As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

I would like to say it's just the vino but I can tell the cape is different Confused

BeezerBubble · 12/12/2015 01:16

In theory shouldn't matter which tank is used with which battery. Only thing that should change is the airflow. Evods get it from the bottom so what you screw it on will have an effect, adapters often interfere. I use a kanger emow on my istick but nautilus mini seems popular.
We've been vaping for 3 1/2 years so have dozens of tanks, batteries, wires etc in a big box, Mrs Bubble has two tanks on the go and I've got five with different flavours. Never knew quitting smoking could be fun 😀

Bad news for vapers and smokers, EU Advocate General completely ignored Totally Wicked's legal and scientific objections to TPD article 20 and relied on tired old gateways and think of the children.
Final decision due early next year but a big blow to citizens, big success for the tobacco industry.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 23/12/2015 14:47

Shit Sad

Stoneagemum · 23/12/2015 21:51

Well I upgraded today to the mini nautilus tank and I like it so much more than the basic (evod?) tanks.
I wish I had bought this set up in the beginning, for the money I wasted on the stick battery and tanks only to totally replace after 3 1/2 weeks Confused

On the plus point I haven't had a stinky for 3 weeks and by Feb I will be at break even cost wise

I just could of done with out the extra expense at this time of year. On the plus side I gave my best friend my stick battery and 1 evod tank as a kind of xmas pressie, not that I would usually spend that amount on her, we are usual a box of chocs level of gift giving.

ditavonteesed · 02/01/2016 12:53

and I jiust checked the aspire website and the nautiluses are definatly genuine, I was a bit worried after I set them up and they both leaked the entire contents of the tank onto my desk, the coils were in too tight, took them to bits gave them a good clean and changed the coils. Loving the evic so far.

I am loving the idea of having 3 on the go so I can change flavours every 5minutes, sure the novelty will wear off. I get the impression the coils the nautilus come with arent as good as the replacement ones.

Snowyxmastree · 05/01/2016 13:15

Hello, I'd like to join your group if that ok?
No idea where it came from but in the middle of the night a few days ago I thought I'd give vaping a go.
Posted for advice as had no idea what it was all. Thank you to anyone who replied and put me in the right direction.

I got a cheap starter set on eBay and 10 flavours from £1 liquid. Everything came a few hours ago and I went on YouTube and learn how to fill it.
Have tried berry and that's quite nice and Tobacco flavour and that is bloody awful. Reminds me of my ecig from a few years back that I had to get me through 24 hours in hosp.

It's been 2 hours without a cig and I'm really surprised.

I've come into it with a open mind and if I can cut down I will be really pleased. I would ideally like to cut by half with intentions to cut out real cigs completely!

magimedi · 05/01/2016 13:49

Lovely to 'see' you here, Snowy.

Well done on getting the kit & getting started.

Loads of us 'dual fuelled' when we started vaping & it took some people months & months to give up the last cig they had.

It took me about 2/3 weeks - it was the first cig of the day with coffee that was the hardest for me to give up! ANd - TMI alert - when I did give it up the ecig still had the laxative effect that the real one had!!

Don't forget that you can mix flavours - so you might like the tobacco with something else in it.

Welcome snowy!
I'm glad you've taken to it :)
I also bought mine on a whim, would've been happy if it cut down my smoking but I've completely quit for a year now.
As did my OH who had no intentions of quitting, but I let him use my spare kit and he stopped too :)

Snowyxmastree · 05/01/2016 14:15

That's great to hear dontneed.

I was just thinking to add something too it as I really can't stand the thought. No idea what as I've bought a real random selection.

I've bought a cheap starters kit and bought extra clear bits to try diff flavours if there awful can I wash them out?

magimedi · 05/01/2016 14:17

Yes - you can wash the tanks out with warm water.

Cotton buds are great for cleaning/drying - the cheaper ones are best as they are smaller.

ginmakesitallok · 05/01/2016 14:21

Yes you can just wash out any flavours you don't like.

I've been vaping for 2 and a half years now. Started on a whim, walked past an ecig stand and just thought that I'd give it a try. I smoked 30 a day, smoker for about 20 years. I've lit 2 cigarettes since then, taken 2 draws of each and then put them out. I have absolutely no desire to smoke again.

Good luck- hope you find it as easy as I did. My tip? Always have back up batteries and tanks!

Noideawhatusernametouse · 06/01/2016 13:13

Hi all. I ordered a couple of juices from an online store I've seen mentioned around at a pound each to try and save some money and now I can't get rid of the nasty aftertaste (I don't think they're suitable for my setup as I've not found any negative reviews) Do I need to change my coils do you think? I'm using one of these. I've emptied it out and wiped it out. I'm currently vaping bulletsberg which is quite minty to try and mask the taste while it burns off.

Tia

If the taste really doesn't go then you will need to change your coil. Hopefully the minty one will triumph!

Spot on Polter it's a 3.5v regulated sub ohm kit. Needs air holes wide open and lung hits to get the best out of it. Not really for newbies, shut off airflow makes it hotter and taste burnt.
