she said if it doesnt feel right to send it back but it looks ok though and its a bargain....DD says it looks better than my current coat .....aaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!!! WHY CANT I JUST MAKE A BLOODY DECISION! i keep taking it off the hanger, decide to keep, then change my mind and put it back in the box....then try it on again and then im back to square one.

i think it looks ok.
but the waist is high, its very fitted, yet it fits - no gaping or pulling, just feels an odd fit...

got to decide by tomorrow. i need to post the stuff thats going back back asap....

vicar, if you are in a quandary about the coat, i'd send it back. if i was spending £54 on a coat, i'd have to love it to warrant keeping it.

Well I have chanced using the prepaid label! But as it was only posted yesterday I can't say how successful it was :) Not very helpful, sorry. Re the coat - it looks OK from what I can see, but with it being black I can't really tell as I can't make out the fit as such. But I would want to be sure too. Is the fact that it was so reduced impacting on your decision? Would you be having the same quandary if it was a £54 coat that you'd paid £54 for? (You know what I mean!)

i keep veering between saying im sending it back and saying im keeping it....

it actually looks ok, nice even. but its far more fitted than any of my other coats, and because its so fitted it feels sort of - restrictive - around the very high waist line.

ive decided that im going to make a decision tomorrow!

I have decided to keep my princess coat, it looks nice, but is very fitted around the waist. It will definitely be an evening only type coat though- I couldn't get a jumper under it!! (silky tops and dresses only unless I manage to shed a few pounds!)

it is a nice coat though, it's smart but would also look good with jeans. i would have been tempted if they'd done it in a beige/tan, the cream is too pale for me and i don't do black.

i have also decided to keep mine but i got the L and so a jumper does fit under mine - its become my new day winter coat - wore it today in fact.

My mate who is always very honest about what i wear really liked it. ive just returned all the other stuff -the 2 L finchley dresses and the jumper.

Well, I have just managed to order a Small in the Roebuck Finchley dress. This will be the THIRD one I've ordered so if I don't end up with one that fits I'm going into meltdown!

How did you manage that sparkle, did you ring them?

My Farrell jersey twist dresses are staying as they are so bargainous. I think they would look fine on someone shorter than me, the shaping for the hips sits at my waist and sticks out a bit, but I am 5'8" with a long body. I'm going to have the waist taken in slightly by my Mum.

The hide bag is going back though.

trixy, I have been refreshing that page every half hour that I'm at home & they just had one appear! (I think somebody upthread returned one at the end of last week?) It literally must've been one as I checked shortly after & they'd all gone again.

Has anyone had any problems with wrongly sized stuff from GP? I had to send a top back as although it said it was a medium on the packet and label the stitched label inside showed it was a XS. Just received the replacement and its a medium according to all the packaging but it's actually an XL! Am not happy- Am I just super unlucky?

Have just bought Noelle cowl neck dress in black for £16 (ignoring the dry clean only label) Will hand wash and hope for the best
