't know why the black pinned! Its a great top really flattering, and importantly for me in petite (what I love most about shopping in the US is that petite is easily available).

Then got this sheath dress which is a copy of a DvF that I was looking at, so really pleased. Again in petite so all starts and ends in the right place.

Then this gorgeous green dress. Doesn't look anything special hanging up and not sure the model does it justice either. I am not even sure how I picked it up but soooo flattering.

With an eye on holiday next month, I got these shorts. The fit is amazing. Again very flattering.

Last, the wholly grail of trousers that fit without looking I have pooped in them! This beauty were petite cut which are 30" and perfect for me.

Then nipped into Saks and got this Armani Collezioni dress which is very flattering.

Last, hopped into Sephora and bought a few things from Nars. Fell in love with their cosmetics from previous trip to the US in January.

Just putting all my lovely purchases away now :)
