This is going to be an interesting year with the regulation change.

Rumours are Mercedes and RB engines are exploiting a loophole and so may have the most powerful engines.

AM will have a car with significant input from Adrian Newey.

Sauber becomes Audi and we have an 11th team, Cadillac.

Christian Horner seems very keen to get back into F1, preferably Alpine with Flávio - they deserve each other.

There is closed door testing in Barcelona then open testing from 11 February at Sakhir.

Do you think red bull will keep him?

I think it might take a couple of races before Hadjar is back so Liam might get more than one weekend. Apparently it was a training incident rather than an accident on holiday.

If Liam does well then VCarb should keep him next year. It’s also a good shop window for Liam to show other teams what he can do.

I can’t see Liam going back to RB now Max has signed a contract extension as Hadjar is doing enough to keep his seat.

Sadly for Yuki I think reserve RB driver is all he will get now. So he needs to look at other series.

I 100% think he's getting the Honda charter drive coming in Indy, and I think their style of racing will suit him.

Hope all the fans got there after the train chaos.

Missed the Sprint Race but caught Quali.

Pleased for Lando, the Mercs still looking good. Relieved Lewis managed to put in a reasonable lap for 5th.

Liam did well to qualify so close to Max. I think he needed that.

Borteto and Linblad both doing well too.

We're just back at the apartment. Loads of people were late due to the train issues. The people in front of us were about 4 laps late for the sprint.

Missed everything so far (at work yday and visiting DD today) ....and DS was ill this morning and forgot to watch for both of us!!
And were due to be at family event tomorrow!

Looks promising for McLaren. Looks like OP was close to Lando in q1 and 2, and just pipped by Mercedes in q3.
