What are the last three items of clothing you bought, and why?

I've bought a long sleeved black layering t shirt from H&M, a black and white Breton also from H&M and an animal print jumper from Whistles which is -bet lynch i fear or really subtly sexy and stylish...lying on my bed while I decide if I'll keep it. Bought them all because apart from the Breton ( of which I have about a dozen) I don't have anything like them.

What have you bought recently and why?

Some big boots - because they're awesome!

Black cardi for work (to over blue nurses dress) - because it's gets chilly at work and my other cardi was looking a bit old.

Pink/purple patterned dress - because it was gorgeous and I couldn't resist.

A pack of knickers, and a pack of socks from M&S (to replace some with holes in/too worn to be useful), I also bought a long-sleeved t-shirt from H&M because I needed some new winterwear after a clear out of things that no longer fit.

A sweater dress (cause I'm cold), some skinny jeans (mum wear), some Victoria's Secret bras (cause I never to get to shop there).

I bought 3 things from Superdry: "bouquet" dress in purple (ribbed vest top with short tiered skirt), grey "cheerleader" skirt (very short, pleated school girl looking thing) and bright blue t shirt with pink and black writing. I bought them because I fell in love with everything in the shop, but those were my favourites, and they fitted well. Had to get some new clothes as have lost weight!

Three H&M tops, as part of an experiment for my blog (higher end v high st jersey). One cotton fine knit jumper, one vest and one shirt.

A pair of shoe boots from John Rocha because I needed some new ones and they are so comfortable.

A frock from Sainsburys - tweedy looking with a peplum. I haven't tried it on yet. It's for work.

A jumper from River Island which is too cool for me so DD has swiped it.

Phase 8 dress. Shrug to go with the dress. Magic pants.

I was going to a wedding.

Black skinny jeans and a super bright orangey red jumper, both from Whistles. Because.. My grazia voucher was burning a hole in my pocket, and I couldn't quite resist the vanity sizing in there returning to a size 8 (finally!) after DD was born last year.

Number 3 is my Danefae coat that arrived yesterday. I love it! Bought because.. Mumsnet told me to
The wise ones were right as usual, I was toasty and dry in today's monsoon. And complimented on it at school gates too

A Berghaus insulated Richmond coat because I am fed up of getting soaked on the school run and wanted something light and smartish.

A beautiful navy blue double breasted knee length coat from Zara because I haven't bought a work coat for years and need one and it was only £99

A gorgeous oversized grey scarf from Zara simply because it looked fab when I tried it on and I am going to go back and buy it in more colours.

A Next pencil skirt (sz 10) for work.

A pair of Next long trousers (sz 10) for work.

A real leather biker style jacket (sz 12).

All second hand but excellent condition from eBay - needed to update my work wardrobe having dropped 2 dress sizes and the total cost of all 3 (including postage) was less than £25.

1. Tesco tunic for those days when I feel too self-conscious for something shorter.
2. Joules polo for when I'm feeling rah rah.
3. Denim breeches - for when I'm being rah rah.

black biker boots fur lined- beacause they were cheap at £20 and thoughtid try them for style before investing in some real leather ones.

A longer biker jacket type thing from Oasis. I was actually looking for a parka, but couldn't find one I fancied. Ordered it online. I'm looking forward to the slight edge it will add to my wardrobe. Slightly worried about the slight edge it will add to my wardrobe (still finding my way out of the mummy rut).

Some denim jeggings from M&S. Because it's time I embraced skinnies. I wore them yesterday and the sky didn't fall in.

A load of tops from White Stuff. Mostly long sleeved layering things which will be great when the weather gets colder. And a lovely foresty green top. I adore the colour.

2 t shirts and a pair of shorts to go on holiday to Hawaii!!

A pair of dark wash slim leg jeans from the charity shop, and two pairs of skinnies in the sale at Sansburys! I'm clearly not in your leagues...

Grecian style green maxi dress for a friends wedding next week (Topshop)

Grey Leigh Jeans and White jumper, also from Topshop. Have been looking for a pair of grey jeans for ages and the white jumper goes perfectly under a leopard print jacket collarless jacket I bought from River Island a couple of weeks ago.

Am desperately searching for a clutch bag (pref vintage) to go with the dress for the wedding now..

Because I had a shoe crisis, nothing but holey ballet flats or knee high boots I didn't want to wear every day.

A coat from lauren moffatt - shipped from the states - the customs charges were horrific so wont be able to afford clothes for months.

Serena Dobby Stripe Dress from Fat Face - I liked it and I recently went from dyed red hair to dyed brown hair and am enjoying being able to wear different colours.

Red cardigan from New Look - I needed a new one

Some socks from Primark - Socks seem to disintegrate/hide/disappear in this house so they are a regular purchase.

A white bra from m&s, a dark green pea coat from French Connection and a parka from French Connection.

Because I needed them.

Zara jacket which is lovely. Fits really well and looks nice.

Uniqlo heat tech vests. I like to be warm and I'm very pleased with them. I have long sleeved and short sleeved heat tech tips from previous years but fancied some camisole type tops.

Long running tights because the weather is turning chilly. They cost far too much but do the job nicely.
