Yeah, Bonsoir, she lives in Paris.

libertychick · 06/02/2013 21:45

Grin novice

Annianni · 06/02/2013 21:48

Liberty both my ds's like a cuddle. Unfortunately ds2 also likes to hump me at the same time. He makes appreciative moans and groans whilst he's doing it.
I'm hoping he grows out of it before he starts school :o

Yes please to the blog Amber.

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 21:53

Lol Anni

I have just choked on my tea Anni - hilarious

Drywhiteplease · 06/02/2013 22:12

amber please do it....I'm addicted to fashion blogs. Yours would be fab.
My DS is a 14 yr old 6ft rugby forward.....I have to stand on a chair or wrestle him (he wouldn't dare fight back!!) to get a hug once in a while!!!!!!

shopafrolic · 06/02/2013 22:16

I wonder if you guys can help? I'm after something like this
breton but in red and cream.
It needs to be natural fibres, but could be a heavy weight cotton rather than knit. If anyone sees one can they let me know?
Ta muchly!

BrandyAlexander · 06/02/2013 22:23

That's a beautiful top shop, and I don't even "do" Breton.

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 22:25

That is lovely, the whole outfit is really nice. Will have a look around.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 06/02/2013 22:29

Thought you'd all flame me for continually mentioning Bretons! I love the whole look. May have to get that one if I can't find a red version. I like the fact it's long sleeved...... Will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks guys!

QueenBOObread · 06/02/2013 22:33

YMC red Breton

QueenBOObread · 06/02/2013 22:34

I have this: so Breton it's Rouge

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 22:34

Never flame over a Breton. Ah and it's with the MiH Paris, they'll be mine in off white. Love them.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 06/02/2013 22:39

Thanks QueenBOO first one is a bit too unstructured for me (and possibly a bit too short). Yours is lovely (I think that's what encouraged my hunt) but I can't do 3/4 sleeves. Sorry, I'm dreadfully fussy.
Marsha those are white though aren't they? Or am I going colour blind? Do they do off white?

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 22:42

They do off white. They are white ones, reminded me how much I liked the style.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 22:43

Soz was a bit confusing!

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 06/02/2013 22:44

QueenBoo I love both of those outfits....the sort of stuff (cheaper) I live in.

Gingersnap88 · 06/02/2013 23:12

Hello everyone, am de-lurking to say how much I enjoy reading this thread, even if it is very tempting!

Shop- Jigsaw usually do a cream & red Breton, I have a few but they seem muted this season. I did stumble across this the other day though: www.style-passport.com/shop/armor-lux-3-4-cuff-breton-top--1747-e-e?utm_source=Shopping&utm_medium=Organic&utm_campaign=Google_Shopping

And for the record, I've always thought you ladies as welcoming and very funny! Anyway, I'll hush now Smile am slowly enjoying my wardrobe again after living in stretchy things after having DD. it's been difficult to find myself again, and adapt to new role and body but have found lots of support on here. I'm even contemplating the Bowies...!

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2013 23:25

Hi Gingersnap welcome aboard Smile. Bowies sound great. A few around on sale lately.

OP posts:
McNally · 06/02/2013 23:31

I feel your pain Liberty on the paying for delivery and return frustration. At least the top I returned today wasn't masquerading as being anything close to natural fibres though. Had to laugh at the cashmere care instructions for your cardie!

Love your Breton QueenBOO.

McNally · 06/02/2013 23:36

Hi Gingersnap. I'm still in post-pregnancy stretchy things more days than I should!

Gingersnap88 · 06/02/2013 23:58

While we are on the topic of cashmere, does any one have any wisdom as to how I can get chocolate out of my Crumpet dress? Christmas disaster at the hands of DH and DD! Tried washing but has only faded the damage.

I took part in a Brora survey and was rewarded with a little money off so treated myself today to some wrist warmers in Emerald and some new nursing bras (dull).

Bowies totally not my style but love them on other people! I am horribly girly / not cool (stuck being a bit boho Blush) does that confession get me struck off?

MarshaBrady · 07/02/2013 05:55

All styles here. I like them I others too but they wouldn't fit in with what I've got already.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 07/02/2013 05:58

On others... Too early, not sure on choc on cashmere. Other than warm soapy hand wash.

OP posts:
Mominatrix · 07/02/2013 06:38

Ginger: I'd spot treat with washing up liquid on a soft toothbrush. It has always worked for me.

Amber, definitely do it! You have the energy and style to make a real go of it.

Today, going to wear 2 different outfits: during the day, my comfortable grey whistles pull on dress with this exact shawl, black tights and anthracite moto boots. Tonight, my Reiss tuxedo with this worn as a shirt under, this clutch, and this bracelet, with black pointy stilettos. I know, verving on too many studs, but this is currently my favourite outfit to wear out.

Have a lovely day everyone!
