As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

Yes, same people I think. Will look out for Barry! Their juices are nicer than the ones in the other place, I think.

Yes I know, I'm a wally. Just a bit socially anxious at times...although you wouldn't know it to meet me, I don't think.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 24/03/2015 09:45

Yay welcome Wading and well done!

I'm a bit scared of coming to Brighton too as I have never met People From The Internet before (yes I know I am also a Person From The Internet Grin)

We'll have a blast!

magimedi · 24/03/2015 10:13

The scaryness is half the fun!!

Remind me to tell you of my first ever internet meet up (not Mumsnet). It's a very funny (& happy) story, but it would out me totally if friends read it!

Same for me never having met any Mumsnetters (except my sister ofc Grin ). Also a tad apprehensive as so far (I think) I've got on OK with most people here, and would hate to spoil that!

I have met up with a few of the guys I've done on-line gaming with for years, and that went well.

BotoxBitch · 24/03/2015 22:06

Hi everyone :) really glad to have found this thread. I've been vaping for about 2 months Nd gradually without me even trying I've stopped smoking. It's great. I just need some advice re a new device. I just bought the very slim simple totally wicked Titan but the battery is shocking! I the went for the cirro one as it was just as the till at tesco but I find that's not getting me through the day either. Can anyone recommend a really good device, long lasting...

Wadingthroughsoup · 24/03/2015 22:25

Hi Botox :D I had the same problem with the first batteries I bought. I had two of them but it was getting ridiculous- I was constantly swapping them over. So I bought an EVOD Twist II which is a bigger battery and easily lasts the whole day.

But I am very much a rookie vaper so I'm sure the other vapers here will have lots of other suggestions!

Wadingthroughsoup · 25/03/2015 18:24

Vapers' tongue here. Most unchuffed. Back on the double menthol for me. GRRRRR.

Thanks Polter. It was the second time in as many weeks, but has passed now.

Does anyone know of a really good gingerbread flavour liquid?

samesizetoes · 26/03/2015 19:25

I see Grants vanilla custard is on sale in the morning. I haven't tried it before but I've heard the hype online. I like the sweet flavours I've tried so far so I'll try a bottle.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 26/03/2015 19:58

I like Joose Juice Gingerbread. It's cheap too so if you don't like it you haven't lost much.

BotoxBitch · 26/03/2015 21:20

I've just bought the MVP thanks, what atomisers / coil do you recommend?

Are there any atomisers/coils that reduce dry mouth? X

Yay well done wading. I've done internet meets, they're really not that bad. I haven't done a mumsnet meet yet though.

I'm loving the istick, even the coffee is tasting better. Nearly 12 weeks for me which is my longest non pregnant period without a rollie.

Wadingthroughsoup · 27/03/2015 21:14

Thank you Plenty, I'm going to order some of that- it IS very cheap!

I've had a poor experience with Alchemist's Cupboard. I ordered 5 juices from them last Friday, which arrived on Monday. Firstly, they were 18mg nicotine, and i'm sure I ordered 6mg. Even when I started vaping, I was using 12mg and have never used 18mg so just wouldn't have ordered that strength.
Secondly, one of the bottles had leaked in the envelope so was only 2/3 full and had made all the other bottles sticky. I've e-mailed them twice to ask if I could send the liquids back for refund/exhange. No reply to the e-mails. I phoned today and spoke to someone nice and helpful who said she wasn't sure but would get someone to call me back today. No callback. So I'm now quite pissed off and have posted on their FB page to ask for a response. Fingers crossed I'll get somewhere, otherwise that's £20 (literally) down the drain. Or maybe I can redistribute them to MN vapers!

ginmakesitallok · 28/03/2015 15:21

Just took say that I think that the guy from alchemist cupboard is a member on all about ecigs forum, you might get a response from him there? (Wouldn't advise going in there all guns blazing, they are a friendly bunch, but might circle the wagons if you do!)

Wadingthroughsoup · 28/03/2015 16:15

Thank you gin, but I was just coming back on here to say that all is resolved. I suspect the MD must have seen my FB post and he phoned an hour or so ago, apologising profusely for the lack of contact and explaining that there has been staff illness this week and a member of staff on paternity leave so they've had a very busy week. He was very, very nice and is going to send me the correct strength of juices next week. He reckons I did order the 18mg but wants to replace them anyway as one of them leaked. He said I don't need to return the stronger ones and can pass them onto someone, so if any of you lot would like ginger snaps, lemon meringue, blueberry bullhorn or Turkish delight in 18mg strength, PM me your address and I can send them!

crispandfruity · 28/03/2015 17:17

4 weeks today - woot! I've spent a chunk of what I saved last month on LOADS of new clothes today!!

Tipsykisses · 28/03/2015 20:53

Hey everyone !
Been a long time since I visited the vape Section but saw this on active so thought i would stop by to say hi to you all Smile

I'm still going strong on my MVP & naturevape tank with a recently added nautilus & pink ileaf from fasttech as my spares .

I've tried loads of different liquids & been very surprised at times with what became my ADV !

Starting to think about getting a rebuild able tank , not sure if it's worth the hassle with my daily set up working well but I'm still a flavour chaser so any if you out there rebuild what would you suggest ?
Would need to be simple & due to hand problems i may need to buy in ready made wire coils .

Wadingthroughsoup · 29/03/2015 23:04

Hello folks.

crispandfruity, well done on your 4 weeks and your celebratory clothes-buying :)

Hello Tipsy :)

I have a couple of questions too...still getting my head around all this and trying to understand the science!

I'm thinking of getting an iStick, since they seem so popular. And for new clearomizers, am tempted by the Naturevape mini, and/or the Mini Nautilus.

Are the Naturevape and Nautilus clearos both compatible with the iStick? And are they also compatible with the EVOD Twist I currently have?

Secondly, do both clearos take the same type/size of coil?

I have tried Googling for this info but it's such a minefield and I'm easily confused. I'm sorry for asking so many questions here...one day I hope to be someone who can provide answers!

Wadingthroughsoup · 29/03/2015 23:08

Ah....have just read elsewhere that the iStick has an ego 'threading connector' so I take it that whatever fits on there will also fit my EVOD.
