As the title says, thread about the different types of e-liquid containers that are attached to batteries.

Cartomisers are the sealed disposable containers used in cigalike devices. They are prefilled with the liquid and have a built in atomiser to vaporise the liquid

Clearos, clearomisers and tanks are different names for the same thing, a refillable container for the liquid which also has an atomiser - though in many cases this atomiser can be replaced or even "rebuilt" i.e. the coil and wick replaced.

So they are removable mouthpieces on the 2 just so you can get a mouthpiece you like I assume, not so you can fill from the top?

Because I'm lazy, Plenty! Also, because when you unscrew the bottom to refill, you've got to put it down somewhere and so you need a bit of tissue/kitchen towel to put it on or it drips liquid and the wicks are wet too and then you've got to clean all that up! If you have a top filler, the mouthpiece is much cleaner so you can just put it down, refill and then screw it on again. No cleaning!

You need a vape sponge cantabile

Get a cellulose sponge and cut some slots in it with a sharp knife. you can stick the upside down clearo in one slot and the atomiser in another. No mess and it sucks all the gurgles out of the coil.

The vape sponge is a brilliant idea! I had a gurgling coil yesterday and ended up throwing it out in despair and bunging a new one in.

I would love to say it was my brilliant idea, but it isn't, it's from this blog. I can also recommend the tricks with the drinking straw and cotton bud.

Yes, Plenty! Remember you linked to that before, but I'd forgotten about it! I shall have one in the kitchen, one in the sittingroom, and one upstairs! DH will laugh at me, as will dd. Sometimes, I can really see the point of having a bedsit . When dd goes off to uni (a few years to go yet) I shall float the idea past dh. He has rejected the bungalow suggestion already, though....

I'm posting a pic of my current main vapes, simply because I'm on the big computer which can do that sort of thing and it's quite exciting to be able to. (I've just accidentally bought that bloody rainbow drip tip so you won't see these at their best until it arrives. FastTech. Could be a while.)

Think positive thoughts Cantabile - my last Slowtech purchase took just 3 weeks from ordering to arriving . I can see that rainbow drip tip going OK with clear clearos, but as I colour code according to flavour it could all be just that bit too much for me!.

I like your blue MVP Cantabile ... slightly regret ordering the black one now (only from an aesthetic POV).

Now got the iClear 30 back in action alongside the Aerotank. Custard in the iClear, pina colada in the Aero. Both good clearos imho. The iClear vapes beautifully but the Aero is as good and has much better build quality and a glass tank. And uses less juice. They're miles better than the single coil Kanger clearos, which I still use occasionally: with those the juice doesn't really taste of much (that, or my tastebuds are still effed).

Raia, it's not blue, it's metallic grey. Phone cameras are not good and it would help if I got the lighting right! I like the sound of your Aero, are they very big? I want something the size of a normal CE5 type, which vapes as well as the iClear 16 but uses less juice. (The CE5s I had won't take the drip tip which came with the MVP, but it does work with an iClear 16.)

Does anyone have a V3 Clearo? Are they as good as they are supposed to be, and what is so revolutionary about them?

Cantabile, do you mean the protank v3? Ive got the mini version which I've not used yet.
