Well played Ipswich, was hoping for a Villa style comeback from Spurs 2nd half but it didn't materialize 🙄

Gillingham finally got a win at the the 7th attempt of asking. Awful game against top of the table Port Vale, just the one shot on target from both sides all game. Still the 3 points are very welcome, moves us back into the top half and they get a break next weekend as Walsall have players on international duty.

Bad FPL week here too, stick Wood in my team and he chooses this week not to score 😂

Just saw this on FB. Anyone who left at 90 minutes (or even 81 minutes when it was 5-2) will have been gutted they didn't stay to the end.

The BBC are reporting that David Coote (who refereed Liverpool v Villa on Saturday) has been suspended by PGMOL. Allegedly, a video has come to light on social media showing Coote making derogatory comments about Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp.

I have seen the video. Stupid to say these things whilst being recorded and not to think it would be posted online.

@DuncinToffee Yep, I've seen the videos as well now and can only hope they are deep fakes - how stupid of him if they're genuine. Lots of Liverpool fans are now pointing out he was the VAR when Pickford escaped any sanction for taking Van Dijk out for the season a few years ago, and when Odegaard got away with his handball last season.

I personally think this is just Coote being a bloody fool, rather than having an agenda against Liverpool (or maybe it's me being the fool to charitably believe that 😆). You can see how this kind of thing fuels conspiracy theories, though.

Yes, I have also seen the decisions against Liverpool being posted, that was alway going to happen, especially the Pickford one.

I like Lineker but I suspect he’s realised he can say what he likes without the hassle on his podcast. I like Chappers but I do wonder if it will be someone else fairly inoffensive like Theo Walcott. Jenas was being groomed for the post but he screwed it up.

Oh Lord!! The less said about the Spurs-Ipswich match the better! It wasn’t awful awful, but it was pretty bad. This week’s fixture and the next one couldn’t look more different for Spurs - Ipswich at home vs Man City away. And if they manage to lose against Ipswich at home, then what hope is there for them vs Man City? Although they do have a weird habit of completely cocking up the games you think they’re bound to win and then fighting like their lives depend on it in games that you think would be unwinnable. They’re such a funny old team 😂😂 Bring on the Man City game!
