Why are skinny fit jeans so popular?

They are always to long in the crotch, to tight round the kness and leave a big gap round the waist, and it's like they cant decide if they want to be low-rise or high-waisted so they sit awkwardly in the middle.

HanneHolm · 03/02/2013 16:46

HanneHolm · 03/02/2013 16:46

Liberty, take your time and sit up at a table. Moisturise your cuticles with something rich or oily, but just your cuticles, not the bed of the nail. After you've painted your nails any that went on to your cuticle should scrape off easily.

twentythirteen · 03/02/2013 17:18

Oh, and of course spend whatever time needed to push your cuticles back. I've got into the habit of doing this most days so it's not a big chore.

Meglet · 03/02/2013 17:26

kristina I've been single for 4yrs and still have a ruthless bikini wax. It's fresher and I'm naturally a bit of a yeti - so off it all comes Smile.

abbyfromoz · 03/02/2013 17:46

I have dry hands since having DD. this started with all the washing/sterilising. I now use gloves when washing and have tried many creams...from l'occitane to e45... Nothing works long term. :-( any miracle cure?

feralgirl · 03/02/2013 17:55

Marriednotdead Primer is just like undercoat. I think foundation goes on better and stays put for longer. I had some Bobby Brown daily moisturiser and primer which was fantastic but I can't afford any more so now I've just got Rimmel which is, I think, almost as good. I have stopped buying very expensive foundation as DD keeps squirting it out all over the floor Angry but, with primer, it doesn't seem to matter so much that I'm using the cheapo stuff.

persimmon · 03/02/2013 17:56

Dotty2 - put a little lip balm on your lips (a teeny bit) and spread it over them. Then dot on your lippie and use your finger to spread it around. Blot with a tissue and you should have a natural looking mouth with a bot o'glam.

persimmon · 03/02/2013 17:56

bit o'glam! Although you may also have a glam bot.

Voldemortified · 03/02/2013 18:01

For all makeup related queries, you can do no better than to look up Sali Hughes' videos on YouTube. She writes a column for the Guardian and does these excellent how-to vids with lots of product recommendations. She is awesome. I love her.

Did I mention I love her?

My armpits have been vastly improved by epilating. It does hurt, but they don't look stubbly any more. My legs still need doing every day though - will that get better with time?

cocolepew · 03/02/2013 19:36

To tie a scarf, so its not flapping around.. Wrap it around once, with the ends the same length. Put one end through the bit that is around your neck. Before pulling it through make a loop and thread the other end through the loop , then tighten.

This makes perfect sense to me btw, Grin.

cocolepew · 03/02/2013 19:36

Why have I suddenly got big sore spots, all over my chin? They ache.

googietheegg · 03/02/2013 19:46

Jumpingjack - one night a week sleep with a thick layer of sudocrem under your armpits. Works a treat!

berri · 03/02/2013 19:53

abby I recently tried the Aveda Hand Relief cream - I've had really dry hands for ages and also tried every brand out there...this is the best by a mile! A bit pricey so see if you can get a sample first to see if you like it perhaps? Sinks in easily and makes such a difference.

coco apparently spots on the chin are hormonal, according to a dermatologist I asked once. I get them a lot, all in the same area. Salicylic acid helps a tiny bit but I'd be interested to see any other advice for these kinds of spots too!

cafecito · 03/02/2013 19:58

abby - I have same problem (get eczema & contact dermatitis too) and found Aveeno lotion is fab. Can also use it on my 6mo DD which has cleared up her dry skin way better than E45 or Oilatum imo.
