I loovvve primark... OK... some of the stuff is bit naff... but you get that everywhere...

Its the one of the only places that I can buy Jeans or Slacks that fit me...

Queues are awful I agree and the staff and a bit simple... (no offence meant) but I love it and don't mind admitting it...

Ulysees · 16/09/2005 18:06

ooo jackstini, how do you find next clearance shops?

peckarollover · 16/09/2005 18:06

im not letting the waistcoat one go!

peckarollover · 16/09/2005 18:07

these are nice

GeraldGiraffe · 16/09/2005 18:13

i don't actually think Primark is a bargain. i've only been once and all the stuff was cheap crap i wouldn't have taken home if they'd paid me. And all the stitching and fabrics seemed really shoddy.

GeraldGiraffe · 16/09/2005 18:17

I knew they were useful for something! Don't think they'll be able to sell them now.....

Can someone please call the police, i seem to have suffered an unprovoked attack..........

that made no sense to me cod

i like primark because what i am buying there i wouldnt want or need it to last throughout the years - it would be very quickly out of ffashion or i would be very quickly bored

GeraldGiraffe · 16/09/2005 18:20

yes but if it doesn';t even survive one wash or if it looks shoddy surely it defeats the object of going there and suffering the hoi polloi?

i personally buy most my stuff at monsoon and new look but kids get stuff from primark, haha

peckarollover · 16/09/2005 18:24

cod i can assure you that i dont look a twat - i think that i am quite good at picking and choosing which bits i will go with

geraldgiraffe - i wouldnt wear it if it looked shoddy - the vast majority of the stuff does but some bits teamed with non primark stuff is fine and so far i havent had anything that hasnt washed well

ROFL at your original post ww. Would you have th courage to begin such a thread under your usual name?
Have never ventured in myself and probably never will now, no matter how hard times get.

peckarollover · 16/09/2005 18:27

I recall a parent's meeting at our local school when three women turned up in the same, showy but tacky, Primark coat.
