As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

Takes 1.5 ohm coils and has tight draw, not for lung hitters. Actually prefer that to ego ones I have, they're too loose for me.

ditavonteesed · 04/12/2015 19:14

sorry but meant to thanks thanks for the offer but its only for a spare anyway so I will get one to try next time I do an order from myepack. ordered a blue eleaf from fast tech today, is it usually about 3 months to come? exciting I will have totally forgotten about it by then so will be a lovely suprise.

BeezerBubble · 04/12/2015 19:34

Ordered heaps from fasttech, 2-6 weeks in my experience. Just watch for "ships in x business days" when you order. I now wait til they're in stock & "ships next day" to minimise wait then forget about it.

AryaForQueen · 04/12/2015 22:51

I ordered from fasttech on Halloween and it arrived on Tuesday this week, so just over 4 weeks, and that was dispatch in 2-3 days.

Happy birthday to me!

Very nice!

Happy Birthday - What is the top piece?

I wish I'd bought pink batteries - easier to find when I leave them in the wrong place!

Kangersubtank... Got the whole thing from Fast-tech so none of it is probably authentic!
Quite like the sub-ohm :)

ditavonteesed · 05/12/2015 19:46

oh I just ordered a battery from there as well that came up on a link, should I buy a different battery then or give it a try. I have a B&M shop round the corner so could get a battery from there.

Another fan of Torchy; on eBay his profile is bigfd_d . He either sells genuine quality gear or rewrapped Torchy branded quality gear.

7Days · 11/12/2015 22:13

I hope you guys don't mind me muscling in here. I've been lurking and now have the recommended istick &mini nautilus.

But a whinge! The last few days has nearly tipped me over the damn edge. Every fucking thing went wrong on my kit - and I've had it months now so familiar with it. I have had two - two - trips into town to try and sort it, doesn't sound like much but it's an hour each way and I've three preschoolers. So here I am, DP out, kids asleep, laptop and wine and a banjaxed kit. And 20 B&H Sad.

This and that got sorted, but all during the week different pieces got stuck, overtightened I suppose, and I've ended up ruining the tread of the tank with pliers. And lost the drip tip. I can still use it to an extent but it's awkward. It's irritating the fuck out of me, like when you want to do something boring but necessary and you can't just ring a number, speak to someone and get it sorted, you have to listen to automated speakers, log on having forgotten the password, apply for user id, printer is fucked etc.

Maybe I'm just an analogue person.

oooo that feels better

Stoneagemum · 12/12/2015 00:25

Hi new poster to this thread but hope you can help. I bought a starter kit from unique vapour a couple of weeks ago but after a week I went back to the shop for a better battery as the one in the starter kit didn't last a day. They sold me an istick 20 and I have been using that OK for a week or so.
Tonight my istick ran out and I have used my stick starter kit battery again and the 'hit' is so much better. What am I doing wrong with my istick?

BeezerBubble · 12/12/2015 00:42

Well if your kit is the one in the photo it will put out 3.7 volts. Set the istick to the same and it should vape the same although the 20w does suffer from being a bit overpowered ie puts out more volts than it should do on low power settings.

7Days · 12/12/2015 00:47

I dunno Stoneagemum, but I notice when I my istick runs down to about 20% it's not wortrh a damn, so an ordinary starter battery feels brilliant

Stoneagemum · 12/12/2015 00:49

Yes that is my starter kit but I put the I stick to anywhere between 3.8 & 4.2 and it does not feel the same as the starter

Stoneagemum · 12/12/2015 00:51

Hmm 7 may have it, a glass or 2 of vino, plus a low istick battery so the fresh starter gives a kick?

BeezerBubble · 12/12/2015 00:55

Maybe doesn't feel right cos I assume you have to use an adapter for the Evod? Maybe airflow is being restricted on the istick? Difficult to know how it doesn't feel right but try setting it to 3 volts and working up? Sorry, 3 questions there 😕

Stoneagemum · 12/12/2015 00:55

Sorry feel like I'm taking over the thread Blushbut could it be the tank? I'm using the same tanks on both batteries, with a converter thingy on the istick....?

7Days · 12/12/2015 00:56

I wonder is it the vino that makes everything seem ok??? Xmas Grin

Working for me at present

BeezerBubble · 12/12/2015 00:57

Istick is supposed to be regulated so whatever you set it at you get til it runs out. Your starter battery will start at 3.7 v and slowly drop to about 3.3 v then die.

Stoneagemum · 12/12/2015 00:59

X post breezer, so maybe a different tank for the istick? What is good and doesn't cost too much. I like a couple (or more) tanks so I can swap flavours. I'm new to this and don't want to go back to stinkies so I like to keep changing liquids to keep it new if you get what I mean?
