£8 in Debenhams, I cant remember the exact price, but it was around that.
£8 at a stall in one of the local shopping malls. She was very good.

I don't mind having my eyebrows done in public, but they offer the full men of facial hair removal, I couldn't imagine having my upper lip there!

Soups · 19/05/2011 14:29

Sorry, I'm in the Thames Valley.

JohnniesBitch · 19/05/2011 14:31

I pay £7 for eyebrows in beauty mahal, a walk in threading bar, whihc have several stalls around the town centre too. staff usually rude but very quick and a good shape so stick with being ignored and spoken over and hand held out for money with no acknowledgment Blush

fluffles · 19/05/2011 14:35

yikes! i paid much more than that... but as a first-timer i went to a beauty salon i know and trust.. the girl was lovely, but i bet the salon take a massive cut from her.

£3.50 in north London. Even cheaper if I am getting other bits waxed/threaded, they usually knock a few quid off the total.

It's been a while though, I really should book an appointment...

Fimbo · 19/05/2011 14:38

I was about £8 last time I got it done in Superdrug! You get given a loyalty card though and the 10th visit is free.

First time I had it done in a department store, the girl caught me unawares and asked if I wanted my lip done. Ohhhhhhhhh bloody nora, it stung. Was like an elastic band being twanged against your face. Have never had it done again!

monkey9237 · 19/05/2011 14:49

I pay £4.50 in local asian-owned salon, i love the way threading looks, my eyebrows are done so they are not too thin, and frame my face better than I could ever do myself! Its £7.50 with the upper lip too, but as Fimbo says, its sooooo painful that I only get my brows done. Cheap!!

WillbeanChariot · 19/05/2011 14:51

I get my upper lip done [hardcore emoticon]. It makes my eyes water but it works and it lasts.

chrisrobin · 19/05/2011 14:56

£6 in an independent shop in the West Midlands, it lasts for ages and the 6th visit is free.

apple99 · 19/05/2011 14:57

I pay £14 in a salon in town centre for threading and brow tint, I think just to have threaded in £8. I got handed a card this week when in town and my local Toni & Guy are now offering eyebrow threading for £10. I am in the north west.

Rannaldini · 19/05/2011 15:32

£17 shavata belfast

Rannaldini · 19/05/2011 15:33

get tem tinted too but that is an extra 13£ perhaps I'm being ripped off??

Pagwatch · 19/05/2011 15:35

£12 in our high street which is very high end/expensive.
But it is very convenient and you get a loyalty card . Every five treatment earns you a free go p,us an eyebrow or eyelash tint plus a tache threading [ouch]

Al0uiseG · 19/05/2011 15:38

£85 That's for 6 eyebrow threads and 6 upper lips. I'm obviously being shafted royally but it's one of two similarly priced department stores.

shineoncrazydiam0nd · 19/05/2011 15:39

£13

Pagwatch · 19/05/2011 15:44

I guess getting shafted royally as well makes it slightly better value alouisg

virgo1979 · 19/05/2011 15:50

£2.50 from the only indian woman in my area who does it. Bargain. I suggest you find your local 'asian area' and look for beauty salons there, you wouldnt pay more than a fiver. Honestly, they see you coming if you pay that much in department stores....

ChippedChinaTeaCup · 19/05/2011 16:03

£4 on an asian stall in our local market (north london)

MoonGirl1981 · 19/05/2011 16:17

£3. Clapham, London.

Was with my Sil, no idea what it costs where I live (Wiltshire).

Al0uiseG · 19/05/2011 18:36

I live in North Essex, there isn't an Asian area!

MrsCampbellBlack · 19/05/2011 18:38

£17 harvey nichols in bristol at the Blink bar - also do loyalty system and they're very good.

corinewmoon · 19/05/2011 18:38

£3.00 in a stall in the mall in harrow, £7.00 with an eyebrow tint.
I think i once paid 2.50 in a market in south harrow.

PheasantPlucker · 19/05/2011 18:41

Al0uiseG · 19/05/2011 18:44
