I'm really tempted to try ones of these. Anyone recommend Glossy Box, Boudoir Prive, Feel Unique or similar? I keep reading beauty blogs to see which is best.

Re beauty products, I really recommend the Liz Earle Eyebright Eye Lotion. It's really soothing and when I was woken by my babies in the night for feeds, I'd sweep some over my eyes & it would wake me up a bit & stop my eyes feeling so tired. I still use it every morning.

The code won't work for me but I have t had a glossy box before :(

That's a pain.
I've seen a few Amarya codes today & got excited & they haven't worked either. I'm tempted by their boxes now because this month's have the full size Dr Hauschka Rose Day cream & the December one had a twin pack of Ren body products. Unfortunately with Amarya though if you subscribe now you have to wait for the March one. Already I've got the Glossy Box, Carmine box & Latest in Beauty/You box on order. I'm getting very obsessive! I'll have to put my children up chimneys to pay for it all!

I've ordered the GlossyBox anyway so you should get some glossy dots :) so that's Carmine and GlossyBox I don't think I ought to order anymore

Beauty boxes are great - it really is like getting a present every month. I've had full size leighton denny polish, ciate polish, loreal professional mythic oil, a HD brow palette, stila eyeliner and trials of dermalogica face masks, nuxe oil, stivectin eye concentrate...the list is just so long!!!!

That said - if there is something in particular you really want to try and qvc sell it - just buy it from them (that way you can send it back if it doen't work for you).

The Latest in Beauty/You box was launched last Sunday. The website was a disaster but they let people email reservations for the box. My box was dispatched last week.
It's worth looking on the Latest in Beauty site at the CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) box. (£4.95) It has a full size Balance Me lipbalm worth £8 and a 15 ml Clarins moisturizer worth £9.80 as well as samples. At Christmas there was a further 20% off.

NannyPlum I see you've written you're still waiting for the Feel Unique box - here's why. Feel Unique only send their boxes out the first week of every month - there is only one shipment per month. If you subscribe after the middle of each month, then you don't get the following month's box as they stop taking subscriptions for the next box halfway through the previous month. Unlike Glossy Box and Carmine etc, they produce a known number of boxes dependent on who has ordered before the cut-off point.
So, you'll get the Feb one and my guess is it will be posted either this Friday or the week of the 6th Feb. It is usually fab though so worth the wait!

The January Glossyboxes are being delivered from today. There's a blog on the Glossybox site now which shows the ten items which will be in the boxes (unfortunately you only get five of them!) I want the postman to hurry up & bring mine.

It was just toooo easy and tempting .
I had better go back to my job application.
How dull...

Decided to get a Glossybox after reading this thread. I'm a cosmetics whore so sounded like heaven to me. It is a thing of beauty! Do they always come packed with tissue paper and ribbons?

Anyway, got the Eyeko eyeliner, Clarins day and night cream, Murad primer and FAB body cream. Very pleased.

The pink eyeliner sounds a bit odd but its more of a beige/pink shade (Farrow & Ball probably have a good name for it!). It's supposed to brighten your waterline. I've tried to have a quick go with it but my 2 year old is clambering over me so I decided that it wasnt a good idea! It's a good box. Does anyone know when the Feb one is due?

I got my Glossybox today, not as impressed with this one as I was with Decembers but nevermind, there's always next months!
