As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

Thanks Allergic, went to my local shop yesterday and got some more flavours, reduced my cigs by at least 5 yesterday, I'm happy with that hopefully I'll continue to gradual replace the cigs with vaping

magimedi · 18/04/2015 09:23

5 cigs less is great!

I dual fuelled for about 2 weeks & the last cig to go was the first one of the day with a cup of coffee.

This may be TMI but switching that fag to vaping did not, in any way, change the laxative effect of that first cig & coffee. (Which I was worried about!)

Hey all can I join in?

I gave up smoking and starting Vaping in March 2013.

Currently I'm trying to find where to buy coils for my Eleaf Istick Smile

TrinityRhino · 18/04/2015 09:32

Which doesn't make any sense cause that's the battery GrinI have an elegant tank I think.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 18/04/2015 10:36

Yay, welcome Trinity - I have an elegant tank I think.

Is that what it's called, or just a general description? Grin

McNo you're doing brilliantly! DH took a whole year to lose the last fag of the day. I think he had some sort of Proud Smoker thing going on.

magimedi · 18/04/2015 11:09

Well done, Trinity!

I am guessing that you have this tank:

Which is the 'pretty' mini nautilus. In which case you need coils as for a mini nautilus, which you can get from loads of places, vape escape being a good start.

I'm at 7 weeks today, hello to vapers old and new ;)

Yesterday my eleaf ran out of charge while I was at work! Oh the horror. And being an idiot I'd left the charging lead at home. I held firm though and vaped like mad woman when I got in from work.

magimedi · 18/04/2015 12:21

Well done on 7 weeks, crisp.

Never go out without a spare battery!! I get really worried if I don't have a spare on me.

chocolatelife · 18/04/2015 12:31

i run out of liquid at work once,

always have a bag full of liquid and a charger.
on this occasion I had to go the garage and buy an odd thing

TrinityRhino · 18/04/2015 12:36

On phone so I can't see pics. It was sold to me as an 'Elegant' It's pretty wide. I'll look at the pic when I get on my laptop later Smile

Have been looking at this site for years but only felt compelled to join as a result of these Vaping threads. I am a convert!! Have smoked for 30yrs (God that sounds awful!) and tried a Tablites cyclone and have not had a "stinkie" since Friday morning even though we had a very boozy curry night with friends on Friday night. Cannot believe that the cyclone is satisfying my habit. Just got to convince DH to convert now.

Wadingthroughsoup · 19/04/2015 21:01

Well done 4girls. Great, isn't it? I'd reached the point where I thought I'd never stop smoking (having tried NRT, Champix, hypnotherapy, Allen Carr...) And now I've swapped my fag addiction for an obsession with vaping instead. :) And these vaping threads are great, I agree. I've found so much excellent advice here.

magimedi · 20/04/2015 09:16

Well done 4girls

You might like to think about getting a spare battery so you don't have problems if yours runs out.

Ask any questions you want here - no question is too silly.

I smoked for 40 years before quitting nearly 3 years ago by vaping.

Hi all, well done to all those that have stopped, im still cutting down slowly, im really enjoying the vaping and have been having great fun buying liquids. Quick question - i have bought two bottles of ibreathe liquid from local corner shop, has anyone used the ibreathe liquid before?

I also nipped into the local vaping shop and had a look at the istick, if i can stop i will be treating myself to one :)

magimedi · 20/04/2015 13:32

Haven't used that liquid, mcNo. Most people have a bit of trail & error & experimenting before they find the ones they really like.

If you don't like a particular one, you can always ask if anyone on here wants to do a swap.

Hope the cutting down goes well - I 'dual fuelled' for a couple of weeks before switching to vaping & some people take longer.

I stick is lovely - clutching it as I post. Puff!

Thanks magimedi, i was really tempted today to buy it but i want to make sure I'm going to stop first.

TrinityRhino · 21/04/2015 11:32

Thats is an extrememly pretty tank and not what I have at all Grin

It has no writing on it, Its wide but not pretty like that one.

I wish I could take a pic

magimedi · 21/04/2015 17:03

Trinity, where did you get your tank from? Just ring or email them - am sure they will sell the coils.

Googling " elegant vape tanks" brings up loads of images - try that, maybe?

OP posts:
McNo · 22/04/2015 14:01

Can anyone recommend a shop for the istick and mini nautilus? I've looked at fast tech but have been put off by the reports of postage taking a very long time. I am really enjoying vaping and have only had one cig so far today :)

Iv just ordered with fast tech and hoping delivery doesn't take months, their prices are great. Just realised I ordered 1.6ohm coil replacements kit but the mini nautilus has 1.8ohm coil with it, does this matter? I'm a it confused about the coils
