Hi everyone. Glad to hear everyone got back safely. And only one 'never drinking again' comment!

On my lunch break wanting to report on my fabulous new Whistles outfit, and LKB mid heels. Have been sashaying around all morning, and my feet don't even hurt today!

Back later..

carciofi · 10/10/2011 13:41

Hey, having a crappy day here with burst pipes, flooded kitchen and all the major kitchen appliances now not working but just wanted to tell Annie, 2ABDIS for10% off Celtic Sheepskin, valid until 31/10.

Hello all

SO disappointed to miss the MU, am definitely coming to the next one. Baby was fractious and woke a few times that evening so was right decision. Glad you all had a great time, outfits sound fab!

Very little S&B news here, bought a plaid shirt from Uniqlo the other day but that's about it!

Oh carciofi thats awful to hear. How disruptive to family life too on top of DH being so busy. Hope it can all get sorted very soon.

Ikea has all their xmas stuff in, nothing really caught my eye tho, not even the wrapping paper and ribbon.

Is anyone else tired and grumpy today? I need to allow 3 days to get over a night out these days!

redllamayellowllama · 10/10/2011 13:59

V tired and grumpy here - and i disappeared early (although went on elsewhere). Next MU will see me staying out much longer - bad organisation on my part.

Carciofi, that is really crappy - hope it can be remedied quickly as must be causing all kinds of chaos.

I'm coveting Bloss' slinky top after she looked so, well, slinky in it! Popping in to town for an optician's appt now, am sure a concession will be in the vicinity.

FritziGreenEyes · 10/10/2011 16:13

annie That is a cute dress. I think I would rather wear it with opaques and boots than with nude heels.

ollie Well done for getting a pair of the famous M&S patent shoes! They were sold out in my size at Oxford St. store. Did you see the lace dress you linked to the other day? I couldn't find it in the store and was a bit exhausted by the time I got to the end of Oxford St.

amber Hope baby is making a quick recovery. Hope we'll meet you next time.

carciofi Queen of discount codes Smile. Sounds like a nightmare! Hope everything gets sorted soon.

FritziGreenEyes · 10/10/2011 16:15

ollie Were those the scarves you mentioned you saw at JL?

carciofi · 10/10/2011 16:25

I'd like to see the slinky top linky. :)

Lol at pingy elastic feet!

Plumber and electrician just left, everything is working but place is a tip now. DD1 is furious as we had to cancel her playdate. I am definitely having a glass of wine tonight!

Ollie, it always takes me a couple of days to get over having anything more than two glasses of wine.

Bought two tops as Me & Em have a 10% off offer and are giving a £20 voucher when you spend over £50. The code is AWVP11 They are really soft and a nice length. I keep mixing my tops up with the DDs and shrinking them in the dryer.

Zembo, nice to hear from you and I love your bag.

carciofi · 10/10/2011 16:26

Amber, hope your DD is ok now. I had to cancel DD2's 16 week jabs as the appointment was this afternoon. She is happy to have a reprieve!

carciofi · 10/10/2011 16:28

With the DDs tops, that is. I don't put my DDs in the dryer. :)

OllieinOrange · 10/10/2011 16:30

Fritzi yes yes - they are the scarves. I liked the cream and grey ones tho not sure about having rabbits round my neck (but fish I can do!) That Reiss dress is lovely - far nicer than the M&S one - would suit your lovely figure. It was in the Autograph section to the left as you went in on the ground floor. Didnt even try it on ás by the time I made it up there my nurofen had worn off I was loosing the will to live and had lost my shopping mojo! Shame about the feather skirt in TS.
I keep thinking about your lovely watch - what brand was it again? Am very tempted to ask DH for one for bday/xmas as I loved the grey wraparound strap on it.

rufus101 · 10/10/2011 16:37

I really like it too Marsha. Think my sister is wrong and that I should go back!

OllieinOrange · 10/10/2011 16:42

Oh yes rufus - the blue in the dress is a lovely colour. Buy!

blossoming · 10/10/2011 16:49

carciofi, what an awful day. Things can only get better I'm sure. Especially if there is wine involved! If you can be bothered with the dreadful website it is the sierra slinky tee, which looks ridiculous on the posing model. Wish I'd had more time to look in the St Christopher's Place store as I think they are doing a bloss friendly season!

blossoming · 10/10/2011 16:53

It looks so dreadful, I think I am goin off it!

FritziGreenEyes · 10/10/2011 16:53

reine Wow, those are some trousers! But may I remind you that it was you who got chatted up by guy in bar on Sat Grin. I am trying to think of an occasion other than next meet up in London with a group of uber-stylish ladies where those trousers would be appropriate... Next PTA meeting, Christmas Carol concert, dinner with in-laws. I can just imagine the Shock Hmm Biscuit

FritziGreenEyes · 10/10/2011 16:54

Can someone please direct me to rufus' dress? Can't find the link...

FritziGreenEyes · 10/10/2011 16:56

bloss How can they make that top look so awful on their website when you looked so swish and fab in it?

notyummy · 10/10/2011 17:01

What is it with the Whistles models?? Maybe I am just not edgy enough, but they always look like they have been slightly taken by surprise - like the real model didn't show up, so the work experience girl put some slap on and lolled around instead. Hmm

MarshaBrady · 10/10/2011 17:05

Fritzi have pm'd you. Hope you like it!....

Love the tweed dress Anniemac. Would look fab on you.
