marsha The things they say and words they come up with, just adorable. I actually started to write down some of DD's "special words" because I'm sure I won't be able to remember them later.
After breakfast yesterday I made a tour through the shops along Piccadilly, Regent St. and Oxford St. ending my tour at Selfriges. Like portia I didn't buy anything. Err, except for a butter dish and a lunchbag for DD at John Lewis
.
Spent a long time in Waterstones/Piccadilly, which at 11am on a Sunday was deserted and lovely and quiet like a library.
Next stop Anthropologie. They have lots of very nice skinny belts. Had to buy a pair of cheap but glam sunglasses there as I had left mine at home. I feel almost naked without sunglasses on a sunny-ish day. I'm not really into their clothes but love to have a wander through the shop.
Loved this dress at Reiss but they didn't have my size. They also had the softest, most gorgeous leather jackets (in case anyone is looking for on).
Went to Hoss on Regent St. but was really underwhelmed. Colours very boring and a lot of very shapeless dresses. Used to love that brand so much and loved their spring/summer stuff last year.
Then on to Topshop where I wanted to hunt down the feather skirt. Haven't been to Topshop in ten years I think but got excellent CS from a sales girl who looked about 12-years-old but was very efficient and friendly. Unfortunately they don't stock the skirt anymore. Anyone looking for a boucle jacket: I thought this looked very chic and would work well with pencil skirts or jeans.
Lots of gorgeous cashmere sweaters in Uniqlo in all colours of the rainbow.
Had a look at the Joseph collection in Selfridges and they also had some seperates in the gorgeous lipstick red of emo's fab dress.
Sorry for long, long post.... Feel free to skip smile
