OllieinOrange · 07/03/2012 15:11

OllieinOrange · 07/03/2012 15:20

This Whistles stripe lace top is very lovely for those of you with the right colouring [[http://www.whistles.co.uk/fcp/product/Whistles/tops/Stripe-Lace-Top/903000057942 here

OllieinOrange · 07/03/2012 15:21

Hopefully · 07/03/2012 15:47

Night out? What on earth is that? Grin

blossoming · 07/03/2012 16:23

That is nice ollie! But yes, after last year, would need to try on in a store first.
If I had a social life I would be buying this!

AmberNectarine · 07/03/2012 17:14

I've had my eye on that Carvn, bloss

MarshaBrady · 07/03/2012 17:20

Me too! I keep looking at it. Love the colour and shape and wonder if the stitches across the front would be ok...

Dauphin · 07/03/2012 17:26

Sheesh, just had playdate (hate that word) at ours. Invitee impeccably behaved but my eldest (DS) v bossy. I frequently had to bite my tongue and then decided a quiet word with DS was in order. Unceremoniously ended in strop when DS realised that friend was leaving. Why do we do it?

Great boots FLE. Bargain! You sound so much happier by the way . Hope you are feeling a lot brighter.

We did similar party last year for DS Decameron. Pinata goes down well. She'll have a ball!

Bloss the weight loss is fab!

I am looking forward to reading my copy of Red tonight Verity. Have made chicken, leek and bacon pie (yum).

FritziGreenEyes · 07/03/2012 17:41

dauphin Snap. Exhausting playdate here too although for other reasons. Goulash from Leon Cookbook and Red magazine here tonight, oh and red wine of course Wink

ollie Can I move to your street please? You would be my perfect neighbour Smile

bloss That dress is so you!

Cannot look at other links on iphone properly. Will catch up later.

blossoming · 07/03/2012 17:46

Who would stock that dress in London?

MarshaBrady · 07/03/2012 18:00

The Carven one? Matches.

Ring first to see if they have it or can get it in the store.

AntPants1 · 07/03/2012 18:02

bloss there is a mango in westfield.

ReineDeSaba · 07/03/2012 18:13

Carven dress gorgeous.

dauphin I am going to attempt same tomorrow..is there a particular recipe you rate?

anyone have any idea if can buy Marni online from h and m and what time it will be available?

carciofi think childrens' entertainers deserve every penny.could.not.face.it!

VerityBrulee · 07/03/2012 18:19

Reine I'm sure it's online but not sure of the time, obsessive refreshing of h&m page starting at 7am? Grin

ReineDeSaba · 07/03/2012 18:22

thanks vb ..will have to think of a good excuse for being late for school Grin

MidnightinMoscow · 07/03/2012 18:24

That dress is gorgeous, what a color.

Grin at Marsha having coffee with my mother. You'd need nerves of steel!

Have a great time tonight Ollie, glad you got the boots in the end.

That dress is lovely from DP FLE, the structure is fabulous.

AmberNectarine · 07/03/2012 19:08

Selfridges stock Carven, bloss, might pop in and try it on next week

Hopefully · 07/03/2012 19:09

Bloss that dress is gorgeous. Those very bright blues are one colour group that I really wish I could wear.

I believe the H&M stuff goes online at 9am, but I may be wrong. I used to work in the Southampton store and it was great for designer collaborations, because it was such a non-trendy place full of lazy students that there was always time to grab stuff!

Am emphatically not looking forward to another 3kg Shred tonight - I am getting flash backs to my early Shredding days when I hurt Grin. NY tell me it will get easier again!

DH has just had a job interview which went really well apparently. If they offer him the job it will throw yet another debate into the air about where to live/what to do with ourselves. My brain doesn't stop whirring on this at the moment! Confused

MarshaBrady · 07/03/2012 19:17

I might try it on too.

Realise I am third on the list of who can wear to the MU.

Blast!

Grin
MarshaBrady · 07/03/2012 19:18

Hopefully it will work out. The right job, salary, place to live will come along. You are both sound talented.

notyummy · 07/03/2012 19:22

I also like the Carven dress, although could be slightly tricky to wear for some I fear - any bottom wobble would be outed (even with spanx) However not a problem for you I suspect!

Hopefully - it will get easier! When it does though, then it is time for another workout, because the old one will have stopped working. It should always feel hard tbh, because that way you keep challenging your body. (That may not be what you wanted to hear Grin)

OP posts:
blossoming · 07/03/2012 19:39

I needed to do 46 mins of cardio tonight so did 6w6p and most of shred 1. I still find it hard!! Those squats, those pushups, lifting 2.5kg weights...
That dress really is lush, but could probably not justify price for one night's wear. Sigh.

Mominatrix · 07/03/2012 19:55

Bloss, the Carven dress is gorgeous. Joseph in St. John's Wood and Brompton Cross carry Carven also. I think that you'd wear that dress quite often. put a black blazer/biker jacket with the sleeves folded up and a pair of ankle boots and you'd be rocking that dress during the day.

All this talk about shreading has made me feel guilty. I am signed up for a half marathon, and was doing really well until half term and children's' illness gave me an excuse prevented me from exercising. Must do better now!

Decameron · 07/03/2012 19:57

Wow, Verity, those MIH jeans were a good find. I don't have much luck on ebay. The one time I bought jeans, I realised they were bad fakes and I never make as much as I hope when selling. I think I take bad photos.

I really like that Whistles top, Ollie, very pretty.

While DD1 was at nursery this morning, I went through her toys and threw out all the tat from the comics, one-legged dolls, etc. I'm sure she'll notice soon and I'll be in trouble.

Very cool Carven dress.

FritziGreenEyes · 07/03/2012 20:20

ollie I LOVE your grey GAP jumper! Very similar to my navy one from Vince. I want yours too but now all sold out. Probably not worth hunting it down in the flagship store on Oxford St. when I'm in London for MU, is it?

FLE Fingers crossed you'll find your perfect dress.

reine I will immediately go to H&M tomorrow morning after school run. If there is anything you want me to pick up for you, I'd be happy to. Although it might be impractical if you need to return anything Hmm. I don't know really why I am so keen on going to H&M tomorrow as I am convinced there is nothing for me. Love the cuts and prints of Marni but the colours are all wrong for me.

deca I regularly declutter DD's plastic tat and she has never ever noticed. I am tempted by the Hush strapless jersey dresses. But strapless and running around after children or, more to the point, children tugging on your clothes are a bit too risqué I think Grin.

What's the weather forecast for MU? Tights or bare legs weather? I NEED to go to Whistles to see the clothes in RL.
