I just realised.... Did NoddyHolder come onto the thread just to have a pop at me about the CdG top? Confused Grin

blondambition · 11/02/2013 17:28

Hi all, it's blondassassin in an updated form! Thought my old name sounded a bit 'fierce', which I most definitely am not! Smile It started as blindassassin which is one of my favourite books

AmberNectarine · 11/02/2013 17:34

I've got money burning a hole in my pocket at the moment - my eBay listing finished last night and I am £365 up. Which just happens to be the price of these or a few things from my Whistles wishlist... But I'm supposed I be saving for this. Must. Resist.

BrandyAlexander · 11/02/2013 17:41

Hi Amber! Resist resist and get the bag. The shoes are gorgeous though. [Not much help]Grin

Hi BlondeAmbition, fierce isn't a bad thing! Am keen to see what Shop has to say because those look good don't they?Smile

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 18:11

Blonde love the new name.

Amber the bag! It's divine.

OP posts:
blondambition · 11/02/2013 18:23

Definitely the bag Amber. We are probably months away from sandal wearing opportunities!

BrandyAlexander · 11/02/2013 18:49

I have a post for liberty.......

this totally unsuitable work shirt is also known as what the bleep was I thinking! See.....I told you I was only one purchase away from another fashion disaster Grin

Mrsap · 11/02/2013 19:02

Amber, You know it has to be the bag. You just know!

shopafrolic · 11/02/2013 19:51

Novice I thought that - ignore
Amber fab shoes but not too much more saving and you can have that gorgeous bag! Wait wait wait!!
Marsha wine aisle not bread aisle Grin
Sleep good idea re: lower cost white jeans.... Ponders
Blonde love the new name. Thanks for the breton link. I love the Joseph one but two things i'm not sure on. One that it's white not cream, but the other is the fact that it says it is dry clean only. What I can't figure out is where the silk is? Do you think it's the zip bits? If so perhaps it would wash?
So two contenders - Joseph and Ralph Lauren. Trust me to want £100+ versions!!!
Am wondering if a trip to Bicester might find me the RL one a a little less £?? But it's quite a trip if they don't have it. Sorry all, this is getting a little too much isn't it? Spot the fussy cow!

pickledsiblings · 11/02/2013 20:09

Shop, a cheaper breton option. Don't think it's been linked to already.

Amber, I never would have guessed that you were the money burning a whole in your pocket type of girl Wink. Spend it if you are sure that the bag will be yours by hook or by crook (Val. day in a few days know). You'll be getting freebies like Wendy soon enough...

blondambition · 11/02/2013 20:12

M Dutti for Shop.

Not ticking all the boxes as stripes only on some of it and 3/4 sleeves but nice heavy cotton, unusual zip detail at shoulder, more tomato red than blue-toned (good for Autumns) AND 1/4 of the price of Joseph and RL ones! I might have just sold it to myself Grin.

AmberNectarine · 11/02/2013 20:12

pickled no, I saw my V. Day present get delivered, not big enough. Plus we are 'doing something' which is my main present, and I'm fresh out of birthdays so I think I'm going l have to stump up myself. You're all right of course, I do really need that silver bag. It shall be mine on 1 March.

blue2711 · 11/02/2013 20:20

Hello, liking the links and chat!

Queen Boo, I am a huge TopShop Jamies fan and they come in white for the first time this summer which makes me v happy. I am 5ft 1 too and they are the perfect length for me, not cropped, no wrinkling. They're very skinny, lots of stretch, high rise and usually properly thick denim so hopefully no knicker showing. (I always wear nude thongs under white denim in case though. Sorry if TMI...)

Blonde that's one of my favourite novels too! Nice to see you again.

Bill, I have that tube skirt in black and grey and mine say machine wash at 30 on the label. I've worn them both to death and they look good as new.

The bag, Amber!

Drywhiteplease · 11/02/2013 20:47

Grin Dry

Hey Blue!

Shop I haven't contributed yet to the Breton Hunt! Here's mine. Vince. Sorry is a too expensive version and I can't remember the criteria. But am throwing it into the mix.

Click on red stripes version.

Drywhiteplease · 11/02/2013 21:06

these white jeans any good? Apologies if already linked. Since amber mentioned the Goldsign frontier cropped straight I have developed a bit of an obsession, getting pretty desperate à la shop with her Breton......they appear completely sold out WORLDWIDE in a 27 vintage denim blue wash Sad

AmberNectarine · 11/02/2013 21:09

I'm getting the bag. Chill!

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 21:20

I think I want a Balenciaga.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 11/02/2013 21:24

Marsha I clicked in your link in a mild panic when I saw the word Vince but luckily (as I can't afford it!) I'm not keen on the dropped shoulder.
I like the off brief M Dutti so have added that to Pin alongside the Joseph and RL while I ponder. Thanks all, I really am very grateful for your input. Please shout if I can hunt for anything for you.
Amber what were you selling to be that we'll up on EBay? I thought I'd done well last week to make £106 but then some bu@@er hasn't paid me £41 of it!

AmberNectarine · 11/02/2013 21:36

Oh just some stuff in the wrong colours, couple of pairs of faux leathers now I have the real deal and a few things that are too big as they were bought post pg.

Drywhiteplease · 11/02/2013 21:57

hopefully thanks to your blog I didn't buy
this
But I just ordered

Thanks for the saving!

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 21:59

Dry that's a shame about the Goldsign. Will keep an eye out.

I really want vintage wash this spring too.

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 22:08

Ha Shop, I feel disloyal now Grin.

Might have to get a big one so really different (one day).
