It is this ....]]reviews.boots.com/2111-en_gb/867907/soap-glory-soap-glory-foot-buffer-reviews/reviews.htm here]]

I actually hate their range and don't use it - but took a punt on this foot file and it's really, really good.

right I have just come back from Boots armed with one on your recommendation...so on your head (or foot) be it! Wink

NotMostPeople · 16/03/2012 18:17

I bought one earlier in the week, put it in my handbag and can you believe I then forgot about it.

This morning I remembered it and Wow, I'm a member of the long term veruca cluster brigade so have use it to file off all the dead skin around the horrible V's which was very satisfying. However my heals that I thought were quite good anyway and now amazing.

Off for an early bath in a bit so will give it another go and see how it works on wet feet.

I'm thinking a 'no' to using it on wet feet. I reckon far more effective on dry... although I may experiment and report back

Smooth, lovely feet here thanks to your recommendation Shineon Smile

DaisyAndConfused · 16/03/2012 21:07

Sorry sp.

lololizzy · 16/03/2012 23:52

wow you weren't joking. Mirror shine feet here! Put on wooden Scholls after (my indoor shoes..don't do slippers) and as they're polished wood, I slipped straight out of them!
fabulous and I thought i'd tried them all. Shame Boots wouldn't let me do them as part of 3 for 2 though. Apparently the files don't come under skin, bath, body... (um my feet aren't body?!)
was a bit over keen on side of big toe and it's now raw! file is so effective you don't need to rub as hard as the more inferior files.
Thank you thank you thank you!
Summer feet at the ready

lololizzy · 16/03/2012 23:54

it's amazing how nice I feel just from having shiny happy feet

lololizzy · 16/03/2012 23:55

so shall send you big bunch of Thanks

MrsCampbellBlack · 17/03/2012 08:17

Am loving it!

Well thats actually a bit of an overstatement as doing the filing makes me feel a little bit sick as am not keen on touching feet even my own [strange]

But the results are looking good.

If it means I don't have to use that vile smelling flexitol - well I'll be very happy Smile

swlmum · 17/03/2012 10:55

Ok. I have a question which I don't think has been addressed...what is the little file that pops out of the handle for??

shinecrazydiamond · 17/03/2012 11:37

swimum - not sure but I think for callouses on toes. Which makes me feel a bit vomity. I haven't used it.

I have a little file every day. no idea why.. I also bought some of the Heel Genius yesterday and that is good also.

I'm done with S and G purchases for a while though

slinkyboo · 17/03/2012 14:31

I too bought one today and I've just used it...it's bloody amazing, and I was a ped egg fan before.
I got the last one in the large boots I went to Grin
Thanks

lololizzy · 17/03/2012 15:10

the pull out bit...i thought perhaps ends of toes??? mine get dry at the tops. Sides of big toes? don't overdo like me though as mine nearly bled! Maybe good too for dry skin round the sides of fingernails..mind get pretty gnarled up.
This file is coming on hol with me this week! combined with going to sleep with Heel Genius on, roll on flipflop season..

Jamdoughnutfiend · 17/03/2012 22:22

I used the little file for the sides of my big toes and the middle of the ball of my foot (officially had the nastiest feet on the thread) worked well on the bumpy foot bit next to my little toes too. Have just finished painting my toes in very pale pink (make love - opi) am awaiting sandal weather impatiently.....

henrysmama2012 · 17/03/2012 23:52

Has anyone tried the maxipedi (I think that's what it is called)? It is literally one
Of the best products Ive ever bought - super easy way to get very smooth feet, even with very rough skin, and very quick to use.

tootiredtothink · 18/03/2012 19:40

I need instructions! Do I use it on wet or dry feet?

perceptionreality · 18/03/2012 19:58

I found I got more off with damp feet.

tootiredtothink · 18/03/2012 20:22

Thank you, will give it a go

pipsqueak · 25/03/2012 19:39

another vote for this foot thingy - amazing results Smile

peggyblackett · 25/03/2012 19:43

This file is flipping awesome. Thanks shiney Thanks.

theladylovescupcakes · 02/04/2012 09:06

I stumbled upon a whole bunch of them in a wee Boots in Market Harbrough on Saturday. Will be giving it a try later on. Haven't got terribly skanky heels but live in birki's in the summer so would love to have baby soft feet. Thanks Shiney!!

RamblingRosa · 02/04/2012 09:46

They've sold out on line. I want one. I'll have a trawl round local Boots later this week. Where are they in the shop? With all the Scholl foot stuff (insoles, foot files, foot cream etc) or with the bath stuff?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 02/04/2012 16:06

They're with the sponges, washbags etc. I found loads of them in stock in my small local Boots today, but there were none in the large town centre one yesterday. When I was paying for it the woman behind the counter said it was brilliant, the best foot file she'd ever tried and that she'd tried all of them.

Just had my first go with it, feet aren't too bad at the moment, but I am determined to not let them deteriorate like I usually do. Has anyone been using lemon juice like they suggest?

MsNorbury · 02/04/2012 23:00

I used it.
It's meh. I prefer the loyds pharmacy cheese slice one.
It was I fear a waste of money.
