Thread two

We are over halfway through the season. It looks like the WDC will either be Lando or Oscar. Hoping for a grandstand finish in Abu Dhabi.

@gingercat02 I'm calling Williams as the team to watch next season. We've seen glimpses of them at their best this season.

I would LOVE to see Williams and Sainz do well next year. Carlos is brilliant and handled himself so well last year in the Ferrari mess.
I think for Hamilton 26 will be his last year. Either he'll do well, or he won't, but I think he's lacking the motivation now. And i don't think ferrari are willing to work with him in the way that is needed for them to really progress.

Lando please just build a safe gap to Charles

No, i want to see to see Charles all over the back of Lando - i want some excitement and not just a procession for the next 44 laps 😂

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:25

I hope Oscar wins today’s race. After last week he deserves the win.

No, I want to see Oscar all over the back of Max and Lando tucked safely behind with no-one closer to him than 10 seconds behind. 😛

ThatCalmFinch · 07/12/2025 13:28

I wonder if Max will risk backing up the McLarens, probably not until nearly the end if its still the same order, probably depends on who is in 4th position.

Agree, my ideal race Oscar will win as redemption for last week, ....but hopefully Norris will get the overall win.

Lando is doing well but Liam and Yuki are a problem.

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:35

Now just Yuki

ThatCalmFinch · 07/12/2025 13:35

No pressure Yuki just hold off Lando for as long as you can, ideally until there's a safety car.

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:39

Is Lando going to get a 5 second penalty ?

OP posts:
Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:40

Could be. Hope not

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:41

That was not a fair defence from Yuki.

OP posts:
Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:41

Yuki noted

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:41

Other news Lewis in in 8th.

Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:43

Good defense from Yuki. I wouldn’t have blamed him for ignoring orders to help Max

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:44

Oscar only needs 5 seconds on Max to keep ahead at the pit stop.

Rowgtfc72 · 07/12/2025 13:44

Here we go again......

Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:47

No further action Lando

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:49

No Penalty for Lando

OP posts:
Fizbosshoes · 07/12/2025 13:49

Need to pit Oscar soon to give him a chance of a podium ....😬

Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:52

Fake indignation from Yuki

Brazilianadventure · 07/12/2025 13:56

If I was McLaren I would try to get Lando 5+ seconds ahead of Charles. RB are likely to appeal so having 5+ second cushion means it wouldn’t change his position.

OP posts:
Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 13:59

He’s 5 clear at the moment

Comefromaway · 07/12/2025 14:00

Dd reckons they can’t appeal unless there is new evidence?
