Beauty Boxes

I'm really tempted to try ones of these. Anyone recommend Glossy Box, Boudoir Prive, Feel Unique or similar? I keep reading beauty blogs to see which is best.

Having seen the spoilers of the Amarya box I don't think I'll bother, I'm still waiting for someone to get the SheSaid box so I can decide if to subscribe or not. I've cancelled Carmine in case I do sub to SheSaid.

The first ever SheSaid box is being dispatched end of Feb so people won't get it til the first week in March.
First boxes are usually really good - am tempted to sign up, given it's 25% off at the moment, but I get too many and it's all getting a bit ridiculous but I can't bear to cancel one in case i miss out - pathetic!

Ooh I didn't realise it was the first one, I'll probably end up subscribing to it then!

Porkypine, you're making me want the SheSaid box now. It's 40% off for 6 months too. I'm got masses of stuff & and don't need anything, but I want it ALL!

They just sent me an email - there will be no more!

For this reason, we will be closing Beauty Box indefinitely as of this month. I just got the email too!! And was planning to make a lovely jewellery box like Tragicallyhip!! Interesting to see what they replace it with....

I only recently subscribed to FeelUnique and got my first box last weekend. I loved it- gutted!
Will have to choose a new one now. What a shame. Were they losing money or something?

Am gutted too, had only just subscribed to FU and loved the first box.

Ive just subscribed to She Said in the hope that the first box will be a good one and before it gets oversubscribed

I do wonder if they were losing money Sebastion - I'm interested to see what will happen when they tweak their service.

Housewife ARGH I am out of control. I've just signed up to SheSaidBeauty. And as I love a 'bargain', I have obviously just spent a stupid amount buying myself a 6 month subscription. I am an idiot. Fingers crossed it's awesome. Am kidding myself I'll give boxes to family and friends as presents eventually...

Just had a look at the Latest in beauty one, but am a bit confused. Anyone know if you can pay by credit card or is just through your phone? Desperately seeking a Feelunique replacement!

Porkypine. I know how you feel. A month ago I didn't even know that BBs existed & know I'm obsessed. Still dithering over Amarya annual subscription & want to get the 1st Shesaid box. Do I go for 25% off or 6 month 40% like you? I'll have to see if I can Ebay the children to fund my addiction...
Snoozy, in March there will be another themed Latest in Beauty box. They're usually good value & you know what's in it first & you can pay for those with you credit card. The £1.50 sample boxes are text only.

Hi snoozy I think you should go for Jolie Box - you'll get one next week if you sign up today. I was impressed with my first one in December.

Just tried the BE foundation for the first time and I love it!

:( Gutted about FU. That was my only box and I loved it too. Probably for the best!

stella - so glad you love the BE (I think BE wearers are basically part of a club called the 'my skin looks great and I know you're jealous but I'm not so smug that I won't tell you the secret')

I can't tell you how gutted I am that I won't be able to sign up to FU. Maybe they are working on a sample section for their website where say there are 15 different products on offer and you pick 5 of them to go into your beauty bag for a tenner? I really hope that's what they do...(yes I know, it would be too good to be true).

I used the Murad primer today and was well impressed. First day for as long as I can remember that I went without foundation! It's quite like a tinted moisturiser....not really like a primer as it doesn't have that funny velvety texture you get in a primer. Impressed with it. Will probably get it to use during the Summer in place of foundation.
Looking forward to seeing what FU come up with. I think it will be good :)

Apparently the Feb box for Boudoir Prive/Jolie Box is still available to order & a black cloth bag with Jolie Box written on it comes with it this month.

I wouldn't even mind if FU started charging for P&P rather than cancelling the whole service. It's the only box I'm subscribed to. Wondering which one to do now.

Has anyone still not received their Feelunique box. I'm still waiting for mine and it was dispatched on monday. :(

For anyone with the Davines Moistursing Balm - how do you use it? I'm really confused. It says to use it on hair, body or face but to rinse off afterwards. EH? You rinse off a moisturiser?

Help? Anyone? Am I being fick?

Pinot I've got the balm too.
You use it a bit like Liz Earle. I used to have a Clinique take the day off balm that was very similar.
Put it on the ends of your hair for 10 minutes or so then wash off, supposed to moisturise split ends etc.
It's marketed as a multi purpose product.
