I was really excited when I heard Gills were in talks to bring him back, however I guess his wage demands were the stumbling block despite being on a pay as you play deal. Its a real shame, even though very injury prone he would have scored every time he played, I've no doubt.

Was back at Gayfield today. Local derby against Montrose. They ended up down to 10 men but you wouldn't have known it with how we continued to play. 0-0 in the end. I could have had a good snooze through most of it tbh. 🙈

Went to the FA Community Shield at Wembley today! Was in the Manchester City supporters’ bit, thanks to getting some tickets from a friend, and I think they’re now my honorary team… if I’m allowed to be an honorary supporter? 🩵 It feels quite cheeky, but I’m rationalising it with the thought that I don’t expect a trophy from Spurs anytime soon 😂 Although I did see something yesterday that said around 60% of Spurs supporters think this season will be the one when we finally get a trophy!! And I’ve seen they’ve just signed Solanke, which I think is inspired. I’m excited for the next season! ⚽️⚽️

Last season was my first proper one as a fully fledged Spurs supporter, so can my defence be that I’m very new to this? 😂😂😂 I do really hope they get a trophy soon though! I see Harry Kane finally got his hands on one today… (the Visit Malta Cup, after a couple of friendly games - and at the Spurs ground, no less!)
