Bargain ballet flats!

So DH dragged me to TK Maxx - he's a bit obsessed.

Anyway they had Bloch ballet flats reduced from £130 to £24!

I'm obsessed with good quality ballet flats so got 3 pairs: a real snakeskin pair, a brown leather pair and a grey nubuck pair with feathers on Smile They had these ones in cream and black too, which I resisted.

They are a-may-zing. No words to describe the comfort and beauty.

kittya mine are from London. I bought a pair last year from the one that is a depressing hell hole in Leyton and I bought a pair last week from the one on Charing X road.

They had quite a few in but I think they may have sold out quickly.

kittya · 07/04/2011 15:29

anyone tried Hatfield?

partyhats · 07/04/2011 17:05

I'm desperate for a pair!!!!
Saw a size 5 pair in Staines yesterday, they looked v comfy and well made. I too had never heard of them before and am now obsessed!
Am wondering whether to drag the 3 dcs to Windsor tommorow to have a look. I like the grey and black ones.

Oh no, Kittya I'm assuming you made a special journey. I've been in three times and only the last one was successful - the day I posted about the brown bonanza.

Another reminder to check the clearance section. I just got a size 3 grey patent for DD for £18

kittya · 08/04/2011 11:15

Im just not sure where to go in the London region!

RamblingRosa · 08/04/2011 11:31

What size are you again Kittya? Do you want me to check in the Charing X Road branch?

Not sure where in London you are but Wood Green can be a surprise goldmine. As can Leyton.

kittya · 08/04/2011 11:41

Only if you are there, that would be great.

Im more Harrow.

RamblingRosa · 08/04/2011 12:01

I probably won't go today but I'll go next week and keep an eye out for you.

moragbellingham · 08/04/2011 18:23

Anyone finding a difference in the sizing with the Arabian (harder soles, snakeskin) ones and the patent?
I was a 4 in the patent and the Arabian are killing my big toe joint for some reasonConfused

moragbellingham · 08/04/2011 18:24

Wood Green eh?mmmmm

phooey · 08/04/2011 22:33

Yeah the patent ones def seem bigger - they felt like big slippers in the shop so I didn't get them, despite them having the cream / white ones in. I should've looked down a size I guess.

I bought a petrol blue patent pair today for £27.99. They said size 7 and I am an 8 but they fit perfectly.

OhCobblers · 09/04/2011 21:24

i have my normal size in the patent 2 tone but half a size bigger in the matt -took mumsnet's advice before buyimg! Both sizes just as comfy. bought plain patent more recently and normal size seems a little big but not a massive difference. Still looking for peep toe and anastascia style - have looked at 5 local ones in the last week and nada!
