Does this dress exist?

TethHearseEnd · 30/10/2010 13:35

...Or is it only in my mind?

I want a dress which is:

-Warm (preferably knitted)
-Has long sleeves (wrist length)
-Is knee or mid calf length
-Has a straight skirt (not flared)

I think I want black, but am open to suggestion.

I am also open to different neck styles.

Why is it so hard to find?

Can anyone help?

Thanks tmmj, but that's too short- it has to be knee or mid calf length as my thighs would frighten children.

from the MN uniform supplier...

TethHearseEnd · 30/10/2010 13:46

I'm afraid that has a flared skirt- I really want straight.

Sorry.

Welcome to my world Grin

Don't like the empire line of the second Boden one, sorry FakePlastic.

I just want a simple up-and-down dress Sad

Sorry mine won't go to the actual dress, but there's a few on the esprit site.

What'swrong, your link goes to the homepage... did you mean this one? It's nearly right, but too farking short.

fuzzy, boden too flared; printed too printed (needs to be plain); slash neck would be perfect if it wasn't buttock skimming and warehouse midi one would actually be very good- but out of stock in my size (16).

Thank you for trying.

x post with everyone.

New look one = nice but hate cable knit.
stripe one = too short
Nougat one = lovely shape, but want plain
oasis = not keen on pattern
jaeger = LOVE but can't afford that much Sad £100 max. Sorry, should've said.

Really appreciate you looking. Am impressed Smile

Don't know which one you meant, Tethers, as your link does the same thing. I meant the one with the shiny ribbon belt, but there were a few on that website I thought.

How much is your limit? Am thinking Gap.

TethHearseEnd · 30/10/2010 14:05

Sorry, I really hate that boden one Grin- don't like the empire line and it's too flared.

I'd rather look fat in a straight skirt than thin in that dress. Tis vile Grin

I absolutely love this one but it's too expensive. Am having a Jim Bowen-style "Look at what you could've won" moment. Ditto the Jaeger.

£100 max WhatsWrong... I thought of Gap, but they all seem to finish above the knee...

Was thinking of the polo necked one on the espirit site... TBH though, they're all too short.
