I bought it cod (do I ever need much persuading on cosmetics Grin). I'm "clair". I like it - will last ages as only a tiny bit is needed, lovely light coverage.

I also treated myself to Chanel's blanc universale - a skin illuminator that got great reviews in Times Style mag - it is gorgeous.

Carmenere · 14/04/2006 13:21

It is indeed fab Cod - I am clair too and it is just about spot on, it has an excellent no make up quality to it. What kind of powder does anyone think goes well over it?

cod · 14/04/2006 14:46

flutterbee · 15/04/2006 14:00

precision eye definer in black with smudger

shellybelly · 15/04/2006 15:01

ok I'm converted, used it today and it is luuuvvrrrrley and i used a touch of benefit powder on top Grin

cod · 15/04/2006 15:19

do you look radiant?

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2006 15:20

Ok I have been lurking on this thread and yesterday I went to try the stuff. It smells funny and the lady that put it on me was a really scary beige colour. It made my face itch round the edges and when I scratched it dusty stuff fell off. Is this what grown-ups' make-up is all about? Being beige and dusty and smelling funny?

I don't know if I looked any better, but you could see I had it on. Did she do it wrong?

cod · 15/04/2006 15:20

oh fgs franny
try and be over 14

Wink

did oyu lok at yourslef in a mirror

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2006 15:23

I was trying. This was my attempt to be a mature groomed woman. Yes I looked in a mirror. I looked beige. And dusty.

cod · 15/04/2006 15:24

betetr htan pink and blothcy perchance

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2006 15:25

Hmm.

being pink and blotchy is free, though.

mesenfantsmaman · 15/04/2006 15:26

right I have a question about this stuff, I am freckly and have an olive complexion, very rarely wear foundation as it looks false due to my freckles. So can i have some or do I need to stay in foundation obscurity forever?

cod · 15/04/2006 15:27

i think tis quite sheer

go adn get a try

mesenfantsmaman · 15/04/2006 15:28

I think I may, need a facial pick me up from time to time. Find make up counters very off putting though

cod · 15/04/2006 15:29

i find honesty is the best policy re make up stands
go and tell the woamn oyu find them a bit sacery and you arent a normal make up person#
t heyll take pity on you adn my bung in some freebies

mesenfantsmaman · 15/04/2006 15:31

yay freebies would be good , I will do this next week, will probably have to remortgage to fund but in desperate need of a pick me up!

shellybelly · 15/04/2006 15:34

i think it does make my skin more radiant and it gets top marks for the being the most natural looking and feeling foundation Grin

mesenfantsmaman · 15/04/2006 15:37

just been looking at the website, think I'm going to try it, if it doesn't suit my freckles then my sister can have it for her birthday Grin

shellybelly · 15/04/2006 15:40

franny did the women put the right stuff on you, i did't find it dusty iyswim infact if anything my skin is more dewy (ooh got a sample of energising morning cream from clarins counter, good stuff) maybe she put way too much on and your skin reacted??

cod · 15/04/2006 15:41

no in fatc not dusty at all
n more slimey
