Well I have just had a Paypal refund (for a different return, not my 'double' parcel) & they've refunded the delivery postage too! :o Makes me wonder WTH is going on on that returns dept...

I called and apparently they are a week behind on refunds and I'm to call back at the end of the week if I haven't heard from them. Sigh.

They ought to be trying to keep MN folk happy after this thread - I had never heard of them, never mind bought from them, until I read this. Lots of potential future customers...

well they said they would phone me back today and havent. I have just tried to get through on the phone but after 10 minutes of listening to "let England Shake" by P J Harvey i wanted to find my copy and throw it out of the window....10 mins of it, on a loop, interspersed only by a woman telling me that i can request a catalogue through the website...or update my email address...it kept ringing, tantalisingly making it sound as though someone would pick up and then, i got old PJ Harvey again....

i used to like that album....

pissed off now. Feel im getting the run around.

Apparently French Connection are in serious trouble (I read in a paper today I think), and they're the same company aren't they?

I'm worried I'll end up with no clothes and no money - if the stuff arrives I'll hang onto it and ebay it or pass it on to friends, I think. Mind you it's a lot of money

I can't find anything saying they're in trouble - not issued profit warnings or anything and their last dividend was a little lower than anticipated but they still paid out.

Well I've fucked up. Put my Noella dress in the washing machine, never give it a thought it might be dry clean only. It's now just about covering my arse whereas it was knee length. I'm gutted as it was so nice on.

i phoned them again today - still no resolution. They still have not asked for my proof of postage and still keep saying they will ring me back when they have checked with the warehouse.

i wont be using them again i dont think. unless they refund me pretty sharpish

French Connection issued a profit warning in November.

Vicar, if you paid through Paypal or on a Visa card you could take it up with them if GP don't deal with it to your satisfaction. To be fair to them, they sound like they are dealing with a lot more orders and returns than normal given how popular their sale has been.

Just the length. It was knee length and now it barely covers my bum cheeks. Ffs who makes clothes that are dry clean only these days???

Getting pissed off now. Apparently they have no record of my return, despite me sending it back over 2 weeks ago. I have just sent them a photo of my proof of postage, if they think I'm posting the original to them they've got another think coming, it would be far to convenient for them to 'not receive' that too. This had better be resolved soon.

What the hell is going on in their Returns department?! I have a good mind to send them an email with the link to this thread in it. I wonder if that'd make them pull their socks up to get all our money back to us?

im emailing mine. they arent getting hold of my original either. obviously a problem with the returns dept.

Well, I take some of what I said back. Within 20 mins of emailing my receipt they had processed my refund.

My 2 farrells have just arrived.

Black and Roebuck quite similar colours but at £16 each I can't complain. Ideal for work when I need to look like a grown up

I posted two items back on Thurs last week, how long is it taking people to have their refunds processed? I am getting worried now as I didn't even have a return form for one of the items as they missed it out. I spoke to the CS and they send they would send me a return label and they never did, so service seems somewhat questionable.

I mailed mine last Monday and got my refund this afternoon.

I mailed mine on Friday and no refund yet.
