I admit when Edu was confirmed as leaving Arsenal I was a bit shocked and thought it was a bad thing however now I think it wasn’t a bad thing.
I do think they got rid of Nuno too quickly, and you’d have to be desperate to go there.

I'd actually prefer it if they learned something from hockey and abolished offside altogether. Actually, they could learn two things and have two umpires on the field of play, instead of one referee, linked remotely via headsets as well.

Between them, they'd tend to have two views of any incident and often one would be much closer to an incident than a referee (or linesman / woman) might be as things currently are.

Yes, I felt the same at the time but I now think that Arsenal let Edu go for a reason.

From what I read, it was a choice between Edu and Nuno and they chose to keep Edu.

My take away from it was Edu wanted a bigger job and Forest's owner owns 3 clubs so he would have a bigger remit and look over all 3?

There are others in the football world that have that set up and he was pushing for more
