Sorry for poor thread title but I am hopeless at rhyming at the best of times...
Unbelievable how quickly we filled the last thread!

Had one hour on Friday before the meeting started and used my time very efficiently and bought these. They are not quite as high as the 50/50s but suit me better. Was hugging the shopping bag close to me on the train back home yesterday Grin.

ollie Such a shame that your DH isn't going to go with the job offer over here. Oh, the fun we could have!

hopefully Having you on this thread is great and I enjoy reading your posts a lot. I hope your mother doesn't find any more tidying tasks for you today. You look fab in your wedding pictures.

annie Hope you got all your work done last night and have the chance to get some rest today.

red We have our hob on our kitchen island too. We couldn't decide on backsplash for ages. Haven't had one for ages and it is absolutely fine. I do most food preparation stuff on the island anyway.

Have lovely Sundays everyone!

Thank you for kind words /; wishes.

Can't type much as hooked up to various stuff.

Am
Ok and baby ok. DH just helped me have a wash with a bowl.

Situation devoid of anything glamourous or stylish.

Love the links, ESP VB dress in grey and red with her whistles stuff.

Good thing about hospital? Haven't spent any money!

Xxx

MidnightinMoscow · 02/02/2012 20:13

And the drugs are good.

AmberNectarine · 02/02/2012 20:20

bloss have you seen these J Brands?

AmberNectarine · 02/02/2012 20:22

mim so glad to hear both you and baby are ok, will you be in for long? Shows your lovely nature that you can find humour in a situation so trying.

MrsCampbellBlack · 02/02/2012 20:32

Yeay MIM! One good thing about hospital is the drugs Wink

Russianred · 02/02/2012 20:49

Yes, hospital drugs are a great thing Grin. Glad to hear that DH can be there with you. Any idea how long they might have you in for or not even thinking about it yet? I bought these today in the fuchsia, they're fantastic on and I seem to remember you were thinking of stepping your toe into coloured skinnies? They'd look great on you - perhaps the lilac or the rose? Please keep us updated as to how you're doing Thanks.

MrsCb yes to 'research' at Kilver Court.

I'm also keen to meet all the W&A offspring Reine - I feel like we get to know them all a little bit through the thread.

I do like the shearling Marsha but sounds as though you are being most wise. An expensive mistake to wear once and then form these conclusions.

loobylu3 · 02/02/2012 21:23

Popping in quickly to send v best wishes to MIM. Pleased to hear that baby and you are well. Hope your mum is helping you out with DS and DH pampering you :)

Reine love the Mango top- v me too, I think! By the way, your DD2 doesn't look ginger in the pic- looks like brown hair to me. My DC are an interesting mix too but basically 3/4 Indian/ 1/4 Caucasian.

DS still poorly so looks as if he will be coming to work with me tomorrow to sit in the common room and relax. He will have magazines/ books and iPod touch so hoping he will manage (fingers crossed).

Zembo · 02/02/2012 21:30

Also popping in quickly to say Get well soon MIM I hope you're being well looked after and manage to get some sleep tonight. Spookily it was 1 year ago today that I was admitted with my ruptured ectopic. I remember browsing this thread post-operatively, everyone was so supportive.

Hopefully · 02/02/2012 21:57

MIM thanks for the update, glad you and baby are ok and hope you're getting some rest despite being hooked up to machines etc.

Just had phone call from very drunk DH, telling me how much he loves me and how grateful he is for all my support in his career and the sacrifices I've made in my own to do so. In vino veritas, eh? Though would be nice to hear sober occasionally!

reine lovely mango top!

mrsCB that is a lovely colour, also enjoying the Saint Tropez shade...

Annie so get what you mean about this stage, DS is so cute it's untrue. I'd love to meet everyone's DCs, the idea of them playing together is lovely, though would likely be chaos!

AmberNectarine · 02/02/2012 22:34

Think I really want this jumper but am I deluding myself? Never wear green normally!

Reine I think that I have a lot more years on the clock than anyone else, hence the vast collection of old clothes, I probably should be on the Crepie thread, but I know that I'm older than some of them too Sad

MIM do take care, glad that DH is with you

Bloss wise words about relationships.

I was at a talk this evening about 'Flourishing' it was very inspiring, I must be more positive.

Amber I really like those J Brands, I wonder what other colours they come in.

ReineDeSaba · 03/02/2012 06:32

karbea stay and chat..you obviously have great taste!

amber and annie I found a lime j crew jumper in a charity shop and I love it!

looby I remember pics of your children from when you previously posted..gorgeous!yes,I see what you mean about the hair..probably the light and brown hair coming through underneath..will post another closer photo at weekend so you can get a better look..

yes!yes! to a DC 'cute off'

my 'little cutie' was up at 5.30 again..heyho!

ReineDeSaba · 03/02/2012 06:34

great days all and portia no way do you belong on the crepy thread(whatever it is I don't like the sound of it!)

ReineDeSaba · 03/02/2012 06:55

have uploaded another piccie of DD2

MidnightinMoscow · 03/02/2012 06:56

Morning. You ladies are so lovely. Had some sleep and lots of lovely codeine/morphine. Love the
World right now.

DH is funny, bought me magazines in, like Bella and chat. Am overloaded on Denise welsh and her frosted lipstick. Requested Elle for today!

Saw the link to
Blue j brandsa and pink gap skinnys. So pretty. No spend feb still going strong!

ReineDeSaba · 03/02/2012 07:17

mim glad you are feeling rested..bless your DH!

Portia4 · 03/02/2012 07:53

MIM so glad that you had a good night.

Bloss I don't have an amazing wardrobe at all, just lots bought without reference to lifestyle or existing wardrobe and hence never worn, this thread has got me thinking and planning, Hopefully spreadsheets - hello! My next step has got to be ebaying.

At the talk I was at last night on Flourishing we were told that everyone has a quantum of attention, and that should be used on positive thoughts rather than wasted on negativity, that shall be my thought for the day!

Hope that everyone has a good day Smile

AmberNectarine · 03/02/2012 08:49

Oh, bless your DH, mim, great that he is being so supportive. Good to hear you got some rested and are being looked after. We will all try and post lots of lovely things to look at, I'm sure!

Portia your wardrobe sounds fab and you certainly don't belong on that thread! Think those J brands will be good for us Agnes lovers.

annie I think I'll need to try it on as I am a bit yellow and I could end up looking like a cleaning product. Am all about the neons atm.

Am v sleepy today after a bad night with the baby but for the 3rd Friday in a row DH is coming home from work a bit early, feel quite spoilt! Maybe he's having an affair or something, he's been very nice to me lately!

Hopefully · 03/02/2012 09:05

Just popping in to check how you're doing MIM, glad you had a good night. Bless your DH.

We are having a ridiculously lazy day today. It is 9am and the tv has been on for about 20 mins already. We might make it out for a walk later, but it's so tiresome wrapping everyone up in the cold.

Am wandering round the house in my Aldo boots and feeling happy every time I pass the mirror. Definitely a Roxy test pass. Incidentally, the boots I am returning are these ones. They are also lovely, but not quite as comfortable, and not different enough to justify.

FritziGreenEyes · 03/02/2012 09:36

portia No way you are going to leave us, you truly belong here and it wouldn't be the same without you! Have such fond memories of us and poor hungover ollie trying on jeans at Trilogy Smile. Could you get your DDs to help you with ebaying some of your clothes? They can do the photos and listings and get a percentage of the proceeds in return?

mim Good to hear you are feeling rested. I love listening to Podcasts on my iPhone, especially Jillian's at the moment.

amber If someone would be having an affair they would stay away from home and not come home early, no? Hope you meant it as a joke anyway Wink. Love the JB Zoey!

mrscb Blue Bonett is such a pretty name for a colour.

hopefully Aldo 1 are much nicer than Aldo 2. I often do the passing mirrors-feeling happy-thing but not so much lately as I have developed a very unfetching muffin top over the Christmas holidays. Sad

reine Your DD is just adorable!

Welcome karbea!

looby Your DS will be very proud to accompany you to work I guess. Hope he's feeling better soon.

red Those jeans are gorgeous. I love the rose and lilac ones too!

I'm currently in love with this pink trench from BR

Fleecy · 03/02/2012 09:45

Sweet of your DH to get you the magazines MIM even if they weren't quite your usual read - the sort of thing mine would do. Glad you've had a good night.

hopefully I think the ones you kept would be more slimming anyway - I always look for a slight 'v' on the front of ankle boots to make my legs look longer and thinner Grin

DS home sick today, sigh. It was only two weeks ago that they had the tummy bug and now he's got a dreadful cough and is very feverish. Currently watching Monsters vs Aliens and have told him he must then go to bed as we're supposed to be seeing elderly relatives tomorrow and am trying to get him well. Not sure it's going to happen and don't really know what to do. Tricky!

I was looking at New Look and they do have some lovely coloured skinnies very cheap for those looking to dip their toe in the water. A good one-season wardrobe update I'd have thought.

reine your DDs are both beautiful. Gorgeous girls!

portia you can't go anywhere - you won a Balenciaga bag in a raffle fgs, this is clearly your MN home!

amber I'm afraid I'm not sure about that jumper - I think it's because it's textured as well as bright. I'd go for one or the other I think, so plain knit in the green or a textured knit in a neutral colour. But love the colour, especially for spring. Could see it with cropped skinnies, ankle boots and a chunky woollen scarf.

Fleecy · 03/02/2012 09:47

Oh yes - please do stay karbea and apple99
