Happy New Year.

This is going to be an interesting year with the regulation change.

Rumours are Mercedes and RB engines are exploiting a loophole and so may have the most powerful engines.

AM will have a car with significant input from Adrian Newey.

Sauber becomes Audi and we have an 11th team, Cadillac.

Christian Horner seems very keen to get back into F1, preferably Alpine with Flávio - they deserve each other.

There is closed door testing in Barcelona then open testing from 11 February at Sakhir.

Edited for typo and thread title.

I am really looking forward to Monza with the upgraded Ferrari engine and possible penalties for Merc if they take new engine parts.

I also have fond memories of going to Monza - it’s such a beautiful setting.

@Brazilianadventuredid you not find it a pain to actually get to the track in Monza? I remember spending a lot of time being transported back and forth last year

It’s a long time since I’ve been to a race track due to mobility issues. Sadly, unless I win the lottery my race going days are over as I need helicopter/Paddock club parking with golf cart shuttle to the Paddock Club - in my dreams. 😂

The first time I did a Page and Moy tour, I stayed in Como and they bused us to a field next to the park. That was relatively easy but it was about 20 years ago. 😂

The two other times I did DIY staying in Milan, taking a train then a bus to the track. Going it was OK but it did take a long time to get a bus after the race and then a very long wait to get on the train - I used to grab a cold drink in a cafe nearby rather than queue up

From what I remember it was much busier the last time I went. It was all pre DTS and the huge explosion in popularity which has seen crowds increase significantly. I can imagine now the queues and journey to and from the track would be lengthy.

Kimi Antonelli has confirmed that he will be taking a grid penalty in Monza.

The Ferrari livery & race suits look
really good. It makes you realise how much the sponsor advertising $$$ has made the cars very busy to look
at.

He’s going to be providing funding & access to sponsors for the upcoming drivers by the look of it. And it’s a long term commitment
