No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Last night I openly vaped in the pub! I also spotted 2 other vapers. We nodded at each other.

Oh that's a point - can you vape anywhere? Is there anywhere it's not allowed? On a plane perhaps?

There are lots of places where it's not allowed.

Unlike smoking, it is not illegal to vape in enclosed public places but individual premises can set their own rules. It's lovely being able to vape indoors in the pub but I would always ask at the bar first and even then I wouldn't if it was very crowded or if people were eating near me.

As far as I know most airlines have banned vaping during flights you can always nip to the loo for a quick stealth vape

Plenty regarding the planes, do you think the e-liquid would be classed as flammable and therefore dangerous? I was having this argument friendly chat with someone and they said it was definitely classed as an explosive!!
(Plus you can only have so much liquid in your hand baggage can't you...)

No it's not classed as an flammable but it might be classed as a poison. You should be OK taking it in hand luggage as long as you don't have more than 100ml in a bottle. I know you're not supposed to put the batteries in hold luggage any more. I haven't flown for a while and I'm not up on the latest with various airlines' rules. A few months ago people's experiences seemed to vary widely. It's probably worth looking at one of the vaping forums (ukvapers, planet of the vapes, AAEC) for up-to-date advice.

How on earth can anyone classify VG and PG as an explosive? Definitely not flammable (try setting light to some). Maybe this person you were talking to thought the vapour was combustion smoke of some kind?

I'm pretty sure some people have posted here who have taken their e-cigs and liquid in hand baggage, a bottle is only 10ml and the max per bottle in hand baggage is 100 ml - can't see myself ever using that much on a single holiday, and anyway would put most in my hold baggage

I remember once when I was sending some eliquid to one of you lovely lot, it took an age to convince the post office staff that it wasn't some sort of lighter fuel.

Not much to contribute to thread today; just want to say am day 6 off the cigs and really enjoying vaping. I like not having to stand in the cold and not reeking. Gums are a little sore and am still coughing but even this is a positive - I'm healing

i charged my e cig and switched it on to see if it was working (there is no liquid in side) but it started smoking so I quickly switched it off but there was a burning smell and I unscrewed it and it smelt burnt in the glass bit ( I have an Aspire with a mini nautilus tank) im scared I've damaged it now please tell me I havent ?

also my e liquid arrived today it leaked in the packaging do I need to wear gloves to handle it? I ordered rhubarb crumble and custard it's been pre steeped already from the Alchemist but they say to still steep for an additional 4 - 5 days I really wanted to start vaping today is it really necessary has anyone ordered that flavour from them?

Fran that is really good I really want to be off the cigs and I just want to start vaping.

Well done Fran! 4 days for me now and I do fancy a cig but the vaping means I'm not getting excruciating cravings like I have in the past. It's all far more manageable.

PolterGoose I really love this Aspire I started off with low voltage and couldn't really taste the rhubarb flavour but I upped it to 4.8 and it tastes so much better. I do think the PG is a bit high for me (70 PG 30VG) as it makes me cough when I inhale.

The e liquids I orderd from onepoundliquid has a 60PG 40VG so hopefully it won't be as strong can't wait to try them.

I was thinking I would have to empty out and waste the liquid I already have.
so these disposables fit on the aspire?
I'm going to try and find the GS-H2s now and have a look as the mini nautilus tank is quite expensive to replace.

Oohh go me my battery wasn't charging and I checked the pin was able to pull it a bit and its charging now ( hoping that's the problem )I will feel well chuffed it does as its my biggest battery and I'm not mega techical

Well that's it. I've done stuff with coils, got £30 worth of accessories arriving tomorrow and have my eye on one of them ileaf things. I'm a vaper, a proper vaper. 10 days in, 200 fags at least not smoked.

Also, I've been watching vaping stuff on youtube!! I'm obsessed ;)
