Thread two

We are over halfway through the season. It looks like the WDC will either be Lando or Oscar. Hoping for a grandstand finish in Abu Dhabi.

Everything I see online suggests they're looking at Alpine

Brazilianadventure · 25/10/2025 18:50

I do think Alpine is n more likely but this is F1 and you can never tell.

Very true

Brazilianadventure · 25/10/2025 22:21

Albon struggling again in quali. He does so well in the races.

Kimi was a bit precarious there.

Fizbosshoes · 25/10/2025 23:05

That was stressful for the OP fan here, its definitely slipping away

Comefromaway · 25/10/2025 23:05

Yes, poor Oscar.

but well done Ferrari

JamesWebbSpaceTelescope · 25/10/2025 23:09

Nice to see a happy Hamilton again.

I’m very worried for my boy Oscar 😭 Lando has the momentum hasn’t he.

Still, anything can happen in turn one tomorrow so let’s wait and see.

Comefromaway · 25/10/2025 23:11

My Lando fan daughter is very happy

gingercat02 · 26/10/2025 08:54

Good quali, i think Oscar has decided the team aren't backing him and has lost his confidence. Anything can happen tonight mind you.

Comefromaway · 26/10/2025 08:56

A total turnaround from when Lando lost his confidence earlier in the season.

Never underestimate Max of course.

Rowgtfc72 · 26/10/2025 09:20

Lando fan, but very pleased to see the Ferrari s up there. About time.
Enjoy reading the comments from Oscar fans saying his cars been nobbled. I also think hes just lost a bit of confidence. Not a fan of him personally but hes a very good driver and his championship win will come be it this year or another.

HundredMilesAnHour · 26/10/2025 09:57

I’m looking forward to seeing what happens at the start (wish we didn’t have to wait until this evening, grr!). Lando must be relieved that it’s Charles and Lewis behind him as it’s extremely unlikely that they’ll t-bone him (unlike certain other drivers further back on the grid). Hope I haven’t jinxed it now 🙄😂

Interesting to see how this season is playing out for Lando and Oscar. It shows just how much is mental and that it’s not all about the car.

And no Dainica this weekend, hurray!!!

Brazilianadventure · 26/10/2025 20:12

OMG this is the best racing in ages. Go Ollie Bearman

So Lewis gets a penalty but Max doesn’t?! Wtf?!

I knew that would happen. Verstappen gets away with murder. One of the reasons I dislike him so much

Comefromaway · 26/10/2025 20:47

Go Ollie!

feel very sorry for Lewis

Comefromaway · 26/10/2025 21:14

This is exciting

Rowgtfc72 · 26/10/2025 21:19

Proper F1 racing! Missed this.

Brazilianadventure · 26/10/2025 21:22

To be fair Lewis did gain a lot on track.

Lando and Ollie have been exceptional.

I hope Ollie gets driver of the day.

Fair play to George for swapping back as he said he would.

Comefromaway · 26/10/2025 21:32

I so wanted Ollie to get a podium
