We are over halfway through the season. It looks like the WDC will either be Lando or Oscar. Hoping for a grandstand finish in Abu Dhabi.

Happy to Williams but what a bad call from McLaren. Still that is racing, it was a gamble that could have paid off. I’m surprised they didn’t pit 1 during the safety car and only gamble with 1 car.

There will be 2 very grumpy drivers!

If my calculations are right 3rd in AD means Lando is WDC.

I’m pleased for Carlos & Williams.

The rest of the field were in a DRS chain.

My daughter isn’t happy.

A shame for Hadjar that puncture

Same, DS grumpy....despite that being OP best performance for months....but they've opened the door for Max

That will be a harsh learning curve for Ollie. He's got such potential for the next few years though.

Thing is they split strategy before with Lando’s 1 stop at Hungary & Oscar fans criticised it.

I think both Lando & Oscar fans need to accept that will happen at times

Oscar is gutted. He’s raced so well but both McLaren’s were let down tonight

That was horribly tense. Max was 100 points behind at Zandvoort how have McLaren screwed up so badly 😢

I think Oscar has every right to be gutted. Lando was never in contention in race trim.

Woo hoo! Abu Dhabi here I come!!!!!! Gah! I love Lando (but maybe love Carlos more). But so so pleased we have a 3 way fight next week!!!

The DSQ in Vegas really impacted them. Plus Lando had the DNF

Yeah commentators were saying that could have cost them a mcLaren 1-2, but hadnt max already overtaken Lando?
This was OPs opportunity to catch up some big points, he took 8 seconds off Max in the last 10ish laps but no point being the fastest when he was that far behind.
Really happy that Carlos held on for p3
Why did antonelli let Lando past, his defence is amazing?

@Fizbosshoes Kimi ran wide and Lando went by.

Dd was following their radios. Both McLarens asked to pit.

For a while I've read on social media, people saying that McLaren trying to be fair to both drivers, will let Max back into the competition.....

But these last 2 weeks have been pretty unfair to both drivers! 🤣 (....with the same result that Max looms closer....)

I think it would be better for Oscar that Lando gets WDC than Max as if Lando gets it he probably would have anyway but if Max does then Oscar could feel it could have been him.

@workingcockerAD will be epic. I said to DH when we retire we need to use our holiday budget working our way round the F1 calendar. He was a bit 😬

Gutted for Oscar. If he can’t win it I’m going for Max. Oscar was leading the race and deserved the optimum strategy, even if it would have disadvantaged Lando.

Race direction once again subpar with missing what happened when Lando passed Kimi.

I can't believe how much McLaren messed that up.

Poor Oscar, he drove the best he possibly could have all weekend and he's gone from 2nd to 3rd in championship.

Max is going to win the wdc and it pisses me off

At least Zac took full responsibility. Said we messed up and apologised to Oscar and Lando.

I noticed there was just about no footage of the McLaren team immediately after the race. You see RB and Max Verstappen celebrating the win that McLaren gifted him then you see Carlos and the Williams team over the freakin moon for his podium finish.....and between them is Oscar who is too gutted to even look at his team! But the camera doesnt show them either, after they've shafted their driver(s) for the 2nd week in a row....
