What a load of overpaid rubbish. Does anyone think that they are any good ?
They seem incapable of making any effort, or playing as a team:

Have had a number of conversations with DP over the last few weeks about why apparently brilliant players simply flop when they all get together to play for England

It can’t be the management as it’s the same story every tournament

My theory is they’re (mostly) not very bright and that this is masked when they’re among players from other countries, but stark when all together

You really think they're going out there and just can't be bothered? They're better tonight than against Denmark, clearly something isn't clicking but I doubt that's because they're not making the effort. Do you really think any of them have the mindset of I'm playing for my country, can't be arsed, I'll dial it in tonight... 🙄

The tournament as a whole had been low scoring. The ref tonight isn't playing the advantage either, too quick with the whistle which slows things down.

Also no they don't play as a team very often.

At least we know we are rubbish! England have a strong team yet are playing poorly. There's no chance they will win this tournament unless there's a massive improvement.

I always feel that we’re just not as confident as other national teams. I have no real knowledge about sports psychology (or football tbh) but I always think the players look hopeful rather than confident. And I don’t think that as a collective mindset that that’s enough. But as I say, I have no real clue and ego knows how confident they are in reality and how much of a difference that really makes.

They won their group, still not good enough though is it. Maybe that's why they don't have the confidence of other teams, because the support is so conditional.

He’s there as a football presenter, surely entitled to his opinion and paid to give it.

They were much better tonight - at least they had most of the possession, and were attacking. Unlike when they played Denmark and spent all their time passing back and being so frightened of going forward defensive.

They are playing poorly. Something doesn't seem to be clicking. Southgate made some subs that had a positive impact second half today, hopefully performance improves overall.

Just listened to the interview with
Harry Kane and, he said they've taken control and won the group with was the aim. I wouldn't call two draws and a win taking control. We've also only scored two goals so far, which is fine but not taking control. Seems a strange mentally. Fingers crossed for a better game Sunday.

We might have won our group but the way they’re playing hardly fills me with confidence they’ll go far in the knockouts. Shame - it’s fun in England when England do well!

Kane must have been playing a game I didn't watch if that's what he thought they did.

I hate the way the manager is always blamed for poor performance. It must be difficult to play as a team when they get so few chances to practice as one. The men do have a more full on playing schedule vs. The Lionesses who as we all know are bloody brilliant.

Pathetic performance again against a minnow team. Southgate shambles. All fear no idea. Slow, no pressing, no adventure, no shots! I'd rather pepper the goal, try, and if we lose fine. Standing still and playing like table football is just useless.
