Bargain ballet flats!

So DH dragged me to TK Maxx - he's a bit obsessed.

Anyway they had Bloch ballet flats reduced from £130 to £24!

I'm obsessed with good quality ballet flats so got 3 pairs: a real snakeskin pair, a brown leather pair and a grey nubuck pair with feathers on They had these ones in cream and black too, which I resisted.

They are a-may-zing. No words to describe the comfort and beauty.

I see eBay has been now been flooded by Bloch ballet flats!

@ all the Ebay profit making shoe stealing bastards.

My tkmaxx had purple,violet/black, & fushia pink in sizes 4,5,6 and 6.5.

Still on the lookout for grey though!

I went into my local T K Maxx yesterday and they had size 6.5 and 7's in petrol blue, cerise, cerise & navy and lovely black ones with a rosette on the front. I tried them on and whilst they felt great, I think the stitching at the side especially where they kind of fold up would irritate my feet. They were £27.99

This was Norwich Castle Mall (we have 2 stores!).

I always have a look in my TK Maxx for Blochs and have never seen them - until this weekend! I bought some for £24.99, they are purple leather. There were pink and a kind of teal patent as well. Bizarrely, I tried on a size 4 which fitted, and bought size 5.5 which felt like the exact same size??? (In different colours)

my nearest one would be Harrow but I cant face going there, its always like a madhouse.

Kittya, I checked harrow at the weekend and nowt, but uxbridge had cerise and the black pompom ones in five, four and three, and one cerise in 7. Too big for me, I think I need 39.5 :-(

BTW having seen the pompom ones, my kingdom to anyone who can locate, buy and post me some in a 39.5... Bloody Mumsnet, hadn't heard of them a week ago and now I'm obsessed

I'll have a look when I return 2 of my 3 pairs to BC.
So, a 38 and a 39.5? They didn't have any at all last time which is weird.

why are you returning them?

Cos I bought 3 pairs in varying shades of brown with one mental toddler running up and down the aisles "hiding" from me. Very flustered and I couldn't decide!

I've never seen these in my local branch (Hicksville Cheltenham). Admittedly I don't get there often, but I never even see them in the size 3 section. I wonder if you could phone ahead to see if they're stocking them? < plots >

Those pombear pompom ones do sound lovely. If anyone spots them in a 37, let me know! The snakeskin ones rubbed as they're a 38. They look fab though! Living in my plain brown leather ones.

fimbo I went to the Norwich one near Toys'r'us today and they had mint, fuschia and sparkly grey.

I got the pink - lovely and summery - leaving sizes 4, 5 & 7 in store. Might have to pop to the mall tomorrow as petrol blue sounds lovely!

Kittya - I found I needed to go half a size down in the patent ones. However, on Monday I tried a pair of the regular leather ones and really needed my usual size (naturally, they had the size below and the size above..... )
