To lose weight, look better, feel better, be fitter?

Drank about a gallon of water before I went to bed and did soak my right foot in warm water for a few minutes (the dog was playing with the other one) - and that may have helped. Made a few trips to the loo during the night, predictably BUT

Scrummy scrambled eggs with onion, tomatoes and chilli chicken this morning, washed down with a mug of decaff coffee (no sugar).

And I managed to wash my hair.

Working for the rest of the day.

(did I mention I've not had any toe cramps?)

Back on the road to virtue, drink water and eat sensibly are on cards for today.I'm in work soon, so having a chillaxing morning.

Week plan is
Mon foot scrub and moisturise
Tue face mask, eye brow pluck
Wed exercise
Thur fake tan to perk me up
Fri pedicure and more exercise

Healthy eating and water consumption included in the above.

Thank you Karbea. I definitely agree about the diet and mood link. Reasonable weekend. Did ripped in 30 level 2 workout on Friday and then a 10k run on Saturday. Running really improves my mood.
The eating has also been more regular. Wholemeal roll and ham salad for lunch yesterday. Fish paella for dinner and some fruit in the evening on Saturday. Lunch today was veg soup. Tonight we are having pasta with meatballs in a veg sauce and salad.
I have cut and filed nails so they are all same length. Will paint nice blood red shade today. Toes already done.
I have been through wardrobe ensuring all is clean and hung or folded. No loose threads or missing buttons etc... Also sorted out scarves and accessories.

Karbea andSpoilt I'm a big MyFitnessPal fan.

Since I discovered it last year it's basically the only thing that successfully gets my weight down. Once you've saved your favourite meals, it isn't too much of a hassle. It's even fun sometimes filling it in! However, as with everything, you need to be conscientious with it - and that's my downfall!

I thought this winter that I'd try and go for the low GI / low GL approach so I don't have to count anything. Anyone else doing this? Any tips / shared experiences gratefully received!

I'm finding it a bit of a struggle as my middle name might as well be LovesCarbs!

Ok I've created an account and added in breakfast/lunch and my run. Just need to fill it in daily! Maybe that'll be my one thing today haha!!

Dh has just purchase scales that link to I phone, and computer! So every time I weigh myself it will keep my phone updated. It also measures body fat etc Shock

It's going to scare me into never touching chocolate or wine gums again Grin

I'm Shock how many calories there are in nuts! No wonder I didn't lose any weight last week :(

The hydration's progressing well today, but not a lot else is.

I shall try to up the activity thing tomorrow.

The one new thing I've done today? Just signed up to MyFitnessPal.

Right evening round up!

Week 1 : no alcohol, no choc/crisps, no caffeine, ran, portion of fruit with breakfast, body brushing, flossing and mouthwash - one fail 35g of Lindt choc on Tuesday. Weight : Haven't lost anything, Look/feel better/fitter : think I feel more energetic, zits no change.

Sunday : created my fitness pal, keep up to date and within calories, 23 calories over!!! Grr!! ( blame DH and onion rings).

I haven't done the adding thing yet on MFP. Will have a look!

Today I'm going to be very good and stick to my 1,200 cals. (I'm only 5'3" so that's what it's set me...)

A problem though is using up our pub quiz winnings tonight.... We won £25 worth of free drinks last week to use tonight. How do I resist that?! Vodka and soda water's okay, isn't it?! :)

Morning!

My weekend didn't go as well as I'd hoped, as no time to do the Couch to 5k but on the plus side MAJOR reduction in alcohol, salad with pork for dinner where I could have had a proper roast, with all the trimmings and NO desert/cheese after! That's a BIG change, for me, so I'm happy!
