I turned one year off the significant one yesterday....
No pressies (sob) no cake (the afterschoolers who are currently using my house -long story) ate it all, work (I DON'T work on my birthday), no breakfast in bed because of work, no dinner cooked (dp late) .. All in all pretty pants...

BD, sorry to hear your birthday was a fail. Maybe next year....

I can probably do any time if DH takes DD to gym as well as picks up!

Hopefully can get there at reasonable hour, but it depends on when DP can get home.

I should be up earlier if I can reorganise my school run (which I will). Waterloo Travelodge is looking more promising than Southwark in terms of price, but I'll pm you ruby... And any other takers of an overnight stay??

Hello ladies, bit parky here today...
New boots arrived and I am in a quandary. I wanted a new pair of long boots, but failed to read the description properly and they are calf high and I am just not sure. Am dithering about returning them and exchanging for (a more expensive) pair....

Just to be sure, it's the Waterloo Bar + Kitchen we went to, I think! Along the road from the Old Vic. I am happy to book a table - just need numbers! I can be there by 6 - is that good?

The Brora trousers arrived and they are wrong too.... Not sure I've grasped this online shopping too well. I have a day of 'sending back'. The shoes were good though here, though not in this weather.....
