Thank you to whoever recommended TKMaxx for premium denim (amber?). Got a pair of 7 FAM Roxanne's yesterday for £50! Love the look and the quality. I am wearing them today with my new shirt and jumper.

In fact, yesterday turned into quite a spree as I also got this dress. You can see the shape better here. Then I found this so-soft leather jacket which will go with lots. The dress and jacket are for a get together with some old friends, but should also get lots of other use.

Evening all! Success! Thanks to QueenBoo, I managed to get my cardigan. Yippee! I was out the whole day and came back convinced that I had lost the chance as there were only two left when QueenBoo sent it to me. She managed to find it in LA of all places and in my size too. I am trying not to think about the fact that i was there 4 weeks ago on a business trip. this is so sad but i put it onto my own credit card rather than the usual joint credit card to save dh even more stress when he opens this months statement

Shop, you did start off looking at navy Breton, I thin. Is this commes des garçons any good?

I looked at the Bella and definitely falls in the beautiful but I would look horrid in it category! The benefit of age is definitely the ability to admire from afar

I could do with some jeans advice. Specifically white jeans, which I've never owned before. Annoyingly I tried on the perfect pair in Liberty in 2011 but we were TTC and I did a deal with myself that I'd POAS before buying anything with a waistband.

Needless to say, I was pregnant and of course I can't remember the brand of the jeans I loved. Gah, should have bought them anyway.

What I need is something pretty high-waisted, completely opaque (can't be doing with my knicks on display) but with a bit of stretch. And which will make me look a size smaller

Does anyone have any tried and tested to fit the bill?

I actually love you all for your efforts on the Breton front. Someone else linked to the SeaSalt one on another thread too Liberty and I might actually try that as it is a) cheaper! And b) cream rather than white based. I also like the CdG one thanks Novice and I'm so pleased you got your cardigan! I am still trying to track down Amber's RL one in a medium though if anyone spots it.

Queen I'm going to try MiH as they typically have thicker denim. But cropped probably isn't what you're after. Will have a look around.
