oh FOR GODS SAKE just take your bloody shorts/t shirt/burka whatever OFF

all sorts of ages and sizes of women were there lookign NICE - the ones who looked stupid were the ones hobbling to the sea in DRESSES ( oh yes and not religious based affairs)
really we are our own worst enemies

Oh and sequin bikinis make me feel hot just LOOKING at them. ANd get a cup that fits - no need for underboob

and lastly FRIGGING maxi sundresses sheesh ENOUGHT already

Blimey.

Caught a little too much sun there?

Smile
usualsuspect · 27/05/2012 16:37

What should we wear that doesn't offend you then?

piprabbit · 27/05/2012 16:38

I'm always grumpy after a long hot day on the beach too - have a nice cold Wine and relax.

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:39

wear a bikini
or a swimsuit. I wanted to RUN to the teenagers adn say "no no no you are lovely stop wearing silly shorts in the sea"

usualsuspect · 27/05/2012 16:42

No way am I wearing a bikini or swimsuit on the beach , so you will have to avoid looking at me

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:44

oh thats such a shame.

OP posts:
TheFallenMadonna · 27/05/2012 16:46

I wear shorts in the sea because I have a fear of sunburnt arse.

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:46

you burn in the SEA?

OP posts:
KenNEddieKennedy · 27/05/2012 16:47

What a strange thing to stress about lumbago.

usualsuspect · 27/05/2012 16:47

I only have a paddle , no need for me to strip off and scare the horses Grin

piprabbit · 27/05/2012 16:48

Oh yes - DH got a burnt back after swimming in the sea even though he had a T-shirt on. The way the light reflects off the waves can actually make it easier to burn in the sea apparently.

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:48

im not really stressing.
im ranting mumsnet style. In real life I am cross legged huming AUMMMMM.

CHrist people on here get animated about sodding mother and child parking

OP posts:
AgathaFusty · 27/05/2012 16:49

Bloody hell, didn't you sleep well last night?

I would much rather be comfortable and confident in a pair of shorts and bikini top, than feel uncomfortable in a bikini. Especially if I know judgemental people like your good self are sitting there making comments in your head.

TheFallenMadonna · 27/05/2012 16:49

I burn anywhere....

I swim on the sea. Arse up...

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:50

haha
as if eveyrone else is judgement free

jaquelinehyde · 27/05/2012 16:50

OK then next time I pop down to the local beach I shall slip into a nice little bikini for you and then you can admire my size 26 frame in all its glory!!!

Seriously Lumbago get a grip and enjoy your time at the beach!

I suspect some beach goers thought you looked a complete state as well seeing as you appear to have spent the whole day sat on the beach in your judgey pants.

ZZZenAgain · 27/05/2012 16:51

people go into the sea and swim with a dress on? I've never seen that but it wouldn't bother me tbh. I think you'd best get out the incense sticks and your peace and love mode will drift back lumbago.

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:51

i did enjoy myself - who said I didnt.
I just REALLY beleive women should get it out so people like you arent stressed about size 26 bodies.
LIFE IS TOO SHORT

OP posts:
ZZZenAgain · 27/05/2012 16:52

get what out lumbago?

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:52

women do it to themselves. In spain they are ALL in bikinis and walking around proudly - not crawling to the waters edge,

At the rate we are going only about 2 peopel in 10000 would wear swimwear.
bloody hell - get it out! be out and proud!

OP posts:
LeeCoakley · 27/05/2012 16:54

I could never enjoy myself on the beach if I had to worry about slapping a bottle of suncream on every couple of hours. A long dress/skirt is perfect and cool. But thanks for the fashion advice anyway.

usualsuspect · 27/05/2012 16:55

People should wear what they feel comfortable in

lumbago · 27/05/2012 16:55

IM making a stand for us to NOT be ashamed of our bodies.
to WEAR what we want to , not be brow beaten into covering up if we arent a size 8.
