Best I could come up with......

emo Hope the DCs recover from their nasty bugs soon. I miss your posts!

every Fab outfit! Can you cycle in a fishtail skirt!?

carciofi Yay for new babysitter. Very wise words from roary and many others. My mother keeps on telling me how easy being a Mum is compared to "the old times". She conveniently forgets that my dad came home at 4:30 in the afternoon every day!

bloss That Acne dress would be perfect for you! Although I think it is £££ for 100% polyester.

Also meant to say well done zembo and red for mastering swimming and driving! It gives me such a thrill when I realize there is still room for development and learning new things.

Love all the fancy dress talk Smile.

After our holiday and spending the most time together ever since DD was born, I miss DH and DD...

notyummy · 11/01/2012 13:06

Love the Maxi version Ollie, but it would need to halve in price at least!!

Russianred · 11/01/2012 13:06

Ok, shall we do another one of ese and see which has the most attendees:

10th:
Red

17th:
Red

Ollie I think you should order the dress. It's the style you like in a colour you like and if it doesn't work, send it back. Roxy Rules.

blue2711 · 11/01/2012 13:12

Order the dress ollie! It's stunning.

carciofi · 11/01/2012 13:15

Ollie, yes, order it!

The 10th is my mum's anniversary so it would be a nice distraction to meet you all.

Thanks, I am over the guilt. My dad always worked long hours and my mother had a lot of help with us.

Out of pajamas and now wearing black skinny Hudsons and violet Jigsaw top again. Still in slippers. Blush

I wore some very short miniskirts indeed when I was younger and leather trousers, which I loved. I still have them but unfortunately they are bootcut.

Just got thoroughly over-excited about the Toast leather jacket going in the sale, then realised it is collarless Angry

I loved what I wore in my 20s. Anything I liked, was good fun. Fell into an office hole in late 20s (Covent Garden shops mostly), then started buying nicer stuff but not entirely happy... £500 Georgina Goodman boots, ok in style but some sort of suction thing meant dh had to take them off Hmm.

Ollie that dress is very you.

blossoming · 11/01/2012 13:27

Can someone relink ollie's dress? Gah, work getting in the way...

blossoming · 11/01/2012 13:29

Argh, just lost a long post with lots of links

I am so hoping to make the MU, might make the 17th but bank holiday may make it tricky. 10th is out as dh has a weekend conference.

Will be back later with links!

Would love to do MU but feels too presumptuous having just delurked. Maybe next time Smile

Ooh, Ash boots are here!

Russianred · 11/01/2012 14:05

Hopefully you should come, not presumptuous at all. It was nearly a year on thread before I met (nearly) everyone and I wish it had been done sooner.

Have you ordered that dress yet Ollie?!

MarshaBrady · 11/01/2012 14:06

Hopefully, it would be great if you could make it.

Dauphin · 11/01/2012 14:21

Carciofi I do quite like this bag .

Have had rather industrious morning at home with DD...hopefully the older darlings have had a nice day at school. Ds (5 and a half) is extremely stubborn at the moment, and prone to hysterics at the thought of being made to do anything which he considers unfair: i.e. going to bed, getting dressed, eating anything that does not look like Spaghetti Bolognese. I thought 2 year olds did that? Hmm DD1 is an Angel in comparison (thankfully), and DD2, who is actually 2, just states that her 'bruvver is be'in vewwy nawty'.....

Browsing holidays- under instruction from dh that abroad it must be....for main hols he suggests Italy....where to start? Have done Puglia (didn't much care for); Anyone on here done the Scott Dunne thing....? Or suggest fab hotels - must be coast...I still fancy Ile de Re (France) but dh unsure....we want a bit of luxury, either hotel or villa with good food, and will have three little ones in tow.

MidnightinMoscow · 11/01/2012 14:22

Very quickly rushing in to say that annie I have laughed so much at your PVC/Fancy dress talk.

Back later.

Oh andollie, get the HL.

ReineDeSaba · 11/01/2012 14:42

okay, cake in oven,dd2 sitting in front of Abney and Teal with chocolate all around her mouth..

rufus sorry if I've told you before but your posts always make me laugh, would love to see you at a meetup.

carciofi bolder holders Wink hardly!thanks for info.glad you have returned.

blue I am very short(under 5 foot) and tried on the
zara sequins

well it would have been rude not too but unfortunately swamped me,could be the same for you?
yesterday I wore

this zara skirt
..looks much better in RL,with a black milk tray man polo(old silk Jasper Conran from work days),black opaques and calvin Klein ankle boots with small heel(first work shoes I bought so v old Blush

today it was so dark I had same boots on but navy tights(thought they were black)with grey and black oasis leopard print dress bought last year, worn it loads.

think at some point we may need to bite the bullet and do fancy dress MU..bagsy I get to be an oompa loompa Confused

ReineDeSaba · 11/01/2012 14:42
