i got a wrap dress from them last summer
loads of us on mumsnet were on about it
where have you been?

rosie17 · 05/10/2010 13:31

Yes, black pencil skirt and black ruched dress and they are lovely. Last year I brought the roll necks plus scoop neck tops all good layering pieces.

TracyK · 05/10/2010 13:34

ggirl - I was just about to come and post that Grin

TracyK - the marilyn skirt is particularly good...

topsi · 05/10/2010 18:57

I am addicted!! Have got their extra long t shirt - could be worn as a dress if you have the figure, polo neck, wrap dress, coat from last season in the sale, jeans, cardigan which came to day and is lovely, scarf, leather jacket, leggins. The quality and fit is great, the leggins have been worn and washed loads and are still as good as new.

Whoamireally · 05/10/2010 19:28

I adored all my IO maternity wear, managed to make me look supergorgeous despite elephantesque stature. Have tried desperately to get something in the 60% off sale - was spitting feathers when I saw the asymmetric dress in the sale but it sold out almost as soon as it went in the sale Angry

TrillianAstra · 05/10/2010 19:43

Link some nice things then....

topsi · 05/10/2010 20:19

oooo

ahhh

I want!

cornsilk · 05/10/2010 20:23

you have to keep your eye on the sale - sometimes things come back into stock

loobylu3 · 05/10/2010 20:29

I love IO too- bought a few maternity items there previously.

They are v expensive but so flattering compared to other some other mat. ranges.

I love their ruched dress, essential/ pencil skirt and the silk blouse- maybe in the sale if still left..

The only thing I did notice is that, when they had the 25% discount on a few days ago, the ruched dress was unavailable in my size and now it is due later in the month- call me cynical...

cornsilk · 05/10/2010 20:32

oooh I wanted the pink shift dress BUT it was out of stock BUT there was already one in my basket and it went through Wink
The moral is - fill yer basket

netbook · 05/10/2010 20:42

I'm sitting in my cosy cardi atm, tis lovely Grin

managed to get it for 33% off too! It's worth getting on their mailing list

mrmagoo · 05/10/2010 22:30

Hmm, I bought that Cable Cosy thing but the shape reminded me of the carapace of a giant insect and had to go back.

mrmagoo · 05/10/2010 22:30

It had to go back. Not me.

polyhymnia · 05/10/2010 23:16

Have any of you bought in largest size - G, or even one smaller thasn that ? If so, interested in what you thought. Some of their things do look good.

brimfull · 05/10/2010 23:37

I got wrap dress in F , really good fit , quite generous sizing

topsi · 06/10/2010 07:02

ooo got my cardi, its lovely, got it in a small but it is still a generous size, may just need the belt to go with it.........

mistressploppy · 06/10/2010 09:27

Ooh, I'm nearly 6ft and built like a tank somewhat Junoesque (size 16) - will the stuff fit me, do you think? Not particularly large of nork, more bum...

TracyK · 06/10/2010 12:46

still waiting for my pink shift dress

omnishambles · 06/10/2010 18:26

I have a 50quid voucher to spend - might get the wide trews in the sale but might hold out for summat else...

topsi · 06/10/2010 18:27

Envy at your pink shift dress Cornsilk

cornsilk · 06/10/2010 18:48

haven't got it yet topsi!

higgle · 07/10/2010 07:12

Would the ruched dress and obi belt look good with these Bertie The shoes/boots in the IO pictures would look chunky on me. I would be buying with a couple of smart pre Christmas lunches and our work evening out ( only gastro pub meal ) in mind.

topsi · 07/10/2010 07:52

They are not my kind of thing, I kind of think boots should be boots if you see what I mean, but I think they would go. What would you do about tights though, won't they look a bit strange with a bit poking out the front and back?
I would love the ruched dress and belt!
I am going to a wedding in November, quite a relaxed affair. What could I wear? I do love the printed silk numbers but the long dress would be too dressy and the short one probably too short.
