I'm size 14/16, 5 foot 4. Longish dark hair. Like to hide arms and tummy. Not great legs but who cares about that? Early spring wedding - posh. What can I wear?

OP posts:

They linked it here www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-45867742

Aparently the OP should have just announced she was pregnant!

90percentvodka10percenthuman · 16/10/2018 00:27

I’d love to know how it turned out too

DianaT1969 · 16/10/2018 00:43

Glamour pinup dresses? Like this www.burlesquebaby.com.au/burlesque-dresses.html

Or pure white with a lot of tulle and a tiara

and as a wedding gift a poster of the kids, or even better bed sheets with the pictures of the kids

DistanceCall · 16/10/2018 01:45

BOOBAGE.

DistanceCall · 16/10/2018 01:46

Argh, hate zombi threads. Perhaps the @MamaChocolat will be back and tell us how it went?

DirtyThirties · 16/10/2018 02:07

Came via BBCs article on Megan Markle's pregnancy announcement too... what happened OP?!

KingIrving · 16/10/2018 02:09

Gosh! I fell for it! Zombie thread!!!!

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 16/10/2018 07:25

I'm a nice person

Nope. Anyone who wants to upstage a bride is, by definition, not a nice person. Much better not to go to the wedding given your feelings.

grumiosmum · 16/10/2018 07:30

ZOMBIE THREAD!

LittleBookofCalm · 16/10/2018 07:57

i wondered why none of the links wouldnt open, then I clocked the date

WhatchaMaCalllit · 16/10/2018 08:50

This is actually quite sad that the BBC has someone trawling the internet for stories that are 7 or 8 years old to use in their current stories....

Snowymountainsalways · 16/10/2018 09:24

Ruining her wedding day in whatever form will not enhance family relations, if you don't think you can manage to be civil it would be wise not to attend at all and continue to support his teen children.

By attending the wedding you are giving your support indirectly. A far more powerful message would be not to go, and be honest about why.

Miladymilord · 16/10/2018 09:38

god there are some fucking lazy journalists out there

JayFul · 16/10/2018 09:43

Your name's not Meghan is it?

Miladymilord · 16/10/2018 09:44

I doubt it, unless Meghan has the gift of second sight.

Trumpton · 16/10/2018 09:57

@midsomer
What a horrible thing to write.
There’s lots of women have those dimensions.

lottiegarbanzo · 16/10/2018 10:19

I think you need to look the essence of upstandingness, decorum, warmth and reliability. As a contrast. Or, you could go as Mary Poppins.

lottiegarbanzo · 16/10/2018 10:20

Whaaat! 2011???

MsLexic · 16/10/2018 10:28

Wear something horrible and get in all the photos.

JayFul · 16/10/2018 10:58

@DisrespectfulAdultFemale I thought like you, but then saw her explanation of what an awful person the bride is. Personally I would just stay away, that would send more of a message.
